A3 - STOP button with control light
A4 – defrost button with control light
A5 – reheat button with control light
A6 – power supply

When the control light is on, it signals that the function is on.
III. PREPARATION FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the appliance. Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the toaster. Place the toaster on a suitable flat and dry surface, in the height of at least 85 cm, out of reach of children. The electric socket must be easily accessible so that the appliance can be easily disconnected from power supply if danger appears. Plug the power cord connector A6 to an electric socket. When you put the appliance into operation for the first time, set the revolving regulator to level 3 and switch on the toaster at least 4-5 times (without any bread in) with a window open and then leave to cool down. Now the appliance is ready for operation.
Toasting regulator (A2)
Set the required toasting level by turning the regulator clockwise. If in doubt, start from the lowest level.
Level 1 – the shortest toasting time, the toasted bread is the lightest.
Level 2–3 – slightly toasted bread.
Level 4–6 – moderately toasted bread.
Level 7 – the longest preparation time, the toasted bread is the darkest.
Warning
If you toast one slice of bread only, set a lower level of toasting than for two slices.
STOP button (A3): by pressing the button you stop the set function of the toaster.
Defrost button (A4): intended for preparation of frozen slices of bread.
Reheat button (A5): intended for warming cooled down toasts or finishing half-done toasts.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Toasting bread
Select the toasting level by the regulator A2. Put slices of bread to the toasting slot. Push A1 guide down so that it is secured in the lower position. The operation control light A3 comes on and the appliance starts toasting immediately. After the set time the appliance is turned off automatically and the guide goes up. For easier removal of a smaller slice of bread, move the guide upwards.
Warming function
The function is not dependent on setting the toasting regulator and the time of preparation is shorter than in toasting at level 1. Follow the same procedure as in paragraph Toasting bread, and after pushing the guide A1 down push the reheat button A5 (the control light will come on).
Defrosting function
When this function is selected, the preparation time at the selected level will be longer as the bread will be defrosted first and then baked. Follow the same procedure as in paragraph Toasting bread, and after pushing the guide A1 down push the defrost button A4 (the control light will come on).
V. MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance only when it has cooled down! Clean the appliance regularly after each use. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, peelers, caustic agents for cleaning ovens, or other solvents). Pull out the breadcrumbs tray B from the lower part of the appliance and remove the remaining pastry. Do not turn the appliance upside down and do not throw out the breadcrumbs in this way. Push the tray in properly. For cleaning the cover, use detergents for cleaning plastic surfaces. Clean the surface by wiping it with a soft and wet cloth. If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth. It is normal that the colour of the surface changes in the course of time. This change does not change the features of the surface in any way and thus is not a reason for sales return of the appliance!
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by professional service! Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to guarantee repair!
