IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance complies with all current safety regulations. The following safety tips are intended to protect the user from careless use and the dangers that may develop as a result.
- This appliance has been manufactured with the utmost care and has undergone a rigorous final inspection. However, as with any other electrical appliance, there is a possibility that problems may arise. In the event of smoke, intense heat or any other unnatural phenomenon, disconnect the appliance from the mains immediately.
- The mains plug or appliance plug is used to disconnect the appliance from the mains and should be easily accessible at all times.
- Only connect the appliance to power sources that comply with the specifications of the appliance. These can be found on the back of the unit and in the operating instructions.
- The mains socket should be close to the unit and easy to reach.
- Pull the mains cable out of the socket by the plug. Never pull on the mains cable itself, it could be damaged and cause a short circuit.
- When using a multiple socket, do not connect too many appliances to the multiple socket to avoid overloading.

Keep rodents away from the appliance to avoid damaging the cables.

To prevent injury, make sure that the power cord cannot be reached or unplugged by small children.
- Do not place the appliance near heat sources. The casing and the power cable could be damaged by the influence of heat.
- The screen is made of plastic that may chip if damaged. To prevent injury, carefully pick up any sharp-edged plastic fragments.
- When setting up the unit, make sure it is on a firm and level surface.
- To protect the unit from lightning, disconnect the unit from the mains and unplug the antenna. Warning: Do not touch the RF antenna connector.
- Disconnect the unit from the mains if you are not going to use it for a long period of time or if you leave it unattended.
- When setting up the unit, make sure that there is sufficient ventilation. Never place the unit near heat sources and do not cover any of the ventilation openings.
- Avoid direct sunlight on the unit. Keep a clearance of 5 cm (2") from the surroundings when placing on a shelf.
- Keep water or moisture away from the unit. Do not use the unit in wet or humid environments such as the bathroom, a steam kitchen or near a swimming pool.
- Do not use the appliance if moisture condensation may occur.
- Any repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Never open the appliance. Repairs that are not carried out by qualified personnel can be a possible cause of fire.
- Liquids spilled into the appliance may be a cause of serious damage. Switch the appliance OFF and disconnect it from the mains. Contact your dealer or customer service.
- Never remove the safety covers. There are no usable or serviceable components inside the unit. You would lose your warranty claim. The appliance may only be repaired by the manufacturer's service department.
- Never hit or shake the screen as this may damage the internal circuitry. Be careful with the remote control and do not drop it.
- Clean the unit with a soft cloth. Never use solvents or oil-based liquids. For stubborn stains, you can use a damp cloth with diluted detergent.
- Teach your children how to use the Internet and do not let them play with the device unsupervised. The company TV Grawe Service GmbH is not responsible for the Internet content shown.

- Please note that not all settings are available for all units.
HEADPHONE WARNING
Set the volume of the unit to a minimum before using headphones. A volume that is set too high can lead to hearing impairment / damage over a long period of time. Therefore, to protect your hearing, use a comfortable medium volume.
INSTALLATION SITE
Place the TV set on a stable and level surface (stand not included) or mount it on the wall in accordance with the operating instructions for the wall bracket. Avoid locations with direct sunlight. Soft, indirect light is recommended for pleasant TV viewing. To avoid damage to the set, place the TV set so that no objects can swing into the set. Make sure that you do not place any objects in front of the remote control receiver of the TV set. This will make it impossible to operate the unit with the remote control.

UNPACKING AND SETTING UP

Carefully remove the appliance and accessories from the carton and remove all packing material from the appliance. Check that the accessories are complete.

Check that the toggle switch on the device is set to On (I).
-
Connect the power adapter or car cable included in the scope of delivery to the appropriate power source and the device.
-
Insert the batteries into the remote control. Make sure that the polarity is correct.
-
Connect your satellite system, cable system or DVB antenna to the TV1 (satellite) or TV2 (DVB-C / DVB-T) connections.
-
Connect all other external devices (e.g. Blu-ray player, etc.) to the appropriate connections on the TV set.
-
The unit is now ready for use. The functions are explained on the next pages.

