Frequently Asked Questions - PSBV162 Pyle

How do I pair my Pyle PSBV162 soundbar with Bluetooth?
Turn on the soundbar; it automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode with blue LED flashing. On your device, search for 'PYLE' and connect. If a passkey is requested, enter '0000'. A confirmation tone will sound and the LED will stay solid.
How do I connect the soundbar to my TV using Optical?
Plug an optical cable into the Optical port on the soundbar and the TV. Press the 'MODE' button until the white LED for Optical lights up. Audio will automatically play from the TV.
What is HDMI ARC and how do I use it?
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows audio from your TV to be sent to the soundbar via a single HDMI cable. Connect the HDMI cable from the soundbar's HDMI (ARC) port to the TV's HDMI ARC port. Select the ARC input using the remote or mode button.
Can I control the volume with the remote?
Yes, use the Volume + and - buttons on the remote. You can also press and hold for fast volume adjustment. Additionally, the soundbar has touch buttons on the unit for volume control.
What should I do if there is no sound from the soundbar?
Check that the soundbar is powered on and the correct input source is selected. Ensure the audio cable is securely connected. Try muting/unmuting with the remote. If using Bluetooth, confirm the device is paired and playing. Also verify the TV audio output is set to external speakers.
How do I play music from a USB drive?
Insert a USB drive into the USB port on the soundbar. Press the 'USB' button on the remote (or the play/pause button on the unit) to start playback. Use the previous/next track buttons to navigate.
How do I switch between input modes?
Press the 'MODE' button on the soundbar or the corresponding source button on the remote (BT, AUX, OPT, USB, ARC) to cycle through inputs. The LED indicator will show the active mode.
How do I factory reset or unpair Bluetooth?
In Bluetooth mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button on the remote for about 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and enter pairing mode again. This effectively resets the BT connection.
What power supply does the soundbar require?
The soundbar uses an external power adapter rated AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz input and DC 15V/2A output. Only use the included adapter to avoid damage.
Where should I place the soundbar for best performance?
Place the soundbar on a sturdy, flat surface in front of your TV or mount it on a wall. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Keep it away from magnets (older TVs) to prevent discoloration.
