PLEASE READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION, OPERATION OR MAINTENANCE. PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS BY FOLLOWING THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE AND/OR VOID THE WARRANTY!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON SAFETY, POSITIONING AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNING!
A helmet has a limited lifespan and should be replaced as soon as signs of wear are visible. To ensure reliable protection, it is important that the helmet is fitted correctly and worn correctly. Please read the information in these instructions carefully and follow them at all times. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or, in the worst case, even death.

For maximum protection, the following instructions must be observed:
Use:
This helmet is an important piece of protective equipment and is only recommended for the following activities (see Figure 1). This helmet is not suitable for other activities (see Figure 2).
Attention:
Children should always remove their safety helmet before entering a children's playground! This helmet is not suitable for children when they are climbing or taking part in other activities where there is a risk of entanglement or strangulation if the helmet gets caught.
Optimum fit:
- The helmet should not be pulled down too far so as not to impair visibility.
- It should protect the forehead area. The helmet should therefore not be pulled too far over the back of the head.
- The helmet sits correctly when it is horizontal on the head.
To ensure that your helmet offers optimum protection, it must fit correctly. Therefore, try out different sizes and choose the one where the helmet fits snugly yet comfortably (see Figure 3).
BE COOL
Adjusting the straps:
To begin with, it is important to adjust the straps so that they run tightly and comfortably under the ears without touching them. The easy-to-use strap distributors on both sides, which have an optional fixation unit, help with this.
Before first use, the straps must be firmly locked with an audible click after adjustment to prevent unintentional adjustment and to lock into place. When adjusting the chin buckle, which must be closed before each ride, make sure that it is not positioned at the level of the jawbone.
Once the straps have been adjusted, the protruding ends can be secured with the strap clip.
If the straps are too long, it is possible to cut the ends individually and seal them with a match flame to prevent fraying.
Proper handling and care:
- Check the helmet regularly for visible defects.
- Do not modify the helmet or remove any original parts, as this may impair the protective effect.
- Do not use the helmet for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
- Replace the helmet immediately if it has been subjected to a severe impact, as the protective effect can be severely impaired even without visible damage.
BE COOL
- A bicycle helmet should be replaced at least every 4-5 years from the date of first use, depending on the degree of use and operating conditions. Due to unavoidable material fatigue, the helmet should be replaced no later than 8 years after the production date, even if there are no obvious defects.
- Do not paint or stick anything on the helmet, as harmful substances may impair its stability and protective effect.
- The helmet must not be exposed to heat above 60^ C ( 147^ F), as this could impair its protective properties.
- Clean the helmet shell, the adjustment ring and the removable inner padding by hand with lukewarm water, soft cloths and a solvent-free cleaner. This also applies to sunshades.
- Do not store the helmet behind glass, e.g. in a car (glass house effect), or near sources of heat or warmth.
- Only use original spare parts.
- Please contact your waste disposal company for information on the correct disposal of the product.
BE COOL
Limited impact protection:
No helmet can fully protect the wearer from all possible collisions. Its function is to absorb impact energy by partially destroying the shell and inner padding. This damage may not be immediately visible. Therefore, a helmet that has been subjected to a significant impact should be replaced, even if no damage is visible on the outside.
When used correctly, helmets can reduce or prevent many injuries. However, even low-speed accidents can result in forces that can cause serious injury or even death. The materials used in safety helmets are designed to deform on impact and absorb much of the energy. Sometimes this can lead to complete destruction of the material, transferring some of the absorbed forces to the head. In cases where these forces are strong enough, serious injury or death can occur. Since various factors play a role in every accident, it is not possible to predict how or when such injuries might occur.
Helmets are designed to protect against head injuries during normal cycling activities, e-scooters and are not suitable for other activities such as climbing, skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling or high-speed sports such as motorcycle racing or car racing.

COMMISSIONING
1. INSTALLATION
- remove the helmet and the remote control from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
- check the device for possible damage.
- charge the helmet and the remote control with the appropriate charger.
Operation
1. ADJUST HELMET
The safety helmet you have just purchased will provide protection whether on or off the road. To ensure proper use of this helmet, familiarize yourself with its features, fit and care by reading this manual carefully before wearing your new helmet.
Protection and ventilation:
The outer shell allows the helmet to be rated as one of the lightest helmets while providing excellent durability and integrity. The numerous vents with internal air channels channel air through the helmet and across the forehead for maximum cooling.
Upholstery adjustment:
The helmet must fit correctly to be effective. With a proper fit, the helmet should not slide back and forth or side to side while it is fastened. If the helmet does not fit with the pads installed, simply remove them and install a different size pad. To ensure the correct fit, you can mix and match the thickness of the pads to best fit the shape of your head.
fastening system:
Chin strap

