Use
Make sure your hair is completely dry and comb it through. If you have very long or thick hair, it may be easier to use hair clips to section your hair.
Plug the appliance in. The display shows “OFF”. Switch the appliance on by pressing the switch on the handle until the display lights up and flashes 190° C. The appliance is preset to start at 190° C, but you can easily adjust the temperature using the + and - buttons to select a temperature ( 150-230° C). Each time you press a button the temperature increases/lowers by 20° C.
The selected temperature flashes until the temperature is reached. Select an appropriate temperature based on your hair type – see the recommended temperatures below.
If using the appliance for the first time, we recommend starting with the lowest temperature.
150-170°C – normal hair 190-210°C – thick unruly hair 230°C – very thick, resilient hair
NOTE! This appliance reaches very high temperatures. Make sure that the hot plates of this appliance do not come into contact with the scalp, face, neck or hands. Do not use the appliance on wigs, extensions or artificial hair without testing it on a small section of hair first to determine if there is a risk of the hair melting.
If you want to use the appliance as straighteners
Keep the appliance at a safe distance from the skin and eyes. Use a mirror. Do not take sections of hair wider than 5 cm. Place the hair between the plates and press together. Make sure that your fingers do not come into contact with the hot plates. Then draw the appliance down towards the ends of the hair in one smooth movement. For best results, start at the roots and work out towards the ends.
Always switch the appliance off by pressing the switch until "OFF" appears on the display. Unplug the appliance after use.
If you want to use the appliance as curling irons
Keep the appliance at a safe distance from the skin and eyes. Use a mirror. Clamp a section of hair around 5 cm wide between the plates near the scalp. Distribute the hair evenly. Squeeze the plates together, turn the appliance 180 degrees and then draw the appliance down towards the ends of your hair in one smooth movement. If you only want to curl the ends, angle the appliance slightly when you reach the ends. To ensure the hair holds its curl, do not comb or brush the hair until it has cooled.
If you want corkscrew curls, take a smaller section of hair. The less hair you take, the smaller and more elastic the curls will be. Always switch the appliance off by pressing the switch until the display switches off. Unplug the appliance after use.
Automatic shut-off function
This appliance has a safety function that switches the appliance off automatically after around 1 hour after its most recent activation. The automatic shut-off function is an extra safety feature, but as a rule the appliance should always be switched off by pressing the switch and unplugging the appliance after use.
Lock function
The appliance has a practical lock function which makes them easier to carry with you. Activate the lock function by pressing the plates together and push the lock button on the handle down towards the display. To unlock, press the plates together and push the lock button in the opposite direction.
Cleaning and maintenance

- Note that the use of chemicals may damage the exterior of the appliance.
- Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of children. The appliance reaches very high temperatures when in use, and therefore takes a long time to cool down completely.
- The appliance and cord must not be immersed in water or other liquids and must not come into direct contact with water.
- Make sure that water does not get into the casing!
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance and the plates with a damp cloth. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Make sure that the appliance has cooled completely and is dry before putting it away.
- Keep the appliance in a safe, dry location out of the reach of children after use.
