• READ AND KEEP ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or incapacitated persons.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take the appliance to the nearest Authorized Oster Appliance Service Center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- The use of attachments, including canning and/or ordinary jars and processing assembly parts not recommended by the manufacturer, may cause a risk of injury to persons.
- Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons and/or damage to the blender. If scraping, folding, etc., is necessary, turn off and unplug the Blender, and only use a rubber spatula.
- Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
- To reduce risk of injury to persons, never place cutting blades on base without blender jar properly attached.
- Screw on jar bottom firmly. Injury can result if moving blades become exposed.
• Always operate blender with cover in place.
- Make sure that the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage indicated on the appliance.
- Always hold jar while processing. If the jar should turn when the motor is switched on, switch off immediately and tighten blender jar in threaded jar bottom. DO NOT leave blender unattended while it is operating.
- Be careful if hot liquid is poured into blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming. When blending hot liquids, remove the feeder cap from the lid. DO NOT fill Blender jar beyond the 4 cup level. Always begin processing at the lowest speed setting. Keep hands and other exposed skin away from the cover opening to prevent possible burns.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put Blender base in water or other liquid. DO NOT let the cord hang over edge of table or countertop. DO NOT let cord rest against hot surfaces.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments farm houses by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments bed and breakfast type environments.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. DO NOT use outdoors.
- The maximum continuous operating time for the pulse function is 4 minutes.
FOR MODELS WITH BLEND-N-GO ACCESSORY ONLY

CAUTION!
- Do not process ingredients for more than 1 min in the Blend-N-Go cup. Excessive blending may cause heat and pressure to build up in an enclosed vessel, if the jar is warm, allow the jar and contents to cool before opening.
- Do not put hot foods or liquids into the Blend-N-Go cup. Hot ingredients will result in pressure build up in the jar which could cause hot ingredients to spurt out when removing the jar bottom, resulting in burns. Only process ingredients that are room temperature or cooler in the Blend-N-Go cup.
- Do not blend carbonated beverages as this could result in critical pressure build up in the jar.
- Do not fill beyond the MAX fill line.

The maximum rating as marked on the unit is based on the attachment that draws the greatest load. Other recommended attachments may draw significantly less power.

POWER CORD SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Try to position the blender near the power source to reduce the hazards associated with power cords (such as becoming entangled or tripping over a long power cord).
- Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse the power cord.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the main body of the blender during or after use.
- Do not use an extension cord with this product.

This symbol is used in certain parts of this manual and is intended to help you easily identify those instructions that require special attention.

USING YOUR BLENDER
Your product includes the following technology and features:
- 3 Intelligent Programs – Automatic programs ensure precise speed and operating time to deliver perfect results.
- Blade – 3-in-1 multi-blade system precisely pulverizes, chops and mixes evenly.
- Exclusive reversible technology – The exclusive reversible technology turns blades back and forth to completely process all ingredients.
- Manual Controls – Give you the flexibility to operate the blender to customize your recipes.
- Filler Cap – Lets you add ingredients without removing the jar lid.
- Models with 2-liter Boroclass® glass jar – Thermal shock-resistant glass jar was created to withstand extreme temperature changes up to 90°C.
- Models with 2-liter tritan™ jar – The tritan™ technology delivers all the benefits of a glass jar in a break-resistant, non-toxic and odor-free material.
Before you use product for first time, separate filler cup, 2 L jar, jar lid, blade, black sealing ring and black threaded bottom cap. Wash in warm, soapy water, or top rack in the dishwasher. Rinse and dry well.
ASSEMBLING THE 2 L JAR
(FOR MODELS WITH THE BLEND-N-GO CUP ONLY)


WARNING: Blade is sharp. Handle with care.
- Install the sealing ring over the blade (Fig. 14).
- Preparing the 2 L jar:
a. For models with Boroclass® glass jar only, turn jar upside down and place the collar on the small/bottom opening of the jar ensuring the notches in the collar fit into the four tabs on the jar (Fig. 15).
b. For models with Tritan™ jar, turn the jar upside down so the small opening is at the top.
- Turn the multi-functional blade with sealing ring upside down and place into the bottom of the jar (Fig. 16).

- Turn the black threaded jar bottom down and place it over the small opening of the jar and the bottom of the blade. Turn clockwise to tighten (Fig. 17). Be sure the black threaded jar bottom is locked securely to the jar before using.
- Turn the jar up and place it onto the motor base (Fig. 18).
- Plug the power cord into a standard household outlet of the same voltage as the one indicated in the rating plate of your blender. You are now ready to start.

USING THE INTELLIGENT PROGRAMS

- Press the ⬇ (Fig. 19) power button to turn the product on. The power light will to blink, meaning the product is active and ready to use.
- Put the ingredients into the jar.
- Place the lid with the filler cap in place.
- Press one of the three intelligent program buttons appropriate for your recipe (Fig. 20).
- Juice program button

- Food processor program button

- Milkshake program button

- To change your selection, press stop button followed by another intelligent program button.
- Once the program is finished the product automatically stops. PLEASE NOTE: You may press the stop button to cancel the program at any time. The blinking blue light indicates that the blender is ready.
- Press the ⏻ (Fig. 19) power button to turn the product off.
This product is pre-programmed to turn off automatically if not used for a period of several minutes. All lights will turn off when the unit automatically powers down.

