How to set the refrigerator temperature?

Use the thermostat inside the refrigerator. Turn it to a higher number for colder temperature. The ideal temperature is between 4°C and 5°C for the refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.

Why is my refrigerator not cooling?

First check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the thermostat is not set to '0'. Make sure the ventilation grilles are not obstructed. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

How to clean the interior of the refrigerator?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the shelves and bins. Wash them with warm water and mild soap. Do not use abrasive products. Dry before putting back.

What to do in case of abnormal noise?

Check that the refrigerator is level and not touching furniture. Sometimes, gurgling noises are normal (gas circulation). If the noise is loud and continuous, call customer service.

How to change the door opening direction?

Consult the manual for the exact steps. Generally, you need to remove the hinges and reposition them on the other side. Use the provided covers to plug the holes.

How to defrost the freezer?

This model is equipped with No Frost, it does not require manual defrosting. The system automatically removes frost. If frost appears, check that the door closes properly.

Where to find the serial number of my refrigerator?

The serial number is on the rating plate inside the refrigerator, usually on the left side wall. It is also on the original packaging.

What to do if the alarm indicator lights up?

The alarm indicator lights up in case of excessive temperature (door left open or malfunction). Check the door closure. If the alarm persists, unplug and replug after 5 minutes. Consult the manual.

How to replace the interior bulb?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the bulb cover (often clipped). Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with one of the same type (usually LED or E14). Reassemble the cover.

They contain information how to exchange defined spare parts including warnings and risks.

1.2 Explanation of symbols

1.2.1 Danger levels

The warning levels consist of a symbol and a signal word. The signal word indicates the severity of the danger.

Warning level Meaning

Caution	Non-observance of the warning message could result in minor injuries.

• Errors by repairs involving electrical components can lead to electrical shock!
  ■ Disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 60 seconds before starting work.
  ■ After the repair have a safety test according VDE 0701 or country-specific regulations performed.

Risk of injury from sharp edges!

■ Wear protective gloves.

Risk of crushing during repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and service due to heavy and moving components

■ Wear protective shoes.
■ Secure heavy components from falling down.
■ Do not stick body parts into moving components.

Risk to the appliance's safety / function!

1. Release door gasket from the groove on right and left corner.

1. Pull out door gasket from groove.

Door gasket is removed.

	Thickness of new door gasket may deviate slightly from thickness of old door gasket. This will not affect closing behavior and long-term function.
	If your appliance has adjustable hinges or hinge attachments, you can optimize the closing behavior subsequently.
	Small side holes in door gasket are functional (required for ventilation). These are not production faults.

Repair

1. Check groove for gasket for damage.

3. i Slight deformation of door gasket is normal and does not affect its function. It is recommended to straighten door gasket before inserting it into appliance.

Heat door gasket with a hair dryer or hot water and manually reshape it.

4.2 Replacing door handle

Required tools:

Torx Bit TX20 6,3 mm (1/4") [00340865]

Slotted screwdriver Blade 10 mm x 1.6 mm x 200 mm

Prerequisite:

√ Appliance is disconnected from power supply.
√ Door is open.

4.2.1 Removing door handle

1. Remove two screw caps (1).
2. Unscrew two screws (2).
3. Remove door handle (3).

Door handle is removed.

Door handle for the second door can be removed in the same manner.

▶ Install in reverse order.

Prerequisite:

√ Appliance is disconnected from power supply.
√ Appliance interior fittings are removed.

1. Place appliance on the back side.

1. 1. Press upper hinge cover on both sides (1).

2. Move out upper hinge cover (2)

3. Rotate hinge cover (3).
4. Remove upper hinge cover (4).
5. Unscrew two screws (5).
6. Remove upper hinge (6)
