Safety Instructions
Your system is designed and tested to meet the latest standards of safety for information technology equipment. However, to ensure your safety, it is important that you read the following safety instructions.
Setting up your system

Attention during use

LIVA P500 H610 computer supports Intel ® 14 th /13 th /12 th Gen LGA1700 processors. With Intel ® new performance hybrid architecture and UHD graphics 700 series integrated, the model computes performance along with the potential for powering AI deployment also can perform a reliable operation suitable for Office, Digital Signage, Kiosks, and other Multi-platform AI deployment.
Support up to three displays via one HDMI™ and one 1.4a Display and 1x VGA Port for display productivity and flexibility, It supports DDR5 up to 64GB per DIMM (Max 128GB), DDR5 5600 MT/s for i9/i7 &DDR5 4800 MT/s for i5/i3, 2.5" SATA III HDD, 3 independent displays. Dual channel SO-DIMM memories. It also can add additional storage from M.2 SSD.

About the Setup Utility
The computer uses the latest “American Megatrends Inc.” BIOS with support for Windows Plug and Play. The CMOS chip on the motherboard contains the ROM setup instructions for configuring the motherboard BIOS.
The BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) Setup Utility displays the system's configuration status and provides you with options to set system parameters. The parameters are stored in battery-backedup CMOS RAM that saves this information when the power is turned off. When the system is turned back on, the system is configured with the values you stored in CMOS.
The BIOS Setup Utility enables you to configure:
- Hard drives, diskette drives and peripherals
• Video display type and display options - Password protection from unauthorized use
• Power Management features
The settings made in the Setup Utility affect how the computer performs. Before using the Setup Utility, ensure that you understand the Setup Utility options.
This chapter provides explanations for Setup Utility options.
The Standard Configuration
A standard configuration has already been set in the Setup Utility. However, we recommend that you read this chapter in case you need to make any changes in the future.
This Setup Utility should be used:
- when changing the system configuration
- when a configuration error is detected and you are prompted to make changes to the Setup Utility
- when trying to resolve IRQ conflicts
- when making changes to the Power Management configuration
- when changing the password or making other changes to the Security Setup
Entering the Setup Utility
When you power on the system, BIOS enters the Power-On Self Test (POST) routines. POST is a series of built-in diagnostics performed by the BIOS. After the POST routines are completed, the following message appears:

Using BIOS
When you start the Setup Utility, the main menu appears. The main menu of the Setup Utility displays a list of the options that are available. A highlight indicates which option is currently selected. Use the cursor arrow keys to move the highlight to other options. When an option is highlighted, execute the option by pressing
Some options lead to pop-up dialog boxes that prompt you to verify that you wish to execute that option. Other options lead to dialog boxes that prompt you for information.
Some options (marked with a triangle ▶) lead to submenus that enable you to change the values for the option. Use the cursor arrow keys to scroll through the items in the submenu.
In this manual, default values are enclosed in parenthesis. Submenu items are denoted by a triangle ▶.

The default BIOS setting for this motherboard apply for most conditions with optimum performance. We do not suggest users change the default values in the BIOS setup and take no responsibility to any damage caused by changing the BIOS settings.

Updating the BIOS
You can download and install updated BIOS for this motherboard from the manufacturer's Website. New BIOS provides support for new peripherals, improvements in performance, or fixes for known bugs. Install new BIOS as follows:
1 If your motherboard has a BIOS protection jumper, change the setting to allow BIOS flashing.
2 If your motherboard has an item called Firmware Write Protect in Advanced BIOS features, disable it. (Firmware Write Protect prevents BIOS from being overwritten.)
3 Prepare a bootable device or create a bootable system disk. (Refer to Windows online help for information on creating a bootable system disk.)
4 Download the Flash Utility and new BIOS file from the manufacturer's Web site. Copy these files to the bootable device.
5 Turn off your computer and insert the bootable device in your computer. (You might need to run the Setup Utility and change the boot priority items on the Advanced BIOS Features Setup page, to force your computer to boot from the bootable device first.)
6 At the fs0:>prompt, type the Flash Utility program name and the file name of the new BIOS and then press
7 When the installation is complete, remove the bootable device from the computer and restart your computer. If your motherboard has a Flash BIOS jumper, reset the jumper to protect the newly installed BIOS from being overwritten. The computer will restart automatically.