Use these buttons for personal recipes or to continue mixing after an intelligent program is finished.

- Press the Speed 3 button to run the product at a high speed (Fig. 22).
- Press the stop button to cancel the operation at any time (Fig. 23).
- Press the ⏻ (Fig. 21) power button to turn the product off.

USING YOUR BLEND-N-GO
(MODELS WITH BLEND-N-GO ACCESSORY ONLY)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Blend-N-Go cup attachment is only compatible with the GRAY Threaded Bottom Cap with the Locking Lever and the GRAY Sealing Ring with notches.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE MAKE SURE TO USE THE FOLLOWING PARTS FOR THE BLEND-N-GO CUP:

Before washing ensure the blender is off and unplugged. Wash all components except blender base with soapy water with a soft sponge and a bottlebrush. Do not use abrasive cleansers or sponges for cleaning. Rinse well and dry. Parts are also dishwasher safe.
Place desired ingredients into cup according to the following order:
Liquids, fresh ingredients, frozen fruit, ice, yogurt and ice cream.
WARNING: DO NOT PROCESS HOT FOODS OR LIQUIDS IN THE BLEND-N-GO JAR.
(Cut all firm fruits, vegetables and other foods into pieces no larger than 1.25 cm (1/2-inch) by 5.0 cm (2 inches).
- Place blade into gray threaded bottom cap (Fig. 27).
CAUTION: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. - Place sealing ring over blade assembly. Carefully press and tuck sealing ring into locking groove (Fig. 28).
- Ensure the locking sealing ring is fully and evenly tucked in place and holding the blade assembly to the threaded bottom cap. For correct assembly see (Fig. 29).
- Install the integrated threaded bottom cap and blade assembly onto the cup. (Fig. 30). NOTE: For proper installation onto blender motor base, make sure locking lever rotates past the anti-rotation tabs on the Blend-N-Cup cup. Locking lever should not be positioned on top of any of the tabs (Fig. 31). Make sure to tighten the gray threaded bottom cap onto the cup as far as possible, ensuring that it passes the last anti-rotation tab (Fig. 32)
- Place cup assembly onto blender base (Fig. 33). Hold cup in position while blending. Operate blender according to the instructions in this instruction manual. Blend until desired consistency.
- Remove cup from base (Fig. 34).
- Remove threaded bottom cap.
- Place lid on cup and turn clockwise to tighten (Fig. 35).
You're now ready to enjoy your blended drink!

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
After Use:
- Lift the jar straight up from the base, remove the lid and empty the jar.
- If necessary, use a rubber spatula to scrape foods away from the sides of the jar.

WARNING: Blade is sharp. Handle with care.
Release the multi-functional blade from the bottom of the jar by turning the threaded bottom disk counterclockwise.
The filler cap, 2 L jar, jar lid, blade, black sealing ring and threaded bottom cap are dishwasher safe. Use the top rack of the dishwasher to wash these parts. The black sealing ring can be placed into bottom basket of dishwasher.
You can also wash the parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry. Check the parts as you put them back together.
Cleaning the Blend-N-Go cup (models with Blend-N-Go accessory only)
Wash all components except blender base with soapy water with a soft sponge and a bottlebrush. Do not use abrasive cleansers or sponges for cleaning. Rinse well and dry. Parts are also dishwasher safe.
Cleaning the blender
Wipe the base with a soft, damp cloth to clean. Never submerge the base in a liquid.
STORING
Reassemble the blender for storage. Leave the lid open a gap so no odors are retained.

WARNING: Never put the jar, or any other parts, in a microwave oven. Never store foods or drinks in the jar.
BLENDING TIPS
Liquids
Put liquids into the jar first, unless the recipe says otherwise.
Using the jar lid food chute
Do not remove the lid while in use. Food may splatter if you do. Instead, open the jar lid food chute to add smaller ingredients.
Working with Hot Foods or Liquids

WARNING: When you work with HOT FOODS, remove the jar lid food chute to vent steam. Tilt the lid away from you partially covering the opening. Keep hands and other exposed skin away from the lid opening to prevent possible burns.
When you work with HOT LIQUIDS, remove the jar lid food chute and start at a low speed, and then gradually increase to a faster speed. Do not add liquid over the 4 cup level. Always keep hands away from steam.

Use only the amount of food suggested in the recipes. If you want greater amounts, prepare in batches. Using larger amounts may overload and strain the motor. You might also get different results from those described.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why doesn't the blender turn on?
- Make sure the base is plugged in an active power receptacle.
- Verify blinking red light is active after pushing on/off button ⏻
How can I prevent liquids from leaking out?
Check to see that the sealing ring is correctly assembled in between the jar blade and the 2 L jar.
