How do I perform the first-time installation?

Press the POWER key to turn on the TV. Use the navigation buttons to select Menu Language and Country. Confirm with OK. Then choose your reception type (DVB-C, DVB-T, or DVB-S) and follow the on-screen instructions to search for channels.

How can I connect external devices?

The TV provides multiple inputs: HDMI (with ARC), VGA, SCART, Component (Mini YPbPr), Composite (Mini AV), and a USB port. Use the INPUT button to select the corresponding source.

How do I use the CI+ slot for pay-TV?

Insert a Conditional Access Module (CAM) and smart card into the CI+ slot while the TV is off. Turn on the TV, select DTV source, and wait for the message 'CI module inserted'. Then choose the encrypted channel. Detailed settings can be accessed via the CI Information menu.

Can I play multimedia files from a USB drive?

Yes. Insert a USB drive (FAT or NTFS, up to 1TB) into the USB port. Press INPUT and select Media. Then choose Photo, Music, Movie, or Text. Supported formats include JPEG, MP3, AVI, MP4, and more (see manual for full list).

How do I set up the remote control?

Insert the two supplied AAA batteries into the remote. Point it at the TV's front panel. The remote uses infrared. If it doesn't work, check the batteries and ensure no obstacles block the signal.

What should I do if the TV does not find any channels?

Ensure the correct antenna or cable is connected. During first installation, choose the correct reception type (DVB-T for antenna, DVB-C for cable, DVB-S for satellite). For satellite, select Astra 19.2°E or your satellite. Try a full scan instead of network scan. For DVB-C, set LCN to Off.

How can I lock channels or set parental controls?

Go to the LOCK menu. Set System Lock to On. The default password is 0000. You can then lock individual channels via Channel Lock or set an age rating under Parental Guidance.

Does the TV support HDMI CEC?

Yes. In the SETUP menu, under HDMI CEC, you can enable CEC Control, ARC, and Device Auto Power Off. This allows the TV to control connected HDMI devices and vice versa.

How do I clean the TV?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and casing. Do not use water or cleaning solvents. Ensure the TV is unplugged before cleaning.

What is the warranty period?

Reflexion offers a 36-month warranty for TV and SAT devices from the date of purchase. The warranty covers material and production defects. Proof of purchase is required. Damage from improper use or external influences is excluded.

• Although this instrument has been manufactured with the utmost care and subjected to a rigorous final inspection before it leaves the factory, there is the possibility, as with any other electrical device, that problems may arise. Immediately disconnect the device from the mains in case of smoke, excessive heat or any other unnatural appearance.
• Ensure adequate ventilation of the device! Never place the device near or under a curtain!
• The mains plug or device plug is used to disconnect the device from the mains and should be easily accessible at any time.

SAFETY INFORMATION

- To prevent injury, be careful not to reach or pull out the power cord from a small child.

- The screen is made of plastic, which may flake off if damaged.

- To avoid falling, place the unit only on a firm and level surface.

- To protect the unit from lightning, disconnect it from the mains and disconnect the antenna. Warning: Do not touch the TV1 / TV2 antenna plug.

- For safety reasons disconnect the device from the mains if you leave your flat for a longer period of time.

- When switched on, the device heats up. To avoid overheating, never place covers or blankets on the device. Never cover the ventilation holes. Never place the device near sources of heat.

- Avoid direct sunlight on the device. Keep a 5 cm (2") clearance to the environment when setting it up on a shelf.

- Keep water or moisture away from the unit. Do not use the device in a wet or damp environment such as a bathroom, a steam room or near a swimming pool.

- Do not use the device if moisture condensation may occur.

- Any repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel.

- Never open the device. Repairs not carried out by qualified personnel may be the cause of a fire.

- Liquids that have entered the device can be a cause of serious damage. Turn the unit OFF and disconnect it from the mains. Contact your dealer or customer service.

- Never remove the safety covers. There are neither usable nor maintainable components inside the device. You would lose your warranty claim. The device may only be serviced by manufacturer.

- Never hit or shake the screen as this could damage the internal circuitry. Gently handle the remote control and do not drop it.

- Never place hot objects or directly flames in the immediate vicinity of the TV.

Headphone Warning

Set the volume of the unit to minimum before using headphones. If the volume is set too high, it can impair / damage your hearing over a long period of time. Therefore, to protect your hearing, use a comfortable room volume.

