Thank you for purchasing toaster 875G-R with pliers, an easy-to-use but reliable tool to toast more easily and facilitate the insertion and removal of toast. Before use, read all the instructions and warnings carefully and keep this user manual safe for future use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NORMS AND WARNINGS

When using electrical appliances, certain safety precautions should always be followed carefully, including the following:

- Please read the instructions of use and safety norms before using the appliance and follow these at all times. Keep this manual with the appliance for future consultation for all the product life. Failure to comply with the use and maintenance instructions provided in this user manual could lead to an accident and will invalidate all and any rights to the manufacturer's warranty.

- This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a TOASTER for household use and must not be used in areas for cooking reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other workplaces, on farms, by hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other professional environments and similar places. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.

- Keep all packing material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc..) out of reach

- After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.

- Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. The rating label is on the bottom of the product.

- During the first use, the toaster may emit a slight smoke that will disappear within 5-10 minutes. This is completely normal. Before using the toaster for the first time, it is advisable to put the appliance into operation for few minutes without inserting the bread inside.

- CAUTION: Temperature of accessible parts might be very high during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or special oven gloves.

• Do not use the product outdoors.
• Use only pre-cut bread for toaster.
• The use of small bread slices (size smaller than 85x85mm) might increase the risk of burn.

• Bread can burn, so do not use the toaster near curtains, upholstery or other fabrics, which could easily catch fire.
• Do not place the product near electric or gas cooker or heated oven.
• Do not use in the presence of flammable or explosive gases.
• Do not remove food from the toaster when the side lever is lowered.
• Only use the accessories provided.
• Do not use the product if it has fallen down or if there are visible signs of damage.
• Do not pull the power cable to lift, carry or remove the plug from the socket.
  • Make sure that the cable does not have knots or bends.
• Check the condition of the electric cable, damaged or knotted cables increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not use the plug or cord with wet or

OPERATION

1. Place the toaster on a flat, dry and stable surface out of reach of heat sources.
2. Place the bread into the pliers and then put the pliers into the toaster.
3. Plug the toaster to the socket, making sure the voltage shown on the rating label corresponds to the local mains voltage.
4. Set the browning level using the knob (D).
5. Press the Lever down (B). The lever will remain down until the bread is toasted.
6. If you want to stop the toasting process, press the STOP button (C), that will automatically delete the previous settings. Remove the toast using the provided pliers.
7. If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug it, wait for it to cool down, then remove the bread. NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE THE BREAD.

CLENANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until it has completely cooled down before proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance operation.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the toaster or pliers.
• Do not use spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the toaster.
• Clean the outside of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth, and polished with a soft and dry cloth.
  • After each use, wash the pliers by hand, using a normal dishwashing detergent, being careful to dry them well before storing them. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
  • After cleaning, wait few minutes to let the outer walls to be completely dry before using the toaster.
• All repair activities or other maintenance activities must be performed by an authorized service center.

CRUMB TRAY

The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray so that you can remove the crumbs easily. Always make sure the toaster is unplugged and cooled before removing the crumb tray. Clean the crumb tray with a damp cloth and dry completely before placing it back into the toaster.

OPIS PROIZVODA

ČIŠĆENJE I ODRŽAVANJE

• Prije bilo koje operacije čišćenja i održavanja iskopčajte uređaj iz električne mreže i ostavite ga da se potpuno ohladi.
• Ne uraniaite toster u vodu ili druge tekućine.
• Za čišćenie tostera ili hvataliki ne upotrebliavaite abrazivne spužve ili tkanine.
• Ne upotrebliavaite spreieve i ne nanosite deterdžente izravno na stijienke tostera ili unutar niega.
• Vanjsku površinu tostera očistite mekanom krpom navlaženom vodom i pažljivo osušite.
• Nakon svake upotrebe ručno operite hvataljke pomoću običnog deterdženta za pranje posuđa i pažljivo ih osušite prije odlagania. Ne upotrebliavaite agresivne ili abrazivne deterdžente.
• Nakon čišćenja pričekajte nekoliko minuta prije upotrebe tostera kako bi se vanjske stijenke potpuno osušile.
  • Sve popravke ili druge zahvate održavanja mora obaviti ovlašteni servisni centar.

PLADANJ ZA MRVICE

Toster je opremljen uklonjivim pladnjem za sakupljanje mrvica kako bi se mrvice kruha mogle lako odstraniti. Prije uklanjanja pladnja za mrvice uvijek provjerite je li toser isključen i ohlađen. Prije vraćanja pladnja za mrvice u toster očistite ga vlažnom krpom i potpuno osušite.