Note:
- If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent them from leaking and damaging the remote control.
To clean the unit, do not use any liquids or cleaning agents containing alcohol or thinner. For the display, we recommend LCD cleaner. Never spray the cleaner directly on the display, but first on a cleaning cloth and then clean the display. If the unit becomes dusty, wipe it with a soft, non-abrasive dust cloth.
MOUNTING TV STAND

- Place the TV set (A) on a level and lightly padded surface with the display facing downwards.

Insert the two feet into the device as shown in the illustration.

LED22iBT: The feet are attached to the TV set using the screws supplied.
- LED24iBT: The feet are plugged in. No screws are included in the accessories.

- Do not overtighten the screws. You could damage the screws or the thread.

REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control uses infrared waves (IR). Hold the remote control in the direction of the TV set. The remote control must be within range and at the correct angle to the TV set (8 metres / 60°). The following buttons are available on the remote control.

This TV is equipped with a CI+ slot and supports the following digital standards: DVB-T/T2HD, DVB-S/S2 and DVB-C
Common Interface / Slot
The CI slot (CI+) is designed to accept conditional access modules (CAM) and smart cards to access pay TV and other services. Contact your pay TV service provider for more information about modules and subscriptions.
Note:
- Conditional Access Modules and Smart Cards are sold separately.
- Switch off your TV before inserting CI+ modules into the CI slot.
- Then insert the Smart Card into the Cl+ module.

- Switch on the TV and make sure that "Live TV" is selected as the source.

When the CAM is detected, the following message appears on the screen: "CI module has been detected". Wait a few seconds until the card is activated.
-
Now select the desired pay-TV programme.
-
Detailed information about the Smart Card used is displayed in the configuration menu under the following menu item: All settings > General > Transmitter > CI information.

Press the OK key to OK the CI menu. Refer to the manual of the module for details on the settings.

When the module is removed, the following text is displayed on the screen: "CI module has been removed".

BASIC OPERATION
The unit is operated with the following keys. You will find a description of how to access the menu items on the following pages. In addition to this manual, an electronic manual for the menu items is integrated in the software of the unit. During operation, important notes or descriptions are shown on the display. These explain what is being changed or help to set up the unit.

