How do I connect the Evolveo ANDBOX-Q4-4K to my TV?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the device to your TV's HDMI input. Then plug the 230V wall charger into the device to power it on.

Why is the device not turning on?

Check that the HDMI stick is properly inserted into the HDMI port and that the power adapter is correctly connected to a working outlet. Also ensure the power switch (if any) is on.

How do I connect to Wi-Fi?

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS'. Toggle Wi-Fi ON, select your network, enter the security key, and wait for connection. For best performance, keep the device within 6 meters of the router with direct line of sight.

How do I connect to a wired Ethernet network?

Go to Settings and select Ethernet. The device will automatically obtain an IP address if DHCP is enabled on your router.

How do I install new applications?

You can install apps from the Google Play Store, which is accessible from the home screen. Alternatively, you can sideload APK files using a file manager. Note that some Android apps may not be fully compatible with the TV screen.

How do I add widgets to the home screen?

Long-press on an empty area of the home screen and select Widgets. Choose a widget (e.g., clock, weather) and drag it to the desired location. You can also download additional widgets from Google Play.

Why is there no sound coming from the device?

Check that the sound is not muted on both the device and your TV. Ensure the audio cable or HDMI is properly connected. The media file you are playing might be damaged. Also verify the volume settings on your television.

What should I do if the Wi-Fi connection keeps failing?

Check your Wi-Fi router: ensure it is working and that the device is within range (ideally within 6 meters with direct line of sight). Test with other devices like a smartphone. If they connect, reset the network settings on the Android box or reduce distance to the router.

How do I update the firmware?

Firmware updates may be available from the manufacturer's website. Check ftp://ftp.evolveo.eu for the latest firmware. Installation instructions are typically provided with the update file. Note that using non-original firmware may void the warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty does not cover damage from improper use, unauthorized repairs, mechanical damage, force majeure, or broken warranty seals. For full details, refer to the warranty section in the user manual.

Wireless keyboard and mouse support

EVOLVEO AndroidBox Q4 4K supports 2.4 GHz wireless

standard for keyboard or mouse connected.

WiFi connection

Open the "Settings" icon. Scroll back up the left side menu until you've reached the "WiFi" tab under the "WIRELESS & NETWORKS" then flick the switch on the top right corner to "ON" and after a few seconds choose your wireless network, enter the security key, and wait for the device to connect to your home network.

LAN connection

Open the "Settings" icon and choose "Ethernet".

Note: Connecting this product to WiFi network requires its

location in the direct line of sight from most commonly used access points at a distance of not more than 6 m. WiFi signal strength indicator for this product is only informative. If any problems arise with connecting to WiFi network, reduce the distance between the device and the access point.

APPLICATION

Click on the top right corner on the EVOLVEO AndroidBox Q4 4K home screen. You will call up the list of the installed applications. You will run the chosen application by a short click. You can create a shortcut on the home screen by holding and move the application icon by drag and drop. For deleting it from the home screen move the icon by drag and drop it to the top part of the screen to the icon "Delete".

You can add the following types of items into the Home screen:

1. Applications: Adding the application links, web pages bookmarks, favourite contacts, localities on the Maps, Gmail name tag, Playlist and many other items. Available links depend on the installed applications.
2. Widgets: Adding any of the amounts of the different mini

applications (Widgets) to own Home screen, including the clock widget, audio player, photo frame, Google searching bar, the charging administrator, Calendar Informing about upcoming events and news and weather widget. You can also download Widgets from the web Google Play.

Settings

Settings provide individual preference setting functions.

EVOLVEO AndroidBox Q4 4K use the Android operating system, which is not fully adapted to the TV screen. For this reason, the quality and range of display some web pages with active content (Flash, Flash video, ActiveX, Java etc.) or the possibility of installing Android applications, is limited or impossible. Third party services may be changed without prior notice, removed or interrupted. EVOLVEO responsible for the availability of the services and content.

Troubleshooting

The sound can't be heard	Check if you haven't muted the sound; the play file that you want to play can also be damaged. Check volume settings in your television
The WiFi connection can't be made	Check your WiFi router. Make sure that you have the WiFi in your stick enabled. Try also other devices, e. g. Smartphone or laptop, if the problems with the access to your WiFi persist. If the connection is functional choose the same connection also for the HDMI stick. Check if you are in the Wi-Fi network coverage and if the configuration is correct
