How do I switch between CCT, RGB, and light effects modes?

Briefly press the Mode button [6] to cycle through CCT, RGB, and light effects modes.

How do I charge the Lumis Round RGB?

Use only the included USB-C cable and a power adapter with DC 5 V / 1.35 A maximum. Do not use quick chargers. The battery charges fully in approx. 3 hours.

What is the battery life?

Battery life is >2 hours at maximum power and >8 hours at minimum power.

Can I use this light for room lighting?

No, this device is intended for photo and video lighting only and should not be used for permanent room lighting.

What light effects are available?

There are 20 light effects including Police, Ambulance, Firetruck, Lightning, Fireworks, TV, Candle, Party, Bulb, Pulsing, Strobe, and more.

How do I adjust brightness and color temperature?

In CCT mode, push the adjustment wheel to toggle between color temperature and brightness, then turn to adjust. Color temperature range: 2500–9000 K, brightness: 0–100%.

Is the Lumis Round RGB waterproof?

No, it is not waterproof. Do not use in rain or wet areas, and protect from moisture.

How can I mount the light?

Before the First Use

Please read the operating instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the device for the first time. Keep the operating instructions together with the device for future use. If you pass on the device to a third party, this manual is part of the device and must be supplied with the device.

Intended use

This unit is designed for use as photo and video lighting only. It must not be used for other purposes and in particular not for domestic room lighting.

The following symbols are used in this manual, on the LED light or on the packaging.

Products marked with this symbol comply with all relevant community regulations of the European Economic Area.

Products marked with this symbol are operated with direct current.

Safety Instructions

1. Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the socket or the USB input corresponds to the information on the type plate on the back of the product.
2. Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the cable is defective.
3. Use only the charging cable supplied.
4. If the product or accessories are damaged, they must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
5. The housing must not be opened and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist. To do this, contact a specialist workshop. In the event of repairs by the user, improper connection or incorrect operation, all liability and warranty claims are excluded.
6. Do not insert any objects into the product.
7. Do not leave the product unattended during operation.
8. Protect the product from moisture. Do not touch it with wet / damp hands or submerge it in water.
9. This product is not waterproof! Do not use this product in the rain or in wet areas.
10. Do not open, damage, short circuit, bypass, or use the battery for any other purpose.
11. Keep the battery away from children and animals, open flames and liquids and do not expose it to temperatures higher than 50 °C. In addition, observe the information on caring for the battery in these operating instructions.

Safety Instructions

1. Do not use or store the device at high temperatures or in closed rooms with direct sunlight and do not charge the battery during this time. The product should no longer be used at ambient temperatures of more than 40 °C.
2. Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable gases or liquids, as this can lead to explosions.
3. Do not point the product at drivers of cars, buses, bicycles, motorcyclists, or train drivers while driving. The driver can be blinded and cause an accident. This also applies to persons or groups not listed if an accident could be caused by possible glare.
4. Do not point the product directly into the eyes of people or animals, as this can damage the retina, impair vision and even lead to blindness.
5. The device is not a toy. Keep the device, accessories and packaging materials away from children and animals to prevent accidents and suffocation.
6. Provide adequate ventilation during operation. Never cover the device.
7. If you sell the product to someone else, give up also pass these operating instructions on to this person.

Note: For lighting for photographic purposes only. Not suitable for permanent room lighting.

Precautions

1. Fully charge the battery, then disconnect the USB-C cable.
2. If the product has not been used for a long period of time, charge the battery before using it again.
3. To extend the battery life, you should charge the battery at least every three months.
4. This product has a built-in, rechargeable battery that has a specific run time. If this has been used for a certain period of time, the performance of the battery will be reduced. This is normal.
5. If the device is used in too cold or too hot ambient temperatures, the device switches off automatically.
6. Please have the product checked by an authorized service center if a problem occurs. You are not permitted to dismantle the product if it malfunctions. Otherwise your guarantee will be void.

You can switch the Rollei LUMIS Round RGB on or off using the on/off switch

Mode button [6]

Briefly press the mode button to switch between CCT (colour temperature), RGB and light effects modes.

Charging

The charging status of the battery is shown in the display [5]. During charging, the charging bars of the digital battery display change. The battery is fully charged when all the lights on the digital battery display are lit continuously.

• No quickchargers and/or superchargers may be used to charge the Rollei LUMIS Round RGB LED light, only power adapters with a maximum of DC 5 V / 1.35 A
• Please use only the USB-C cable included in the package to charge the device. Otherwise, there is a danger of fire or electric shock.