Once you have connected the device and connected it to all devices, follow the next steps to carry out the initial installation of the device. Please note that a voice assistant for people with visual impairments is switched on in the first steps of the initial installation. However, this can be switched off during the initial installation. After you have switched on the TV set, you will be prompted to press the OK button.
1. Switch on the device
Press the toggle switch on the device and the power LED lights up red. Then press the power button on the remote control to switch the device on. The power LED flashes red and green alternately. When the device is switched on, the power LED lights up green.
2. Start initial installation
The display shows "Press the OK button on your remote". Press the OK button on the remote control to start the initial installation.
3. Language
Select the language and press the OK button. Then press the ▶ button to go to the "Next" menu item. Now press the OK button to move to the next menu item.
4. Country
Select the country and press the OK button. Then press the ▶ button to go to the "Next" menu item. Now press the OK button to move to the next menu item.
5. Audio instructions
After you have confirmed the country, a screen for the "Audio instructions" appears on the display. Select "Yes" if the menu items and entries should continue to be read aloud. Select "No" if you no longer want the menu items and entries to be read out. Now press the OK button to move to the next menu item. For the next item, follow either the instructions "Initial installation: Setting up on the TV" or "Initial installation: Setting up via app".
FIRST INSTALLATION: Set up on the TV
6. How to set up the TV
Select whether you want to set up the device using an app or on the TV set. Then navigate to "Next" and press the OK button to move to the next menu item.
• TV: The initial installation is carried out on the TV.
7. Internet connection
Now continue with the WLAN setting.
Note:
- If you have connected the device using a network cable or you do not want to connect the device to the network or want to connect it at a later time, navigate to "Skip" and press the OK button. Now select the WLAN connection to which you want to connect the device. Navigate to the network name and press the OK button. A keypad opens on the display. Enter the password and navigate to "Enter/OK" and press the OK button. The device is now connected to the network and you are taken to the next menu item.
Note:
- The keyboard is set to English by default. Navigate to the "ENG" field when the keyboard is open and press the OK button. The following settings are available for selection:
ENG: English keyboard (QWERTY)
DEU: German keyboard (QWERTZ)
8. Terms and conditions
Read through the General Terms and Conditions and press the OK button to move to the next point. "Select all" is highlighted. Press the OK button to select all. Navigate down to "More" and press the OK button again. The input field now changes to the "Agree" item. Press the OK button again to agree to the selected terms and conditions.
Note:
• If the general terms and conditions are not confirmed, the Internet content cannot be used.
9. User environment analysis
Now select how you want to use the TV set. "Select" is highlighted. Press the OK button to proceed to the selection. The following points are available for selection:
- TV only: A scan is performed during the initial installation. Follow the next points to carry out the search.
- None: The channel search function is skipped during the initial installation. A channel scan can be performed at a later time.
Once you have selected the usage type, press the ▼ button to go to the "Next" item. Press the OK button to move to the next menu item.
10. TV installation type for optimal sound settings
Select the way you have installed the TV set. Depending on the model, the audio settings may be set differently depending on the selection.
- Stand: You have installed the device using the optional stand.
• Wall-mounted: You have mounted the device on an optionally available wall bracket.
11. SW Automatic update
Deactivate or activate with the OK button to allow software updates to be downloaded automatically via the connected network / WLAN. The menu item is "Activated" in the initial installation. Then use the
▼ button to navigate to "Next" and press the OK button to move to the next menu item. If you have selected "None" at point 9, continue with point 13.
12. Programme Tuning
If you have selected "None" for point 9 "User environment analysis", skip this point and continue directly with point 13 "LG account". Select the connection how you want to receive the TV programme and press the OK button. The following options are available and recommended
• Antenna: Digital search only
You have connected a terrestrial indoor aerial, roof aerial or outdoor aerial to the "TV2" connection of the appliance. 5V voltage for active antennas is always switched on.
Cable: Other Operators >>> Full search >>> Blind search
You have connected your cable system to the "TV2" connection on the device.
Satellite: Other Operators >>> Blind search
You have connected your satellite system to the "TV1" connection on the device.
Then use the ▼ button to navigate to "Next" and press the OK button to move to the next menu item. The following setting options are available.
Note:
- For more information, see "Start channel scan" in this manual.
- A sorted channel list for satellite mode can be requested by e-mail and is available on our homepage.
- The 5V voltage for active DVB-T antennas is always activated and cannot be switched off.
- The channel list may vary depending on the settings selected.

