How do I preheat the Innoliving INN-738 oven?

Turn the thermostat to the desired temperature and the timer to about 10-15 minutes. The oven will heat up. Once the timer rings, it is preheated.

Can I use metal utensils inside the oven?

No, bulky food or metal utensils should not be placed in the appliance as it could create a fire or risk of electric shock. Use only oven-safe glass or ceramic dishes.

How do I use the rotisserie function?

Insert the spit through the food, secure with skewers and thumbscrews. Place the pointed end into the drive socket and the square end on the support. Set thermostat to 250°C, timer to desired time, and selector to Rotisserie or Full Function. The rotisserie will rotate automatically.

What should I do if the oven smokes during first use?

Light smoke during the first use is normal and will disappear in 5-10 minutes. This is due to the heating element burning off manufacturing residues.

How do I clean the oven interior?

Allow the oven to cool completely. Use a damp cloth to wipe the interior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal sponges. The exterior can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Can I use aluminum foil inside the oven?

No, do not cover the inside parts of the oven with aluminum foil. This may cause overheating and fire risk.

What is the maximum cooking time I can set?

The timer can be set up to 60 minutes. Once the time expires, the oven will automatically shut off with a bell.

Read carefully the instructions manual and keep this manual safe for future references.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, which include the followings:

1. Please read this instruction manual carefully. Use the product only for the intended purpose. Make sure that the appliance is connected to a power outlet with an adequate power. Do not use the appliance by connecting it to a multiple socket outlet. This can cause a short circuit.
2. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance. Do not move the oven when in use.
3. Careful supervision is necessary if the appliance is used near children.

Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old. Keep the product out of reach of animals during use. Never leave the product unattended during use. This product can be used by children older than 8 and persons with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if under supervision or if they received instructions for safe use of the appliance and they understood the related dangers. Make sure children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and under supervision.

7. Do not dismantle the product, try to repair or change the power plug in any way.
8. This appliance must not be used with an external timer or separate remote control.

TIMER EAND INTERIOR LIGHT

BEFORE USE

• Make sure there is enough ventilation around the oven.
- Make sure the oven is completely dry before use.
- The oven must not be placed on untreated wooden surface when in use. Place the product on a heat resistant surface.
- The feet of the pven can leave some marks on the surface, remove them by using a soft damp cloth

HOW TO USE

• Turn the temperature selector to the desired position.
• Turn the Selector dial to the desired position.
• Turn the Timer clock-wise to set the desired cooking time.
• The power light will light up after timer is turned on and turn off when the timer is OFF.
• When the cooking time is over, the oven will automatically shut off and the bell will ring.
• If the cooking is finished earlier than the set cooking time, please turn back the timer to "0" to turn off the oven.
• During the first use of this oven, there might be some light smoke coming out from the oven and it will disappear in 5-10 minutes. This is normal.
• In order to get better cooking performance, it is recommended to pre-heat the oven for about 10-15 minutes.

HOW TO USE ROTISSERIE

1. Put one skewer through the pointed end of the spit, making sure the points of skewer face towards the spit's pointed end. Slide the skewer towards the square end of the spit.
2. Insert the spit directly through the center of the food which you want to roast.
3. Put the other skewer through the pointed end of the spit, making sure the points of skewer face the spit's square end.
4. Put the two skewers into the food, then secure both skewers with the thumbscrews.
5. Make sure the food is centered on the spit.
6. Insert the pointed end of the spit into the drive socket, make sure the square end of the spit rests on the spit support.
7. Plug the oven.
8. Set the thermostat to 250°.
9. Turn the timer to the time which you require, the power indicator will light up. Normally it takes 30 minutes to roast a 2.5Kg(5.5Pd) weight chicken.
10. Set the selector to ROTISSERIE or Full Function setting, the rotisserie starts rotating.
11. When roasting is completed, turn back the timer to OFF.
12. After the oven is cooled, place the hooks of the rotisserie handle under the grooves on both sides of the spit. Lift the right side of the spit first, move towards right side a little bit, so that the left side of the spit goes out of the drive socket. Then carefully move out the roasted food from the oven.
13. Take the food off the spit

GRILLING

• Turn the cooking knob to position 2 (Top Cooking).
• Set the thermostat to 250^
• Turn the timer clockwise until the desired cooking time.

AFTER USE

• Set Timer to OFF position
• Set the temperature to the OFF position.
• Disconnect the plug from the power supply.
• Allow the oven to completely cool down before proceed with any cleaning or maintenance operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the plug from the power supply and allow the oven to completely cool down.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. The surfaces can be cleaned using a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp tools to clean the appliance.
• Clean the inside of the oven with a damp cloth.

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during the use.
