How do I assemble the fan?

Insert the outer tube into the base and tighten the base screw. Adjust the height using the adjustment ring. Attach the rear grille to the motor, secure with the nut. Install the fan blades, then the front grille, and tighten the wreath screw. Refer to the manual for detailed steps.

How to set the timer on the IZ-9042?

While the fan is on, press the Timer button repeatedly to select 1 to 7 hours. The corresponding indicator lights will illuminate. The fan will automatically turn off after the set time. To cancel, press the Timer button until all lights turn off.

What are the different modes (Normal, Nature, Sleep)?

Normal: constant speed at your chosen setting. Nature: alternates between normal operation and brief stops to simulate natural breeze. Sleep: automatically increases and decreases speed for comfort during sleep.

How do I clean the fan?

Switch off and unplug the fan. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the body and grilles. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the fan in water. Keep the rear air outlets clean for proper airflow.

Can I use the fan outdoors?

Why is my fan not oscillating?

Press the Swing button on the control panel or remote control. The Swing indicator light should turn on. If it still doesn't oscillate, check if the fan head is properly assembled and not obstructed.

What should I do if the remote control stops working?

First, replace the batteries. Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the fan. If it still doesn't work, contact an authorized BENRUBI service center. The control panel on the unit can be used as an alternative.

Is it safe to leave the fan unattended?

No, never leave the fan unattended while operating. Always turn off and unplug when not in use, especially when children or pets are nearby.

How do I adjust the height of the fan?

Loosen the height adjustment ring on the outer tube, slide the inner tube to the desired height, then retighten the ring securely.

What does the warranty cover?

Fan Assembly

Remove the packaging.

Motor assembly

1. Install the rear fan grille (6) on the motor shaft (7) and securely fasten the rear grille support nut (5).
2. Fit the blades (4) and fasten the blades support nut (3).
   CAUTION: The blade support nut bolts counterclockwise.
3. Place the grilles' wreath (2) without screwing in. Make sure the screw is at the bottom.
4. Install the front fan grille (1) and tighten the wreath's screw.

1. Place the support tube (14) at the reception of the base (15) and tighten securely the nut at the bottom of the base.
2. Place the height adjustment (13) and tighten at the desired height.
3. Insert the upper part of the fan at the support tube (14) and screw tightly the support screw.

Using the Fan

CAUTION:

• Before use, make sure that all parts of the device are properly assembled and that there are no parts that have been damaged.
  • Always place the device on a flat, dry and stable surface. There is a risk of damage if it is not installed on a flat and level surface.

• Plug in the appliance.

• Press the "ON/SPEED" button (19) on the control panel or the "ON/SPEED" button (24) on the remote control.
• Select the desired speed by pressing consecutively the "ON/SPEED" button (19) on the control panel or the "ON/SPEED" button (24) on the remote control. The speed indicator lights (1, 2, 3) will turn on. The fan has 3 speed options:

1 - Low speed
2 - Medium speed
3 - High speed
4. Set the mode (oscillating or static) by pressing the "SWING" button (22) on the control panel on the "SWING" button (27) on the remote control. The "SWING" indicator light (22) will turn on for oscillation or will turn off for static.

1. Adjust the desired angle by moving the head up or down respectively.
2. Press the "MODE" button (20) on the control panel or "MODE" button (25) on the remote control to select the function of your choice.

The fan has 3 functions:

NOR (NORMAL): The fan runs normally at the speed you have selected. The “NOR” indicator is on. NAT (NATURE): The fan will start operating normally, then stop for a few seconds and then continue operating normally. The “NAT” indicator is on.

SLP (SLEEP): The fan will increase and decrease the speed consecutively. The “SLP” indicator is on.

1. Press the "OFF" button (23) on the control panel or the "OFF" button (29) on the remote control to stop the operation.
2. Disconnect from the power outlet when not in use.

1. While the fan is on, press consecutive the “TIMER” button (21) until the desired time is selected and the corresponding indicator lights (18) illuminate on the control panel. The timer settings range from 1 to 7 hours (with an 1 hour setting).
2. When the time you set is complete, the fan will stop working automatically.
3. Unplug when not using the fan.

1. When the fan is on, press consecutively the “TIMER” button (26) until the desired time is selected and the corresponding indicator lights (18) illuminate on the control panel. The timer settings range from 1 hour to 7 hours (with an 1 hour setting).
2. When the time you set is complete, the fan will stop working automatically.
3. Unplug when not using the fan.

Note:

If you want to stop the timer earlier than the selected time, press consecutively the "TIMER" button (21) on the control panel or the "TIMER" button (26) on the remote control until all the indicator lights (21) turn off.

Care and Cleaning

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Do not disassemble the fan to clean it.
• At regular intervals, clean the main body of the appliance with a soft cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal brushes or sponges for cleaning and do not immerse the appliance in water.
• To ensure that the air circulates properly on the motor, keep the air outlets at the rear of the motor clean.

Storage

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before storing it.
• Store the appliance in a dry place without humidity.
• Before using the appliance for a long time, make sure it is clean and dry.
• Store the appliance where it is not reachable by children.