13. LG Account
You have three options for connecting to an LG account or creating an LG account.
- Log in with the Mobile-LG ThinQ app: Scan the QR code from the display with your smartphone to install or open the app. Follow the instructions in the app to create a user account or log in.
- Log in with Mobile Web: A QR code and a URL link are displayed. Open the browser on your mobile device or PC/notebook and enter the URL. Follow the instructions in the browser and enter the code displayed on the TV.
- Log in to the TV: Follow the instructions on the TV to create a user account on the TV set or to log in.
Log in:
- Enter the e-mail ID and password.
- Navigate to "Log in" and press the OK button.
• You can now assign a nickname for how the device should be displayed in the user account.
Create:
- Accept the General Terms of Use by navigating to "Select all" and pressing the OK button.
- Navigate to "More" and press the OK button. The button will change to "Agree".
- Press the OK button again to confirm and move on to the next item.
- Enter your e-mail address, a password and your date of birth. Follow the instructions on the TV set for the next steps.
14. Installation the apps recommended by webOS TV
Select the apps that you would prefer to update / install for the initial installation. You can choose from the following: LG Channels, Joyne, Prime Video, Youtube
Navigate to the app and press the OK button. Then navigate to "Done" and press the OK button.
15. Initial installation completed
Once you have confirmed the previous menu item, the device switches to the Home screen. A message appears on the display asking whether you want to use the recommended app list or rearrange it. This can also be set at a later time. On the Home screen, you can install or open the apps, start LiveTV, select external devices and much more. You can find more information under "Home screen" in the instructions.
FIRST INSTALLATION: Setup via app
6. Setting up the television
Select whether you want to set the device using an app or on the TV set. Then navigate to "Next" and press the OK button to move to the next menu item.
• Mobile device: The device is set using a smartphone app.
A QR code is shown on the display. Scan this with your smartphone to install the app.
Once you have installed the app, open the app and create an account or log in with an existing account. Then click on the + symbol in the app. Now select "Add product".
You have the following options to add a device.
- QR scanning: Scan the QR code on the TV display with your smartphone. Now wait until the TV webOS name is displayed in the app and then click on "Add". A sequence of numbers is now displayed on the TV screen. Enter this on the smartphone.
- Select manually: Follow the instructions in the app.
7. Network connection
Select the network to which the TV set is to be connected, enter the password and press "OK".
8. Legal information
Read the legal information and then click on "Next".
9. User agreements
Read the user agreements and click on "Select all". Then click on "Agree". If you have not accepted the settings, the Internet content cannot be used.
10. Log in to the TV with your account
Select the user account to which you want to connect the device. Then click on "Log in".
11. Switch on the TV set via Wi-Fi
Activate or deactivate whether or not you can switch on the TV set via the app. This can lead to increased power consumption. The setting can also be made at a later time.
12. User analysis
You will now be asked to connect all external devices, your cable system, DVB-T aerial or satellite system to the device if you have not already done so. Click on "Next" to proceed to the next point.
13. The right way to watch TV:
Select how you want to use the TV set. The following options are available. Then click on "Next".
• TV only:
• I do not have a TV service: The search run is not executed.
The next points can be controlled using the remote control or the control panels in the smartphone app.
14. Television installation type for optimum sound settings
Select the way you have installed the TV set. Depending on the model, the audio settings may be set differently depending on the selection.
- Stand: You have mounted the appliance using the optional stand.
• Wall mounted: You have mounted the device on an optionally available wall bracket.
15. Auto-Update
Deactivate or activate with the OK button to allow software updates to be downloaded automatically via the connected network / WLAN. The menu item is "Enabled" in the initial installation. Then use the ▼ button to navigate to "Next" and press the OK button to go to the next menu item.

17. Installation of the apps recommended by webOS TV

GUIDE
Guide
Press the Programme Guide button to open or close the Guide menu. You will be shown channels and programme information (if broadcast by the channel).
The following menu items are available.
• Guide: Shows you the programme and programme information.
- Programmes: Shows the programme list with minimised programme information.
• TV cheduler: Shows the set programmes where a "reminder" or "recording" has been scheduled.
- Schedule reminder: The device will switch to the programme at the set time.
- Recordings: The recorded programmes are displayed here.
HbbTV
When you switch to a channel, the display will show messages such as "Restart programme (blue)", "Watch now (yellow)" and so on. You can press the corresponding coloured buttons to carry out the action.
Note:
- The type of insertion depends on the broadcaster and the programme.
- An Internet connection is required.
To start a recording, a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 1 TB must be connected to the device via USB. Please pay attention to the correct formatting. 1TB hard drives must be formatted NTFS. USB sticks cannot be used for recording due to their lower speed. The following options are available for recording.

PAIRING THE SMARTPHONE WITH THE TV
Download ThinQ App
- Press the INPUT button.
- Select "Home hub" and press the OK button.
- Now select "Connect mobile device" and press the OK button.
- Now select "How to use content on mobile devices on your ThinQ" and press the OK button
- Scan the QR code with the camera app on your smartphone and download the app.
Register app / create account
- Open the app and create an account or log in with an existing account.
Pairing the app with the TV set

Once you have opened the app, click on "Add a device". You have two options for adding a device.

