How do I assemble the blender?

Place the sealed ring on the blade assembly unit, then place the blade assembly unit on the interface and screw it onto the glass jar bottom until fixed. Place the jar onto the motor unit, ensuring the handle can be on the left or right side. Finally, connect to mains power.

How do I clean the blender?

Disconnect power and disassemble all removable parts. Clean them in the dishwasher or in lukewarm water with dishwashing liquid. Wipe the motor base with a dry cloth. Be careful of the sharp blades.

What safety features does the blender have?

A built-in safety lock prevents operation unless the jar is correctly attached. The motor has a manual reset thermostat to protect from overheating. Always handle the sharp blades with care.

Can I crush ice in this blender?

Yes, use the Crush Ice quick-select button. Do not add more than 8 ice cubes (20x20x20 mm each) at a time. The appliance will stop automatically after 30 seconds.

How do I use the Smoothie function?

Disconnect power. Unscrew the blade assembly unit interface from the glass jar. Replace with a new unit, ensuring the sealed ring is in place. Tighten securely. Contact Wilfa service for replacement parts.

Is the blender dishwasher safe?

Yes, all removable parts (jar, lid, measuring cup, blade assembly unit) are dishwasher safe. The motor base should only be wiped with a dry cloth.

Built-in safety lock

This function ensures that user can only switch the appliance on when the accessories have been placed on the unit in correct position. When the accessories have been fixed properly, the unit can only be switched on. (i.e. Built-in safety lock function is disabled at this moment)

To switch on the appliance, turn the knob to "ON" position. The "ON" light will be illuminated.

To control the speed, turn the knob at between "MIN" & "MAX" position. The light will be illuminated at the desired position.

To use the quick function, turn the knob to "ON" position. The light on the three buttons will start to blink.

Crush ice button

Press this button to crush ice. The appliance starts crushing according to the pre-set speed profi le.

Press the button again to stop the process or wait for the unit to stop automatically after running for 30 seconds.

Warning:

Do not add more than 8pcs ice cubes (less than 20 x 20 x 20mm size of the ice) in glass jar at a time.

Smoothie button

Press this button to make delicious smoothies. The appliance starts mixing according to the pre-set speed profile. Press the button again to stop the process or wait for the unit to stop automatically after running for one minute.

Pulse/Auto clean button

Press the button to run the Auto mode. The appliance starts operating according to the pre-set speed profi le. Press the button again to stop the process or wait for the unit to stop automatically after running for one minute.

This function can be used to clean the product; you have to use water in the jar.

How to assemble the appliance

1. Place the sealed ring on the blade assembly unit.

1. Screw the unit interface onto the glass jar bottom until it is fixed properly.

1. Place the glass jar with blade assembly unit interface on the motor unit. The handle can be placed in two positions: either located at the right hand side or left hand side.

How to use the glass jar

1. Place the ingredients in the glass jar.

2. Place the lid on the jar and close it tightly.

1. Select the speed by turning the control knob or press the Quick-select button.

Note: Do not let the appliance to operate more than 3 minutes continuously. Let the appliance to cool down to room temperature before continue operating the appliance.

After using the blender

1. Disconnect the power from main supply.
2. Remove the lid (together with measuring cup) from the jar.
3. Remove the jar (together with blade assembly unit interface) from the motor part.
4. Detach the blade assembly unit interface from the bottom of the jar.

Note: Always clean the removable parts immediately after use.

Note: It is recommended to cut the meat or other food into smaller pieces before putting them in the jar. Do not operate with large quantities of food at one time.
