How to replace the top of the washing machine?

To remove the top, unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply. Remove the screws at the back, push the top towards the back then lift it off. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Wear gloves to avoid cuts.

How to remove the control panel?

First remove the top and the detergent drawer. Then loosen the screws of the control panel and disconnect the connectors. Beware of sharp edges, wear gloves. Carefully lift the panel.

How to change the door seal?

Remove the door, the top, the detergent drawer, the pump cover and the front panel. Remove the clamp with a plastic tool, release the seal. For assembly, tighten the clamp to 3.4 Nm. Beware of sharp edges.

What tools are needed for repairs?

Recommended tools include: a Torx T20 screwdriver, a torque wrench (20-100 Nm), insulated flat screwdrivers, needle-nose pliers, cutting pliers, and combination wrenches of size 10, 13, 16 and 17 mm. A plastic auxiliary tool is supplied for the clamps.

How to remove the door?

Open the door, remove the hinge screws and lift the door to disengage it. Beware of fingers in the hinge area. Wear gloves to avoid injury.

How to clean the pump filter?

Open the pump cover located at the bottom right of the appliance. Turn the filter counterclockwise and remove it. Clean it under running water and put it back. Make sure the appliance is unplugged.

How to change the door lock?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the top, the control panel, the door, the clamp, the front panel and the door seal. Disconnect the connector of the lock and remove it. Assembly is the reverse. An electrotechnical test by a professional is required after replacement.

How to change the drum light?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the top, the detergent drawer and the control panel. Take out the light holder, disconnect the connections and replace the bulb. Reassemble in reverse order.

What are the important safety instructions?

Always unplug the appliance before any intervention. Risk of electrocution: do not touch live parts. Wear gloves to protect against cuts. Secure the appliance against falling. Respect the specified tightening torques.

How to reassemble parts after repair?

Assembly is generally carried out in the reverse chronological order of disassembly. Tighten the screws to the recommended torque, reconnect all connectors, and check for leaks. Consult the manual for specific details for each part.

1.2.1 Danger levels

The warning levels consist of a symbol and a signal word. The signal word indicates the severity of the danger.

3.8 Replacing door lock

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part door lock including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a door lock, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation. This person must be verifiably qualified according to the country-specific laws, regulations and standards.
