3. NOTE ON DEEP DISCHARGE
ATTENTION!: Note on deep discharge of the battery
The life and performance of a battery depends on its age, care and how often it has been used. Compared to other battery models, lithium-ion batteries have a very low self-discharge rate and therefore need to be charged periodically.
Even if you do not use your Balance Board, the battery must be charged for at least 2 hours every 2 months, otherwise it will lose capacity. Regular charging protects the battery from deep discharge.
Please note that a deeply discharged battery is irreparably damaged and must be replaced at the customer's expense. For this reason, the battery should never be completely discharged, even during operation!

Please observe the weight and speed limits for your own safety.
Never exceed or fall below the limits specified in this manual.
Weight Limit:
Maximum weight: 70kg
Minimum weight: 30kg
Speed limit:
Maximum speed in conventional operation: 12 km/h
6.3 RANGE
Below are some factors that affect the range of the balance board.
The terrain: A smooth, flat surface will increase the range of the Balance Board, while a ride with incline and/or uneven surfaces will decrease the range.
The weight: The weight of the user affects the range. A person with a lower weight will achieve a higher range than a person with a higher weight.
Speed and riding style: Maintaining a moderate speed will have a positive effect on the Balance Board's range. Riding at high speed for an extended period of time, frequent starting, frequent stopping, frequent acceleration and deceleration, on the other hand, will reduce the range of the Balance Board.
NOTE!
Depending on the situation, the Balance Board can cover a distance of 8 km with a fully charged battery.

7. COMMISSIONING
7.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
ATTENTION! Fully charge the device before using it for the first time.

WARNING!
Charge the device after each ride to prevent deep discharge.
Please note the following when charging the Balance Board:
- Make sure that the rated voltage of the Balance Board matches the local voltage ratings, otherwise the Balance Board may be damaged. (100V \~ 240V; 50-60Hz).
- Plug the power cord into the charger and connect it to the mains the → light on the charger will illuminate GREEN
- Before plugging the power cord into the Balance Board, make sure that the charging port on the bottom of the board is clean and, most importantly, dry, otherwise you may get an electric shock.
- While the unit is turned off, plug the power cord into the charger socket the → light on the charger will turn RED indicating that the Balance Board is charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the light on the charger will turn GREEN.
- Then disconnect both the plug from the Balance Board and the power supply.
NOTE!
The average charging time battery is about 4 hours depending on the discharge of the battery.

WARNING!
Avoid overcharging the battery, as it could overheat due to the permanent current charge and even explode in the worst case.

WARNING!
Charge the Balance Board only with the supplied charger and power cord.
7.2 TIPS FOR CORRECT BATTERY HANDLING
- Never remove the battery from the Balance Board.
- When you are not using the Balance Board, charge the battery for 2 hours at least every 2 months.
- It is best to store the battery at 7-15°C room temperature and in a dry environment, this reduces self-discharge.
- Never heat the battery or throw it into an open fire.
• Never dispose of the battery cells in the household waste. - Never allow the battery contacts to come into contact with moisture.
- The best operating temperatures for the battery are between 10-30°C. Above and also below this, the power output deteriorates, this leads to a reduced range.
- Please note that in hot weather conditions, do not store the Balance Board in a parked car for extended periods of time. The heat could endanger the battery and cause a fire.
7.3 BATTERY INDICATORS
Please pay attention to the display on the Balance Board which shows the battery status:
Battery indicator on the Balance Board will show green color as long as there is sufficient power on the battery to drive.
Battery indicator on the Balance Board will show red color when battery power is down (15-20% left) and you will you need to stop driving and start to recharge the Balance Board.
Battery indicator on the hoverboard will show RED and have WARNING ALARM SOUND when battery power has run out and you must stop driving immediately. The hoverboard will now shut down without further notice and the hoverboard will then loose balance.
BE COOL

WARNING!
As soon as the indicators light up red, stop driving immediately. The lack of electricity can lead to loss of balance and, as a result, accidents.
7.4 CALIBRATION
The Balance Board is delivered already correctly calibrated - however, it can happen that the Balance Board makes an asymmetrical impression after some time. The Balance Board then feels during the ride as if it does not implement the movement correctly.
This can be remedied by balancing the balance board as follows:
- Place the device flat on the floor and align it parallel to the floor.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button until you hear a beep, followed by a repeating audible warning signal.
- The board now calibrates itself.
- Now switch off the instrument by pressing the ON/OFF button again to save the calibration.
7.5 PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS
If a malfunction occurs during operation, the Balance Board will respond in a variety of ways, including stopping operation, alarm displays, and beeps.
These reactions and malfunctions can be the following:
• The alarm indicator lights up and a beep is heard:
- if the Balance Board is tilted more than 10 degrees forward or backward
• if you reach too high a speed
• when the battery level is too low
• The device switches off automatically after 15 seconds:
- when the battery is too weak and reaches a certain protection value
- The device switches off immediately:
• if the board is tilted more than 35 degrees forward or backward
- if the battery is excessively discharged for more than 15 seconds (such as during long uphill climbs)
BE COOL

WARNING!
As soon as the alarm indicator lights up or a signal tone sounds, we recommend:
• to reduce the speed
• to change the way of driving
- check the display of the battery
Do not ignore the alarm indicator or the beep, as the Balan-ce Board may automatically shut down due to the protective function, and the sudden and abrupt stop could lead to accidents.
8. RIDING WITH THE BALANCE BOARD

9. TIPS FOR CORRECT DRIVING
Avoid collisions of any kind to prevent falls and injuries.
Adjust the speed to your riding ability. The initial speed should be max. between 3-5km/h. If it cannot be avoided and you have to drive over an obstacle, bend your knees when driving over it so that you do not lose your balance in the run-off zone.
The Balance Board is water resistant but not waterproof - so avoid riding through puddles, on wet surfaces or in the rain.
When driving through obstacles, be careful not to hit your head.
When driving through doors, make sure that the Balance Board is not wider than the door. Also pay attention to door thresholds and the height of the door frame to avoid collisions.
Avoid driving on inclines or declines of more than 15^ , as the Balance Board could otherwise lose stability.
Avoid heavy acceleration or braking.

BE COOL
The operation by 2 persons or the transport of passengers is prohibited.
Avoid driving over steps or stairs.
Abrupt pendulum movements are prohibited.

natural_image

Cleaning
Only use a soft and damp cloth for basic cleaning of the BalanceBoard.
Dirt that cannot be removed in this way can be removed with a plastic polish or warm soapy water.
Never use alcohol, benzene, acetone or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents that attack the plastic surface. These substances can damage the appearance and the outer structure. Never clean the Balance Board with a strong water jet or high- pressure cleaner.
Make sure that the Balance Board is turned off and the charging cable is unplugged before you start cleaning, otherwise you risk electric shock or damage to the Balance Board.
Storage
Store the Balance Board in a dry and cool place.
Do not store outdoors.
BE COOL
Exposing the Balance Board to sun, hot or cold environment will especially accelerate the aging of the plastic surfaces and reduce the battery life.
Battery
A well-maintained battery can continue to perform well even after many miles. Charge the battery after each ride and avoid driving the battery „empty“. Please note that the performance of the battery continuously decreases at low or very high temperatures.
If the battery is deeply discharged, the cells are irreparably damaged.
Damage caused by incorrect handling is not covered by the warranty.
Removing or opening the battery is prohibited.
