Frequently Asked Questions - GN 2400 Nabo

How do I set the temperature on my Nabo GN 2400 freezer?
The temperature is controlled by a thermostat dial inside the freezer. Turn the dial to a higher number for colder temperatures. The recommended setting for normal use is medium.
Why is my freezer not freezing properly?
Check if the temperature setting is correct, the door is sealing properly, and the condenser coils are clean. Also ensure the freezer is not overloaded and has adequate ventilation.
How often should I defrost the freezer?
Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches a thickness of about 5 mm (about 1/4 inch). This typically occurs every 6-12 months depending on usage.
What is the proper way to clean the freezer?
Unplug the freezer and remove all food. Wash interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
How do I change the interior light bulb?
The model GN 2400 uses a standard E14 15W bulb. Unplug the freezer, remove the lamp cover, replace the bulb, and reattach the cover. If LED, contact support.
What should I do if the alarm sounds?
The alarm may indicate a temperature rise. Check if the door is open, the freezer is overloaded, or the power is interrupted. If the problem persists, contact service.
Can I use an extension cord with the freezer?
It is not recommended. The freezer should be connected directly to a grounded outlet. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, use a heavy-duty cord rated for at least 10 amps.
How can I save energy with my freezer?
Keep the freezer in a cool, ventilated area away from heat sources. Ensure the door seals are clean and tight. Defrost regularly and avoid leaving the door open for long periods.
What food can I store in the freezer?
