How do I use the temperature control function?

Press the button (B) to cycle through preset temperatures (40°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C). The selected temperature indicator will light up. The kettle will automatically shut off when the water reaches the chosen temperature. Note that settings are canceled if the kettle is removed from the base.

How do I activate the keep warm function?

First, heat water to 100°C (boil). Then press and hold the button (A) for 3 seconds. The jug illumination will flash, indicating the function is active. The kettle will maintain a temperature between 85°C and 100°C for up to 2 hours, then turn off automatically. Removing the kettle from the base cancels the setting.

What do the different LED colors mean?

The illumination color corresponds to the selected temperature: 60°C: green, 70°C: blue, 80°C: yellow, 90°C: purple, 100°C: red. The kettle glows continuously during operation and flashes during the keep warm function.

How should I clean the kettle?

Allow the kettle to cool completely. Do not immerse it in water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For internal water stains, rub with a cloth moistened with white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly with water.

How do I descale the kettle?

For light limescale, fill the kettle with 0.5L of water and bring to a boil. Add 0.1L of white vinegar, let it stand overnight, then discard and rinse. For heavy scale, boil 0.5L of vinegar, leave for 30 minutes, boil again, discard, and rinse. Always follow with a water boil cycle to remove vinegar residue.

Can I boil other liquids like milk or soup?

No. This kettle is designed for boiling water only. Boiling other liquids can damage the appliance and void the warranty.

What should I do before first use?

Before first use, boil 2-3 full kettles of water and discard the water. This cleans the interior and removes any manufacturing residues.

Is the kettle safe to leave unattended?

No. Do not leave the kettle unattended while in use, especially when containing hot water. The appliance has auto shut-off when water boils, but to prevent accidents, always stay nearby during operation.

What is the minimum and maximum water level?

The minimum water level is 0.5L and the maximum is 1.7L. These levels are clearly marked on the water level indicator (6). Operating below the minimum may damage the heating element; exceeding the maximum may cause hot water to splash out.

How do I store the power cord?

Excess power cord can be stored inside the base (7). Make sure the cord protrudes through the special groove to keep the base stable on the countertop.

1. Connect the kettle only to a suitably earthed socket compatible with the parameters indicated in the instructions.

INTENDED USE

The IK1103 wireless kettle is intended for boiling water. It is fitted with the function of temperature control and hold (85 – 100°C). The capacity of the kettle allows to boil 0.5–1.7 l of water.

The maximum and minimum level of water is marked with the indicator (6).

OPERATION

All changes of settings are confirmed with audible signal.

- Place the base of the appliance (7) on flat, stable and dry surface.

- Excess cord may be kept inside the base. Make sure that the cord protrudes from the base (7) through the special groove to have the appliance stable.

Boil water 2-3 times and discard before the first use of the kettle.

- Fill in the appliance after opening the cover (2).

Do not fill in the kettle while on the base

• The kettle will be activated after pressing the button (A).
• Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (8).
• The kettle will be automatically turned off when the water is boiled.
• The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The kettle allows to warm up water to the pre-set temperature.

• To select the required temperature of water (40°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C), press the button (B) to cause illumination of the relevant indicator on the panel (4).
  Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (8). Illumination color depends on the selected temperature.

- When the preset temperature is reached, the kettle will turn off.

Note. Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

- The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

TEMPERATURE HOLD

Maintaining the temperature is only possible if the water has been heated to 100° C.

• Press the button (A) and hold it for 3 seconds.
• Activation of the function will be signalled with flashing illumination of the jug (8).
• The kettle will hold the temperature (85-100°C) for 2 hours, and then it will automatically turn off.

Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up.
• The outside of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid.
• Water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white vinegar; rinse the inside with water afterwards.
• Limescale should be removed in the following way:
• Fill the kettle with 0.5 litre of water and bring it to boil.
• Switch the kettle off and disconnect the kettle from the power supply.
• Pour 0.1 litre of white vinegar into the kettle.
• Allow to stand overnight.
• Discard the solution and rinse the inside with water.
• Fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring to boil.
• Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.

- If the scale is persistent, the cleaning should be done in the following way:

• fill the kettle with 0.5 litre of white vinegar.
• Bring the vinegar to boil and leave the hot solution inside the kettle for about 30 minutes.
• Bring the vinegar to boil again.
• Discard the vinegar and rinse the inside with water.
• Fill the kettle with 1.0 litre of water and bring it to boil.

• Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.

• No timely removal of the scale from the heating element results in the heating element's quicker wear.

• Any damage resulting from applying harsh descalling products available in the market are not covered by the producer's warranty.
• If the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one (with appropriate plugs and endings).