QR Scan: Click on "Scan QR" and scan the QR Code screen with the app and click on "Add". A sequence of numbers is displayed on the screen. Enter this into the app. Follow the instructions on the smartphone to complete the registration. The smartphone can now be used as a remote control and you can transfer content from the smartphone to the TV.
- Select device: Click on "Select device" and click on "Next". Nearby devices are displayed at the top of the app. Click on "TV". A sequence of numbers is displayed on the screen. Enter this into the app. Follow the instructions on the smartphone to complete the registration. The smartphone can now be used as a remote control and you can transfer content from the smartphone to the TV.
Smartphone mirroring
Open the ThinQ app and select the TV device. The previous steps must already be completed.
- Select "Show the phone screen on the larger TV".
- Click on "Start transmission" on the TV, you can now select "Yes" or "No".
- Select "Yes" and press the OK button.
- The smartphone will now be transferred to the TV.
AirPlay
- Press the INPUT button.
- Select "Home hub" and press the OK button.
- Now select "AirPlay" and press the OK button.

Open "Screen synchronisation" on your iPhone or iPad and select the TV set.

A numerical code is now displayed on the TV. Enter this in the input field of your Apple device and click on "OK".

The devices are now paired and the picture from your Apple device is displayed on the TV set.
SIMPLE TROUBLESHOOTING
If the screen fails or there is a sharp drop in performance, check the TV using the following instructions: Also check connected devices to find the source of the fault. If the screen still does not work as expected, contact customer support.
1. No power
- Check that the mains adapter or the car adapter is connected to the TV set.
- Check that the toggle switch is in the on position.
2. No picture or no sound
- Check whether the mains adapter or the car adapter is connected to the TV set.
- Check the picture and sound settings.
- Check whether the antenna / cable system / satellite antenna is connected correctly.
- Change to another programme.
- Check that the connected devices (e.g. receiver) are connected correctly.
3. Poor picture quality
- Check that the antenna cable is connected correctly.
- Check the manual TV tuning of the TV channel.
- Change the picture settings: Brightness, colour, sharpness, contrast and hue. Make sure that the TV is not located near other electrical appliances that could cause radio frequency interference.
4. No colour
- Adjust the colour settings.
- Check that the selected programme is broadcast in colour.
• Make sure that the channel is tuned correctly.
5. The TV does not respond to the remote control
• Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the TV.
• Make sure the remote control is within reach.
- Make sure that the batteries in the remote control are not dead.
6. No voice input and no motion control possible with the Magic remote control (only when used with the Magic remote control).
To pair the Magic remote control again if the motion control or voice input does not work, follow the steps below.
- Press and hold the Home button and Back button for approx. 5 seconds until the Power button on the remote control flashes three times. A message appears on the TV screen that the connection has been disconnected.
- Now press the OK button to pair the remote control with the TV set. A message appears on the TV screen indicating that the remote control is connected to the TV set again.
7. No Internet content will be played back
- Check in the network settings whether the TV set is connected to your router.
- Check the settings of your router.
This TV is intended for household use and is classified as harmless with regard to electromagnetic waves. Therefore, you can use the unit in any location, including residential areas.

Thank you for choosing one of our products. Our products undergo precise quality control in the course of production. If one of our devices gives you cause for complaint, or you have questions about one of our devices, please call our customer support.
We give a 36 month warranty on TV and SAT devices, and a 24 month warranty on portable DVD and audio devices from the date of purchase. Outside of the warranty, we offer you a paid repair based on a cost estimate. Please contact our customer support before submitting.
The warranty relates to material and production defects. Your device will be repaired or replaced during the warranty period. Unfortunately, UltraMedia cannot reimburse the purchase price. Damage caused by improper use, the use of third-party accessories, falls, dust, water damage and signs of wear (e.g. scratches, optical wear and tear) caused by the customer or external influences are excluded from the guarantee.
In order to assert the warranty claims, send the device with all accessories, a copy of the invoice and the description of the fault to the address given below. Devices that do not have a proof of purchase cannot be guaranteed. Please do not forget to include your full address and a telephone number / email address for any queries.
Shipping to us takes place at your own expense. Unpaid parcels cannot be accepted and are returned to the sender.
Please pack the device securely for transport. UltraMedia assumes no liability for damage in transit that occurs on the way to us. After receiving your submission, we will process your device as soon as possible and send it back to you.
Before sending your device in, please contact our customer support or your specialist dealer, as many problems can also be solved over the phone.
