- Use personal safety equipment: safety shoes S1, work wear, safety gloves (EN 388, class 3111) when working with or on the machine.

- Never go under a lifted vehicle, if you do not take additional safety measures such as supporting by jack stands, blocking the wheels etc., to avoid inadvertent rolling, slipping or tilting of the vehicle.
• Make sure the saddle sits steady under the vehicle. - For choosing the right vehicle lifting points recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, please take the vehicle handbook. Please Note: Wrong positioning of the floor jack may tilt or damage the vehicle!

WARNING
It is important to ensure that each machine has remaining risks. In the execution of all work (even the simplest) greatest attention is required. A safe working depends on you!
Even if the machine is used as required it is still impossible to eliminate certain residual risk factors totally. The following hazards may arise in connection with the machine's construction and design:
- Risk of injury (bruise) to the hands / fingers during operation.
- Note that working under a vehicle is very dangerous even if the vehicle is supported by the floor jack and secured by additional supports. Always be careful and observe throughout the jacking operation, if the saddle is fixed on the vehicle lifting point and if there are any possible movements.
These risk factors can be minimized through obeying all security and operation instructions, proper machine maintenance, proficient and appropriate operation by persons with technical knowledge and experience.
14 OPERATION
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport damage or missing parts. Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed immediately after initial machine receipt and unpacking before putting the machine into operation. Please understand that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.

- Turn the release screw counter clockwise to lower the jack. Once the jack is fully lowered, turn the release screw firmly clockwise to close it.
- Carefully position the saddle of the jack under the vehicle's lifting point. (See vehicle manufacturer's owner's manual for location of frame lifting point.)
- Pump the handle until the top of the jack's saddle has nearly reached the vehicle lifting point. Position the saddle directly under the vehicle's lifting point.
- Pump the handle or foot pedal until the top of the jack's saddle has nearly reached the vehicle lifting point.
• To lift the vehicle, pump the handle or the foot pedal of the jack. Use smooth, full strokes. - Once the vehicle is raised, slide a jack stand of appropriate capacity (not included) under a proper lifting point referred to in the vehicle owner's manual. Always use two jack stands, position them at the same point on each side of the vehicle

ATTENTION
Never work on, under or around a load supported only by a jack.
While working observe the saddle and the vehicle's lifting point of the vehicle to grant any movements.
14.3 Lowering
- Carefully remove all tools, parts, etc. from under the vehicle.
- Position the saddle under the lifting point. Turn the release screw firmly clockwise and raise load high enough to clear the jack stands, then carefully remove jack stands.
- Slowly turn the release screw counterclockwise (never more than 1/2 turn) to lower the vehicle onto the ground.
- Lower the Jack completely
If the lifting arm does lower completely, there might be air in the system.
Before using the floor jack next time, carry out bleeding process.