This safety helmet uses a quick-release buckle that is easy to operate and can be closed and opened without changing the setting. The straps must be tight and evenly tensioned. Place the helmet firmly on your head and close the buckle.
Note which strap is loose. Tighten the loose strap after removing the helmet.
To tighten the chin strap, hold the buckle firmly with one hand. Then pull the excess strap through. (See diagram A).
To tighten the rear strap, pull out the excess strap from the back of strap 2. Hold the helmet firmly with one hand. With the other hand, hold the strap where it runs under your chin. Then pull from side to side to equalize the length of all four straps. (See diagram B)

BE COOL
The helmet must sit firmly and flat on your head. (See diagram C). To lower the front of the helmet and cover your forehead, tighten the chin strap and loosen the rear strap. To raise the front, loosen the chin strap and tighten the rear strap.

natural_image
Illustration showing a person wearing a helmet and another figure with a crossed-out circle (no text or symbols)To check the correct tension, put the helmet on and close the buckle. Open your mouth. You should feel the strap pulling against your chin.
Then try to pull the helmet forwards or backwards. If the helmet slips off, increase the strap tension and check whether thick pads are being used. The helmet should not be able to roll forwards or backwards excessively. It should not be possible to remove the helmet without undoing the buckle.
NOTE: Please check the setting every time this helmet is worn.

Final review
The most important thing is that the helmet sits firmly. If you can move it forwards or backwards, you must tighten the strap adjustment.
The straps should be positioned so that they do not cover the ears and the buckle is not on the chin when correctly fitted.
Buyers should always try different sizes and choose the size that feels secure and comfortable on the head.
It is important that the helmet sits firmly on your head and is put on to provide maximum protection.
All adjustments should be checked every time the helmet is worn to ensure that it is securely fastened at all times.
Caring for your helmet
Only clean the head protection with mild soapy water. The use of solvents, paints or stickers can damage the helmet and render it ineffective in the event of an accident.
Protect your helmet from extreme heat
The helmet will be damaged if it is exposed to temperatures above 150^ . Dark vehicles and storage bags can exceed this temperature on very hot days. Heat damaged helmets will have random deformed areas where the texture appears bubbled and uneven. Damaged helmets should be destroyed and replaced immediately.
Important information
This safety helmet is designed to absorb the energy of an impact through partial destruction or damage. Even if such damage is not visible, the helmet must be replaced if it is involved in an accidental fall.
Unfortunately, some accidents lead to head injuries that cannot be prevented by a helmet. Depending on the type of impact, even very low speeds can lead to serious head injuries or death. Always ride with extreme caution and read this manual thoroughly.

2. using the remote control
- Attach the bracket to the handlebars with the cable ties as shown in Figure 1.
- Switch on the smart helmet: Press the left, right or straight ahead button.
- Left turn signal: Press the left button if you want to turn left. The blinker on the left side of the helmet is switched on and automatically returns to straight display mode after 20 seconds.
- Blinker right: Press the right button if you want to turn right. The blinker on the right-hand side of the helmet is switched on and automatically returns to straight display mode after 20 seconds.
- Straight ahead: The button for straight ahead switches the lighting back to straight ahead status, i.e. no turn-off status. Use this if you want to cancel the turn-off status prematurely.
- Switch off: Switch the helmet off by pressing and holding the button for 2 seconds.
Note: If the helmet does not respond to button presses, a tiny red LED will flash near the button. In this case, please check whether the helmet and the remote control are not paired or whether the helmet has run out of power. The red LED near the button flashes during the charging process and goes out when the charging process is complete.

Technical line drawing of a mechanical component with labeled part 1 (no text or symbols on the diagram itself)BE COOL
The safety helmet is designed and intended exclusively for use when cycling and other non-motorized sports. It is not intended for use in motor sports or moped riding and does not offer sufficient protection in these cases. No helmet can protect the wearer from all unpredictable impacts. Nevertheless, the helmet must fit well and all straps must be securely fastened to ensure maximum protection.
It is dangerous to modify or remove any original parts of the helmet.
The helmet should not be adapted for the installation of accessories in a way that is not recommended by the manufacturer.
The helmet should be replaced after 3 years from the date of manufacture.
For the disposal of used helmets, please observe the local regulations for the disposal of waste products.
