Frequently Asked Questions - Salima TFH-2000W WILFA

How do I install the Wilfa Salima TFH-2000W?
Place the unit upright near a window. Connect the exhaust hose to the back of the unit and extend it to the window kit. Ensure the window kit is securely installed. Plug in the power cord and press the power button.
How often should I clean the air filter?
Clean the washable mesh filter every two weeks. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, wash with mild detergent and water, let it dry completely, then reinstall.
How do I empty the water condensate?
The unit collects condensate in an internal tank. When full, the unit will beep. You can drain manually via the bottom plug, or attach a continuous drain hose (not included) for automatic drainage.
Can I use the air conditioner without the exhaust hose?
No, the exhaust hose must always be connected and vented outside to remove hot air. Operating without it will reduce cooling performance and may cause overheating.
What does the 'child lock' feature do?
Child lock disables the control panel buttons to prevent accidental changes. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate.
Why is my air conditioner making loud noise?
Check if the unit is level and on a solid surface. Also clean the filter and fan blades. If noise persists, inspect for loose parts or contact support.
How do I use the timer function?
Press the 'Timer' button to set the unit to turn on or off automatically after a set time (0-24 hours). Use the +/- buttons to adjust the desired time.
Can I use an extension cord?
It is not recommended. Use a dedicated 220-240V outlet. If absolutely necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for at least 10A.
What does error code E3 mean?
Error E3 indicates a fan motor or sensor fault. Turn off the unit and unplug it for 10 minutes. If the error persists, contact customer service.
How to save energy using this air conditioner?
Set the thermostat to 24-26°C, close windows and curtains, and use the timer to avoid continuous operation. Clean the filter regularly.
