How do I pair the transceiver with a Bluetooth headphone in TX mode?
Connect the transceiver to your TV/computer via optical or AUX cable. Set the TX/RX switch to TX. Slide and hold the multifunction switch to the right (Bluetooth symbol) until LED flashes red/blue or red/green. Put your headphone in pairing mode within 1 meter. Once paired, LED becomes solid blue (optical) or green (AUX).
How do I pair the transceiver with a smartphone in RX mode?
Connect the transceiver to your audio system via optical or AUX cable. Set TX/RX switch to RX. Slide and hold multifunction switch to the right until LED flashes red/blue or red/green. Turn on Bluetooth on your device and select 'InLine BT Transceiver' from the list. LED becomes solid when paired.
Why is the transceiver not turning on?
Ensure the Micro USB cable is connected to a powered USB port or adapter and the TX/RX switch is set to TX or RX. The blue LED should pulse slowly when on. If not, try a different USB source.
No sound from my Bluetooth headphone after pairing in TX mode.
Check that the audio source (TV/computer) is connected to the correct input (AUX or optical) on the transceiver. Use the multifunction switch to select the matching input. Ensure the audio source is playing and volume is not muted. Also check headphone volume.
No sound from my audio system after pairing in RX mode.
Verify that the audio system input is connected to the transceiver output (AUX or optical). Use the multifunction switch to select the correct output. Check volume settings on your device and audio system. Ensure nothing else is plugged into the same output.
How can I reduce audio delay (latency)?
Use Bluetooth headphones that support aptX low latency for minimal delay (~40ms). The transceiver supports aptX low latency. If one of the paired devices does not support aptX, standard Bluetooth latency will apply.
What does the LED indicator mean?
Off: transceiver off. Slow pulsing blue: on, optical selected. Slow pulsing green: on, AUX selected. Flashing red/blue or red/green: pairing mode. Solid blue: paired with optical. Solid green: paired with AUX.
Can I connect two Bluetooth headphones at the same time?
Yes, in TX mode you can pair two headphones via multipoint streaming. After pairing the first, put the transceiver back into pairing mode and pair the second. Both will play audio simultaneously, but unless both support aptX, standard Bluetooth will be used.
How do I restore factory settings?
With the transceiver on, slide and hold the multifunction switch to the right for about 6 seconds until the LED shows a solid static light, then release. The LED will flash red/blue, indicating pairing mode, and all paired devices are cleared.
Why is the sound quality poor with dropouts?
Ensure the transceiver and Bluetooth device are within 10 meters. Reduce interference from other 2.4GHz devices (Wi-Fi, microwaves). Increase volume on the audio source and control volume on the Bluetooth device. Avoid placing the transceiver behind metal or large obstructions.