Installation location

Place the TV in a location without direct sunlight or strong light sources. Soft, indirect light is recommended for comfortable viewing. Use curtains or blinds/shades to prevent sunlight shining directly on the screen. Place the television on a firm and level surface. This is to prevent the television from falling down. Place the TV in such a way that objects cannot get into the set.

COMMON INTERFACE / CI - SLOT

This TV is equipped with a CI + slot and supports the following digital standards: DVB-T / T2HD, DVB-S / S2 and DVB-C

Common interface / SLOT

The CI slot (CI +) is designed to accept conditional access modules (CAM) and smart cards to access pay-tv and other services. Contact your pay-tv service provider for more information about modules and subscriptions.

Note:

- Conditional access modules and smart cards are sold separately.

Warning!

- Turn off your TV before inserting modules into the CI slot. Then insert the smart card into the module.

1. Turn on the TV and make sure source DTV is selected.

2. When the CAM is detected, the following text is displayed on the screen: "CI module inserted". Wait a few seconds for the card to activate.

3. Now select the desired pay-tv program.

4. Detailed information about the used smart card is displayed.

5. Press the [OK] key to enter the CI menu. See the module manual for details about the settings.

6. When the module is removed, the following text appears on the screen: "CI module removed".

1. Connect the supplied power adapter to your power outlet and to the [DC] input on the back of the device.
2. To turn on the unit, press the [POWER] key.
3. To turn off the power (standby), press the [POWER] key again.

FIRST INSTALLATION

First installation:

1. Press the [POWER] key to turn on the unit.
2. Use the [▲▼◀▶] buttons to select "Menu Language" and "Country".
3. Press the [OK] button to confirm the selection and move to the next menu item "Station search".

Cable reception (DVB-C)

1. For cable reception, set the menu item "Reception source" to "DVB-C".
2. Normally, nothing has to be set in the menu.
3. Setting "Network ID", "Frequency" and "Symbol Rate" is recommended only for experienced users.
4. If you have selected all the settings, press the [OK] key to start the automatic search.
5. When the scan is complete, the TV starts playing with the first station.

3. The menu items "Search Mode", "Network ID", "Frequency" and "Symbol Rate" are fixed and can not be adjusted.
4. If you have selected all the settings, press the [OK] key to start the automatic search.
5. When the scan is complete, the TV starts playing with the first station.

Note:

- It is recommended to set the "LCN" setting to "Off".

Satellite reception (DVB-S)

1. For satellite reception, set the menu item "Digital Type" to "Satellite".
2. Normally, nothing has to be set in the menu.
3. Confirm the entry with the [OK] key.
4. Now a query appears asking if the "Standard sender list" should be loaded?

• Yes: The "default channel list" (Astra 19.2° E) is loaded.
• No: The "Automatic channel search" is started.
5. When the "Auto Search" is completed or the "Standard Station List" is loaded, the TV starts playing with the first station.

Select	Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection.

Satellite unicable setting

1. Press the [Menu] key.
2. Use the buttons [▲ ▼ ◀▶] to navigate to the menu item "Sat configuration".
3. Confirm the entry with the [OK] key.
4. Press the [▶] button and select the [LNB Type] item.
5. Press the [OK] key and navigate to "Unicable".
6. Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection.
7. The following setting options are available.

LNB low	Enter the lowest LNB frequency. The setting can be found on your LNB
LNB high	Enter the top LNB frequency. The setting can be found on your LNB.
Channel ID	Enter the channel ID. The setting can be found on your multi-switch or LNB.
Frequency	Enter the Unicable frequency. The frequency can be found on your multiswitch or LNB.

CHANNEL MENU DTV (DVB-C/T)

1. Several channel-related menu items are available in the channel menu.
2. The available menu items depend on whether "Satellite" or "DTV" has been selected as "Signal source".
3. The following menu items are available for the "DTV" area.

CADTV Manual Tuning

The following menu items are available for the "DTV Manual Search".

5V antenna power

In this menu set the 5V voltage for active antennas "On" or "Off".

• On: A 5V voltage is output for active DVB-T antennas at the "TV2" connection.
• Off: The 5V voltage is off.

SIGNAL INFORMATION

This menu displays signal reception information for the selected reception type (Satellite, DVB-C, DVB-T).

• Satellite: Satellite name / Transponder / Modulation / Signal quality / Signal
  • DVB-C: Frequency / Network / Modulation / Quality / Signal
  • DVB-T: Channel / Network / Modulation / Quality / Signal

CI INFORMATION

Information about the inserted CI module and the corresponding card is displayed in this menu.

