What voltage and current are required for the Amana TR522SL refrigerator?
The refrigerator must be plugged into a dedicated circuit of 230 V, 50 Hz and 10 A with a grounded outlet.
How to adjust the refrigerator and freezer temperature?
The thermostats are located on the center divider. Set both to 4 during initial startup, wait 24 hours, then adjust by increments of 1 number. Setting 1 is least cold, 7 is coldest. Use a thermometer to check the temperature after 5 to 8 hours.
What to do if condensation forms on the outside of the refrigerator?
Check that the door seals are airtight. Set the anti-condensation control to on to activate the heaters that reduce condensation.
How to clean the inside of the refrigerator?
Unplug the appliance. Use warm water with four tablespoons of baking soda per liter of water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia, bleach, and metal scouring pads.
Why does the refrigerator make unusual noises?
Modern refrigerators produce normal sounds that differ from older models, such as gurgling, clicking, or whirring. These sounds indicate the appliance is working properly. Refer to the Normal Sounds section of the manual for more details.
How to reverse the refrigerator doors?
Reversing the doors requires removing the handles, doors, and hinges, then reinstalling them on the opposite side. Follow steps 1 to 12 in the Door Removal section and the specific reversal instructions. Two people are recommended.
What to do during a prolonged absence (vacation)?

What is the warranty of the Amana TR522SL refrigerator?
The one-year limited warranty covers all defective parts. The compressor is warranted for 5 years. Repairs must be performed by an Amana authorized service provider.
How to clean the condenser coil?
Remove the vent grille by pulling it. Use a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle to clean the coil. Also clean the fan grille at the back. Perform this operation every three months to prevent excessive energy consumption.
What to do if food items are not cold enough?
Check that the freezer thermostat is not set to O. Make sure the appliance is plugged in and the fuse/circuit breaker is working. Clean the condenser, adjust the thermostats, and wait for the temperature to stabilize after adding large quantities of food.
