It is important your machine receives regular maintenance to prolong its useful life. Failing to regularly maintain your machine may void your warranty.

Please keep this manual with you at all times.

- It is important to read this entire manual before assembling and using the equipment. Safe and effective use can only be achieved if the equipment is assembled, maintained and used properly.

Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that all users of the equipment are informed of all warnings and precautions.

- Before starting any exercise program you should consult your doctor to determine if you have any medical or physical conditions that could put your health and safety at risk, or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your doctor's advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or cholesterol level.

- Be aware of your body's signals. Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health. Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat, and extreme shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizziness or feelings of nausea. If you do experience any of these symptoms, you should consult your doctor before continuing with your exercise program.

- Keep children and pets away from the equipment. This equipment is designed for adult use only.

- Use the equipment on a solid, flat level surface with a protective cover for your floor or carpet. To ensure safety, the equipment should have at least 2 meters of free space around it.

- Before using the equipment, check that the nuts and bolts are securely tightened. If you hear any unusual noises coming from the equipment during use and assembly, stop immediately. Do not use the equipment until the problem has been rectified.

- Wear suitable clothing while using the equipment. Avoid wearing loose clothing that may get caught in the equipment or that may restrict or prevent movement.

II. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

V. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARATION

Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item.

  1. Lock the front bottom tube (10) into the main frame (1) with Inner hex screw (13), spring washer (27) and arch washer (34).
  2. Lock the rear bottom tube (12) into the main frame (1) with Inner hex screw (14), spring washer (27) and arch washer (34).
  3. Insert the rear supporting tube (4) into the guide rail (3L/R), and lock it with hex bolt (18), spring washer (26), flat washer (30).
  4. Lock the guide rail (3L/R) into the rear bottom tube (12) with hex bolt (17), spring washer (35), and flat washer (33).

STEP 2

  1. Cover the front cover (68) to handlebar post (2), then connect the sensor wire (72) and extension wire (73).

  2. Insert the handlebar post (2) into the main frame (1) and lock it tightly with Hex bolt (17), spring washer (27), and arch washer (34).

STEP 3

  1. Lock the swing bar (5L/R) to the long axis of handlebar post (2) with hex bolt (16), spring washer (28), flat washer (31) and wave washer (36).
  2. Lock the pedal bar (9L/R) to the roller bracket (7) with hex bolt (44), flat washer (45) and nylon nut (46).
  3. Connect the swing bar (5L/R) and pedal bar (9L/R) with hex bolt (22), flat washer (33) and nylon nut (38).
  4. Lock the pedal (65) into the pedal bar (9L/R) with cross taping screw (23).

STEP 4

  1. Lock the handlebar (6L/R) to swing bar (5L/R) with Hex bolt (17), spring washer (27) and Arch washer (35).
  2. Put the pulse wire (74) through the hole of handlebar (2) and put it out from the bracket, and then lock the handrail (11) into the handlebar (2) with hex bolt (17), spring washer (27) and arch washer (35).

  1. Connect the pulse wire (74) and extension wire (73) with the wires of the computer (70), and then lock the computer (70) into the bracket of handlebar (2) with screw (71).
  2. Lock the left swing tube cover (52a/b) and right swing tube cover (39a/b) into the swing bar (5L/R) with screw (25).
  3. Lock the pedal bar cover (49L/R) on the connect place of the swing bar (5L/R) and pedal bar (9L/R) with screw (24 & 25).
  4. Lock the roller cover (50) into the Roller bracket (7) with cross taping screw (24).
  5. Connect adapter (19) to the power slot located at the front-bottom flywheel area and then plug into a wall socket.

VI. COMPUTER OPERATION

Key Functions

START/STOP

  1. Start & Pauses workouts.
  2. Start body fat measurement and quit the body fat program.
  3. Operates only when in stop mode. Holding key 3 seconds will reset all function value to be zero.

DOWN

Decrease value of selected workout parameter: TIME, DISTANCE, etc. During the workout, it will decrease the resistance lode.

UP

Increases value of selected workout parameter. During the workout, it will increase the resistance load.

ENTER

To input desired value or work out mode.

TEST (RECOVERY)

Press to enter into Recovery function when computer has the heart rate value. Recovery is Fitness Level 1-6 after 1 minute. F1 is best, and F6 is the worst.

MODE

Press to switch display form RPM to SPEED, ODO to DIST, and WATT to Calories during workout.

WORKOUT SELECTION

After power-up using UP or DOWN keys to select then pressing ENTER to enter the desired mode.

SETTING WORKOUT PARAMETERS

After selecting your desired program, you may pre-set several workout parameters for desired results.

WORKOUT PARAMETERS:

TIME/DISTANCE/CALORIES/AGE

Note: Some parameters are not adjustable in certain programs.

Once a program has been selected, pressing ENTER, will make "Time" parameter flash. Using UP OR DOWN KEY you may select desired time value. Press ENTER KEY to input value.