Note:

- For more information about the module or card, contact the vendor of the module and card.

PROGRAM EDIT

In this menu, you can edit the (Satellite / DVB-C / DVB-T) program list and adjust it to the desired station order.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".
2. Navigate to the menu item "Channel" and press the [OK] key.
3. Navigate to the menu item "Program editing" and press the [OK] key.
4. The following setting options are available.

Move (Yellow):

1. Select a station to be moved.
2. Press the [Yellow] button to select the station.
3. Navigate to the desired program slot.
4. Press the [OK] key to confirm the entry.

5. The transmitter has been moved.

6. Repeat steps "1-4" until the desired program order is reached.

Skip (Blue):

1. Select a channel to be skipped.
2. Press the [Blue] button to mark the station with a skip icon.
3. If the station is marked with the symbol, the station is skipped when switching over.
4. Repeat steps 1-2 until all channels to be skipped are highlighted.
5. To stop skipping a station, select a highlighted station and press the [Blue] button. The station is no longer marked.

Delete (Red):

1. Select a station to be deleted.
2. Press the [Red] button to delete the selected station.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 until all desired stations have been deleted.

Favourites (FAV):

1. Select a station to be saved as a favourite.
2. Press the [FAV] key to mark the transmitter with a heart symbol.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 until all desired stations are marked as favourites.

Open favourite list (FAV):

1. In TV mode, press the [FAV] key to open the Favourites list.

2. Select the desired station with the [▲▼] button and confirm the entry with the [OK] button to switch to the station.

3. To close the list, press the [EXIT] key.

Note:

- The list can not be sorted separately and receives the sort from the overall list.

PICTURE MENU

In this menu, you can make various picture settings.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".

2. Navigate to the menu item "Picture" and press the [OK] key.

3. The following setting options are available.

• Picture Mode / Contrast / Brightness / Colour / Tint / Sharpness / Colour Temp / MPEG Noise Reduction

Picture Mode:

1. Select one of the fixed picture settings.

2. To set the "Contrast / Brightness / Colour / Hue / Sharpness" values manually, select the "Picture Adjustment" "Personal".

3. The following settings are available.

• Dynamic / Standard / Personal

Note:

- The set picture modes can be changed in TV mode at any time by pressing the [PICTURE] button.

Contrast / Brightness / Tint / Sharpness:

• The values are fixed.

SOUND MENU

In this menu, you can make various sound settings.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".
2. Navigate to the menu item "Sound" and press the [OK] key.

Sound Mode

1. Select one of the fixed sound settings.
2. To adjust the Treble / Bass values manually, select the "Sound Mode" "Personal".

Treble / Bass

• The values are fixed.
• Can be adjusted only when "Sound Mode" is set to "Personal".

Balance

In this menu, adjust the speaker balance.

Example:

• If the option is set to "-50", only the left speaker is active.
• If the option is set to "50", only the right speaker is active.

Auto Volume Level

The menu item adjusts the volume differences between loud and quiet scenes.

Example:

- The volume difference between TV broadcasts and commercial breaks is adjusted.

SPDIF Mode

In this menu you set the format for the digital audio output "COAX".

The following setting options are available.

- Off / PCM / Auto

AD Switch

Set the menu item to "On" / "Off" to automatically enable or disable the audio recording of TV programs for the visually impaired.

• AD Switch: On / Off
  • AD Volume: Adjust the level for the audio recording.

Note:

- The audio description can only be played if it is transmitted by the TV station.

TIME MENU

In this menu, you can make various time-related settings.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".

2. Navigate to the menu item "Time" and press the [OK] key.

3. The following settings are available.

- Clock / Time Zone / Sleep Time / Auto Standby / OSD Time

Clock

The time is set automatically based on the transmitted data from satellite reception, terrestrial reception or cable reception. The setting can not be set manually.

Time Zone

Set the time zone based on the site. There are various options available.

Sleep Time

Set the "Sleeptimer" so that the device is automatically switched off after the set time has elapsed. The following settings are available.

The device automatically switches off after the time has elapsed, when the device was not operated (standby). The following settings are available.

• Off / 2H / 3H / 4H (In hours)

OSD Timer

With this menu item you can set the time after which the menu is automatically closed when no operation takes place. The following settings are available.