Installing the Windows OS
Install Windows OS via USB flash drive.
a) Create an ISO file from the Windows 11 DVD.
This free program from Microsoft properly formats your flash drive and then copies the contents of the Windows 11 installation ISO file to the flash drive.
b) Boot from the USB device that you just created to start the Windows 11 installing process.

You need to change the booting priority in BIOS in order to boot from USB device. Enter into BIOS and select the Boot in menu (or press the hotkey F7), set USB drive as the first booting priority.
Manual Installation
Most drivers have a setup program (SETUP.EXE)
that automatically detects your operating system before installation. Other drivers have the setup program located in the operating system subfolder.
If the driver you want to install does not have a setup program, browse to the operating system subfolder and locate the readme text file (README.TXT or README.DOC) for information on installing the driver or software for your operating system.
Windows 11 OS Recovery
Windows 11 Recovery has basically 2 categories. Keep my files & Remove everything. Each types of recovery was defined by Microsoft, you can check their website “Reset my PC” section for further definition and recovery scenarios. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recoveryoptions
1. Select "Setting"

Once “Get started” was selected, there are 2 types of recovery mode will be presented.

Removes apps and settings, but keeps your personal files
Remove everything
Removes all of your personal files, apps, and settings.

Keep my files • Reinstalls Windows 11 and keeps your personal files.
- Removes apps and drivers you installed.
- Removes changes you made to settings
- Removes any apps your PC manufacturer installed. (if you PC came with Windows11, apps from your PC manufacturer will be reinstalled.)
Ready to reset this PC
Resetting will:
- Remove all apps and programs that didn't come with this PC
• Change settings back to their defaults
• Reinstall Windows without removing your personal files
This will take a while and your PC will restart.

Click "Reset" and start the recovery process.

Troubleshooting and problem solution
After assembling the motherboard for the first time you may experience some start up problems. Before calling for technical support or returning for warranty, this chapter may help to address some of the common questions using some basic troubleshooting tips.
a) Boot up failed.
- Use the specified adapter provided by ECS.
- Check whether the adapter has been plugged in.
- Check the connection between adapter and the system.
- Check that the power button can bu push normally. If it is successfully power on, the light from LED will show up.
- If the boot up problem still exists after these checking steps, please turn to local dealer or repair center for further customer service.
b) Black screen or no image is displayed on the monitor.
- Check whether the monitor has been turned on or works normally on other system.
- Check whether the system has been power on successfully.
- Check the cable is securely inserted into rear IO ports (DP/HDMI TM ) and also at monitor side (VGA/HDMI TM ).
- If the display problem still exists after checking steps, please turn to local dealer or repair center for further customer service.
c) Display Error
- Check whether the driver is correctly installed in “Device Manager”. If there is yellow mark or unknown devices message shown in the list, please reinstall the driver via ECS official website.

- Adjust the screen to the best resolution to get better using experience.

d) Wire LAN connecting failed.
- Check whether the LAN driver is correctly installed in "Device Manager". If there is yellow mark or unknown devices message shown in the list, please reinstall the driver via ECS official website.
- Ensure the LAN cable is securely inserted to the RJ45 port and the LED light flashes normally.
- Check IP address.
- If the LAN connection problem still exists after these checking steps, please turn to local dealer or repair center for further customer service.
e) Wireless LAN connecting failed
- Check whether the WLAN card driver is correctly installed in “Device Manager”. If there is yellow mark or unknown devices message shown in the list, please reinstall the driver via ECS official website.
- Check the WIFI in your working area is well functional and has good reception.
- If the WIFI connection problem still exists after these checking steps, please turn to local dealer or repair center for further customer service.
f) No sound from audio combo jack
- Check whether the audio driver is correctly installed in "Device Manager". If there is yellow mark or unknown devices message shown in the list, please reinstall the driver via ECS official website.
- After connecting the speaker or header phone, adjust audio setting in Control panel> Hardware and sound.

- If the audio problem still exists after these checking steps, please turn to local dealer or repair center for further customer service.
