How do I clean the DE3450?

Disconnect the device from power before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.

Can I install the DE3450 in a closed cabinet?

No. The device requires at least 5cm of clearance on the sides and rear for proper ventilation. Installing in a closed space may cause overheating.

What type of memory does the DE3450 support?

It supports dual-channel SO-DIMM DDR3L memory at 1866MT/s, with a maximum capacity of 8GB.

How do I use the extend power switch on the rear?

The extend power switch allows you to connect a custom external power button. Use a spring clamp terminal block: press the button, insert stripped wire (AWG 20-28, strip length 9-10mm), release. Connect to Ground and SW+; PS_ON indicates power status (low = on, high = off).

Is the DE3450 fanless?

Yes, the DE3450 is fanless, which ensures silent operation. Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent overheating.

What is the maximum RAM capacity?

The maximum memory capacity is 8GB, using two SO-DIMM DDR3L modules.

How do I connect an external display?

4. Function Introduction

4.1 Extend power switch

Extend power switch at rear IO of DE3450 can allow customer to extend the power switch by their demand, and customer can decide their own switch specification and cable length just follow the wire gauge and strip length.

Ground & SW+ are for connection to extend power switch, and PS_ON is a signal to present the system power on/off status, when PS_ON signal is low, then system is in power on status when PS_ON signal is high, then system is in power off status

This is a screwless type spring clamp pluggable terminal block, you can insert a wire by press the button on the terminal, please refer to the procedure below.

Step 1 please prepare a pin or rod that hard enough for pushing the button on the terminal block

Step 2 push the button in the end and hold it

Step 3 insert the wire into the hole and make sure the stripped portion is fully inserted

Step 4 release the pin or rod then the wire will clamp by the terminal block