- Off / 5s / 15s / 30s (In Seconds)

LOCK MENU

In this menu you can make various settings.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".
2. Navigate to the menu item "LOCK" and press the [OK] key.
3. The following settings are available.
4. System Lock / Set Password / Channel Lock / Parental Guidance / Key Lock / Hotel Mode

System Lock

Set this setting to "On" or "Off" to access the "Channel Lock / Parental Lock / Keylock / Hotel Mode" settings. In addition, the menu item activates the password prompt for certain menu items.

LOCK MENU

Set Password

In this menu you can change the password.

Please enter old password	Enter the current password
Please enter new password	Enter the new password
Confirm new password	Enter the new password again to confirm the password
The password is now adjusted.

Note:

- Make a note of the new password.

Channel Lock

In this menu you can lock channels. The blocked channels are provided with a password prompt.

1. Navigate to the desired station that is to be blocked.
2. Press the [Green] button to lock the station.
3. The marked station is marked with a lock symbol.
4. Repeat steps "1-3" until the desired stations are locked.
5. If you no longer wish to lock a station, navigate to the station and press the [Green] button again.
6. The station is no longer locked.

Parental Guidance

In this menu you can set the value for the parental control query. The following choices are available.

• Off / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16 / 17 / 18

Key Lock

In this menu you can switch the lock for the control buttons on the device "On" or "Off".

• On: The operating lock is activated and the operating buttons on the device have no function.
• Off: The operating lock is deactivated and the operating buttons on the device work.

HOTEL MODE

In the hotel mode, you can set and lock various settings. The following settings are available.

Source Lock	With this menu item you can lock the "input sources".
Default Source	Select an "input source" with which the device should start when switching on.
Default Prog	Select a "start channel" with which the device should start when switching on. The setting is only possible if "Satellite, DTV or ATV" was selected as the "start source".
Default Volume	Set the "volume" which is set as default when switching on.
Max Volume	Set the maximum volume available for selection.
Import Database	Import the exported data from a USB stick to restore the previously set settings.
Export Database	Export the settings made and created the station list as a backup to a USB stick.
Clear Lock	With this menu item, you reset all the settings made in the hotel mode.

SETUP MENU

In this menu you can make various settings.

1. Press the [MENU] key to open the "Main Menu".
2. Navigate to the menu item "Configuration" and press the [OK] key.

TT Language

In this menu item you can adjust the character set for teletext.

In this menu item you can set the preferred audio language. You can set a primary and secondary audio language.

Subtitle Language

This item allows you to set the preferred subtitle language. You can set a primary and secondary subtitle language.

Hearing Impaired

Set this item On or Off to enable or disable the automatic display of the subtitle.

• On: Subtitle is automatically turned on
• Off: Subtitle is off

Aspect Ratio

Use this menu item to set the image format. The following settings are available for selection.

• Auto / 4:3 / 16:9 / Zoom1 / Zoom2

SETUP MENU

Blue Screen

With this menu item you can set whether the device displays a black or blue image when no signal is present.

• On: Blue screen
• Off: Black Screen

First Time Installation

With this menu item you can execute the first installation again.

Reset

With this menu item you reset the device to the factory settings. All settings made are reset.

Note:

- The password is not reset.

Software Update (USB)

With this menu item you can perform a software update. The software can only be updated via USB. For more information contact the manufacturer's service with the device type and serial number.

With this menu item you can set various CEC settings for the automatic "on" and "off" switching of the TV set. The following settings are available.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for choosing one of our products. Our products undergo precise quality control in the course of production. If one of our devices gives you cause for complaint, or you have questions about one of our devices, please call our customer support.

We give a 36 month warranty on TV and SAT devices, and a 24 month warranty on portable DVD and audio devices from the date of purchase. Outside of the warranty, we offer you a paid repair based on a cost estimate. Please contact our customer support before submitting.

The warranty relates to material and production defects. Your device will be repaired or replaced during the warranty period. Unfortunately, UltraMedia cannot reimburse the purchase price. Damage caused by improper use, the use of third-party accessories, falls, dust, water damage and signs of wear (e.g. scratches, optical wear and tear) caused by the customer or external influences are excluded from the guarantee.

In order to assert the warranty claims, send the device with all accessories, a copy of the invoice and the description of the fault to the address given below. Devices that do not have a proof of purchase cannot be guaranteed. Please do not forget to include your full address and a telephone number / email address for any queries.

Shipping to us takes place at your own expense. Unpaid parcels cannot be accepted and are returned to the sender.

Please pack the device securely for transport. UltraMedia assumes no liability for damage in transit that occurs on the way to us. After receiving your submission, we will process your device as soon as possible and send it back to you.
