3. Important instructions for use
- Only suitable for incandescent lamps and dimmable LEDs
• The maximum switching capacity is 300 W - The unit is only suitable for indoor use
- Please plug only into approved sockets, not into extension cables
- Do not plug in one after the other
• Voltage-free only when the plug is disconnected - Use the unit only when dry
- Do not exceed the specified maximum electrical power.
- Please do not use for consumers with motor capacitor (e.g. refrigerator etc.)

4. Functions
The Bearware socket dimmer offers you the possibility to individually adjust the brightness of incandescent lamps. The dimming can be conveniently controlled via the remote control and works with most incandescent lamps and dimmable LEDs that have an output of up to a maximum of 300 watts.
5. Commissioning
Take the product from its packaging and remove any packing material. Connect the light bulb or dimmable LED whose brightness is to be controlled by the dimmer to the unit. Then plug the dimmer into a properly installed earthed socket. Pull the plastic tab out of the remote control before using the unit.
6. Teaching remote control
- Plug the socket dimmer into the socket.
- Place the remote control near the dimmer and press and hold the „ON/OFF/CODE DIMMER“ button on the socket dimmer until the dimmer's LED flashes slowly.
- Then press the desired ON button on the transmitter to assign the unit.
- Once the unit has been successfully paired, the LED of the connected receiver flashes twice, the code is confirmed and the LED stops flashing. The unit is then ready for operation.
7. Operating
Remote control
Please press the remote control key ON to switch on the unit.
Please keep the remote control key ON pressed until the desired brightness is reached. If you press the remote control key OFF, the unit is switched off again.
Controlling several units with one remote control
You can control 2 different devices with the remote control. To do this, connect the remote control to other end devices.
CAUTION! It is not recommended to set ON/OFF receiver and dimmer receiver to the identical control button on the transmitter or to set more than 1 dimmer receiver to the same control button.
Clear code memory
Press and hold the „ON/OFF/CODE DIMMER“ button until the LED flashes continuously. Then release the button and press it again. The lamp of the connected receiver will flash twice for confirmation.
8. Warranty
The manufacturer grants a warranty of two years on this product with regard to workmanship and materials. Repairs may only be carried out by an authorised customer service. The original sales receipt must be enclosed as proof. The following are excluded from this warranty: normal wear and tear, modifications, reworking, damage due to carelessness, external influences, areas of application for which the product is not designed or completely or partially dismantled products.
9. Safety instructions and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.
10. Disposal instructions
Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inflict sustained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly.