Flashing prompt will move to the next parameter. Continue use of UP OR DOWN KEY. Press START/STOP to start workout.

BODY FAT PROGRAM (P8)

Setting Data for Body Fat

Selecting "Body Fat Program" using UP OR DOWN KEY then pressing ENTER.

"Male" will flash so Gender can be adjusted using UP OR DOWN KEY, press ENTER to save gender & move to next data.

"175" of Height will flash so Height can be adjusted to use UP OR DOWN KEY, press ENTER KEY save value & move to next data.

"75" of Weight will flash so Weight can be adjusted to use UP OR DOWN KEY, press ENTER KEY to save value & move to next data.

"30" of age will flash so Age can be adjusted using UP OR DOWN KEY, press ENTER to save value. Press START/STOP to start measurement, please also grasp hand pulse grips.

After 15 seconds the display will show out Body Fat%, BMR, BMI & BODY TYPE.

NOTE:

Body Types: There are 5 body types divided according to the FAT% calculated.

BMR: Basal Metabolism Ratio.

BMI: Body Mass Index.

Press START/STOP KEY to return the main Display.

TARGET HEART RATE PROGRAM (P9)

Setting Parameter for TARGET H.R.

Selecting "TARGET H.R." using UP OR DOWN KEY then pressing ENTER KEY .1st parameter "Time" will flash so value can be adjusted using UP OR DOWN KEY. Press ENTER KEY to save value & move to next parameter to be adjusted.

Continue through all desired parameters, pressing START/STOP to start workout.

NOTE: If Pulse is above or below ( ±5 ) the set TARGET H.R., computer will adjust the resistance load automatically. It will check every 20 seconds approx. resistance load will increase or decrease.

(NOTE: Each resistance load represents 2 level of loading)

HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAM (P10-P12)

There are 3 selection for target pulse:

P10-60% TARGET H.R. = 60% of (220-AGE)

P11-75% TARGET H.R. = 75% of (220-AGE)

P12-85% TARGET H.R. = 85% of (220-AGE)

Selecting "One of Heart Rate Control Program" using UP OR DOWN KEY then pressing ENTER KEY. 1st parameter "Time" will flash so value can be adjusted using UP OR DOWN KEY. Press ENTER KEY to save value & move to next parameter to be adjusted.

Continue through all desired parameters, pressing START/STOP to start workout.

NOTE: If Pulse is above or below (±5) the set TARGET H.R., computer will adjust the resistance load automatically. It will check every 20 seconds' approx. resistance load will increase or decrease

User program allows user to set their own program that can be used immediately.

Selecting user using UP OR DOWN KEY then pressing ENTER KEY .1st parameter "Time" will flash so value can be adjusted using UP OR DOWN KEY. Press ENTER KEY to save value & move to next parameter to be adjusted.

Continue through all desired parameters.

WARM UP

Start each workout with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and some light exercises. A proper warm-up increases your body temperature, heart rate and circulation in preparation for exercise. Ease into your exercise.

After warming up, increase the intensity to your desired exercise program. Be sure to maintain your intensity for maximum performance. Breathe regularly and deeply as you exercise.

COOL DOWN

Finish each workout with a light jog or walk for at least 1 minute. Then complete 5 to 10 minutes of stretching to cool down. This will increase the flexibility of your muscles and will help prevent post-exercise problems.

IX. HAND PULSE TECHNOLOGY

This product comes equipped with hand pulse sensors which are used to pick up tiny EKG/ECG signals that run through the body when your heart beats. These electrical EKG/ECG signals are very small and that they must be amplified 1000 times to make the signal useful for the computer to display your pulse.

To ensure proper operation:

  • The user must maintain good, consistent contact on all four sensors.
  • The users skin cannot be too dry or too wet.

Other factors that could affect the reading:

  • Change of grip on the sensors (during slow pace walking and up to running).
  • Tightening of hand muscles will produce small electrical signals.
  • Static electricity charges from the air or from walking on the treadmill.

EKG/ECG Sensors may filter through actual EKG/ECG signals and "Noise" factors that may affect the reading. This will cause the pulse reading to be delayed and will take longer to update the display as the heart rate changes. Too much noise will create an incorrect reading. Medical conditions or having no electrical signal in the hands are other factors that may affect pulse readings as well.

These are limitations of hand pulse technology and even the most expensive systems (which can cost upwards of \$3,000) used in hospitals have the same problems. The difference is that a patient in a hospital is not running on a treadmill. Hand pulse technology works well on stationary exercise machines like bikes and even elliptical cross trainers but are not perfect on a treadmill. We offer treadmills with a wireless heart rate receiver which may be a more accurate option.

To test if your hand pulse sensors are working up to specification, hold them while standing on the sidestep rails, not walking, and see if the reading is more in line with what you would expect. This will eliminate the movement and static electricity factors. If your hands are dry, then wet them slightly (saliva works as a great conductor if this doesn't bother you).
