Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read these instructions manual carefully and keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct operation, do not use if:
- It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance should not be used for other purposes than the ones intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as any manual modifications to the product will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.

In case of malfunction, take your appliance to the Customer Support Service for assistance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case, please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Customer Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product, use a dry soft cloth only.

Before use, clean all the appliance parts that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning section.
- This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Blades are sharp and could cause harm; be careful and avoid direct contact with the blades' cutting edges.
- Pay special attention when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operations, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply if it is left unattended and before changing accessories or approaching moving parts when in use, assembling, disassembling and cleaning.
- If the connection to the outlet has been damaged, it must be replaced. Take the appliance to the Customer Support Service. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself in order to avoid a hazard.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the power supply voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to an outlet that can supply a minimum of 10 amperes.
- The appliance's plug must fit properly into the outlet. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
- Keep the working area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.

- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- If any of the appliance casing breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the outlet to prevent the possibility of an electric shock.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or when barefooted.
- Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift, carry or unplug the appliance.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.

Before using the appliance ensure that the blade is properly fixed in place.

Exercise precaution after stopping the appliance as the blade(s) will continue moving from the effect of its own mechanical inertia.

Use and care:

- When using hot liquids do not fill the cup more than half way. At all times, when mixing hot liquids in the cup, select the slowest speed on the speed selector.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or disabled people.
- Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures.
- Keep the appliance in good condition. Check that the moving parts are not misaligned or jammed and make sure there are no broken parts or anomalies that may prevent the appliance from operating correctly.

- Use the appliance, its accessories and tools in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. To use the appliance for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the appliance's useful life.
- Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute at a time. In case of operate in cycles; allow the appliance a resting period of at least 1 minute between each cycle. Under no circumstances should the appliance be operated for more time than necessary.
- As a reference, the annexed table shows several recipes, that include the amount of food to process, the recommended operating time to elaborate each recipe, as well as the time of maximum operation of the appliance under each one of these conditions of load.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.
- Do not use the appliance with frozen goods or those containing bones.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.

If your appliance's model does not have the accessories described above, they can be bought separately from the Customer Support Service.
Accessories
Blender foot accessory (Fig. 1)
- This accessory is used for sauces, soups, mayonnaise, milkshakes, baby food ...
- Attach the blending rod onto the motor body and turn in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1).
- Put the food to be prepared in the cup and switch the appliance on.
- For further cleaning, detach and remove the stick by turning in the opposite direction of the arrow (Fig. 1).

2.2. Product usage
Before using the appliance for the first time:
- Make sure that all the appliance's packaging has been removed.
- Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use.
Before using the appliance:
- Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the outlet.
- Turn the appliance on, by pressing the on/off button.
- Select the appliance's desired function.
- Select the desired speed.
• Work with the food you want to process.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Stop the appliance by releasing the on/off button.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
- Put the cable back in the cable housing.
- Clean the appliance.

2.3. Maintenance
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth and a few drops of liquid detergent and then dry it clean.
- Do not use solvents or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products to clean the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
- During the cleaning process, take special care with the blades, as they are very sharp.
- It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains.

- If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance's useful life and could become unsafe to use.
- The appliance is suitable for cleaning in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher (using a soft cleaning program).
- The following pieces may be washed in a dishwasher (using a soft cleaning program):
- Blender foot
- Cup
- The draining/drying position of the articles washable in the dishwasher or in the sink must allow the water to drain away easily.
- Dry all parts before its assembly and storage.

Becken has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Customer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.
All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could go wrong can help prevent problems from occurring.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment, we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
