FRYSING AV KJ∅LEBEHOLDER
MERK!
- Kjølebeholderen skal ikke være fuktig når den plasseres i fryseren.
- Rørepinnen og/eller drivakselen skal ikke plasseres i fryseren.
- Kontroller at temperaturen i fryseren er på maks. -18 °C.
- Plasser kjølebeholderen stående i fryseren i minst 24 timer.
- Rist kjølebeholderen for å kontrollere at væsken mellom veggene er frossen. Du skal ikke høre skvulpende lyder.

MERK!
- This appliance can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are more than eight years old, and are kept under supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.
- Pull out the plug when the ice cream maker is not in use, before replacing parts and before cleaning.
- Do not use sharp or metal utensils that can scratch the metal in the freezer bowl.
A rubber scraper or wooden utensil can be used, but only when the ice cream maker is switched off.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
• The ice cream maker is only intended for household use. - Do not expose the freezer bowl to heat or put it on a cooker, oven or microwave oven
• After use, clean the freezer bowl with a sponge or cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Rinse well and make sure the cylinder is wiped completely dry. - Store the ice cream maker in a clean and dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
- Never wash the ice cream maker in a dishwasher.
- Do not clean plastic parts with solvents.
- Do not touch the freezer
bowl with wet hands.
- Do not run the ice cream maker for more than 40 minutes at a time.
- A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe use.
- No part of the ice cream maker except the freezer bowl can be put in a freezer or fridge.
- Switch off the ice cream maker before changing accessories and before touching moving parts when the ice cream maker is working.
- Always check the freezer bowl before use. Do not use the ice cream maker if it is damaged.
- Do not use sharp or metal utensils that can scratch the metal in the freezer bowl.
- Do not subject the ice cream maker to knocks.

USE
BEFORE USING FOR FIRST TIME
NOTE:
Do not immerse the motor in water or any other liquid.
- Wipe the ice cream maker with a damp cloth.
- Wash the freezer bowl, lid and paddle with hot water and washing-up liquid, rinse and then wipe dry.
- The freezer bowl must not be wet when put in the freezer.

Do not put the paddle, and/or drive unit in the freezer.

Check that the temperature in the freezer is no more than -18^ C.
- Place the freeze bowl upright in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
- Shake the freezer bowl to check that the liquid between the walls is completely frozen. You should not hear a slopping sound.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
- The ingredients must not fill the freezer bowl to more than 40%.
- Do not run the ice cream maker for more than 40 minutes at a time.
- Home-made ice cream is not as hard as ice cream from the shop. For harder ice cream, put the ice cream in a sealed container with a rubber scraper or wooden utensil and put the container in the freezer for a few hours, or until the ice cream is hard.
- Put the drive unit in the hole in the motor.
- Put the lid on the motor and check that the catches on the motor lock the lid in place.
- Fit the paddle on the drive unit.
- Take the freezer bowl out of the freezer and put the motor with the paddle over the freezer bowl.
- Lock in place with the pins.
- Put the power switch in the l position and pour the ingredients into the freezer bowl straight away through the filling hole.
- Allow the ice cream maker to run for 20–40 minutes.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
- Never immerse the motor in water or any other liquid.
- Do not wash any parts of the ice cream maker in a dishwasher.
- The freezer bowl, paddle and lid can be cleaned with with hot water and a mild detergent.
- Clean the motor with a damp cloth.
- Wipe all the parts dry.
RECIPES
VANILLA ICE CREAM
• 3 egg yolks
- 50 g sugar
- 150 ml milk
- 100 ml whipped cream
• A few drops of vanilla extract
1. Whip the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl.
2. Allow the milk to simmer in a pan.
3. Whip the milk into the egg mixture.
4. Warm the mixture in a pad, stirring until it thickens. The mixture must not boil.
5. Take the pan off the heat when the mixture has thickened and allow to cool.
6. Stir in the cream and vanilla extract.
7. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl in the ice cream maker.
YOGHURT ICE CREAM WITH RASPBERRIES
• 150 g fresh raspberries
- 50 g sugar
• 150 ml natural yoghurt
1. Mash or purée the raspberries.
Press through a strainer to remove
the pips if necessary.
2. Add natural yoghurt and mix together.
3. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl in the ice cream maker.
