How do I start a wash cycle?

Open the door, load laundry, add detergent, select a program with the knob (P), adjust spin speed with button (H) if needed, select optional functions (C) if desired, press the delayed start button (I) if required, then press the start button (L). The door locks and the cycle begins.

What does the 'Easy Logic' technology do?

Easy Logic automatically senses the load size and adjusts water quantity (reducing by 2 litres per kg less) and wash time accordingly. It also reduces rinses for half-load or less. This technology works only for cotton programs.

How can I delay the start of the wash?

Press the delayed start button (I) repeatedly to select a delay of 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. Then press the start button (L); the selected delay will flash. The machine will start automatically after the set time.

What should I do if I want to add laundry after starting?

Turn the program selector knob to 'STOP' to reset the machine, but only if the cycle started less than 3 minutes ago. Wait 2 minutes for the door to unlock, then add laundry. Select the desired program and press start again. Note: This is not recommended unless strictly necessary.

How do I change the spin speed?

Press button (H) repeatedly to cycle through available spin speeds (500, 800, 1200 rpm or no-spin). The corresponding LED lights up. The maximum speed is preset for each program.

What do the optional function buttons do?

Pre-wash: Adds a short pre-wash at 40°C (use extra detergent). Intensive Wash: Increases wash duration for tougher stains. Extra Rinse: Adds three extra rinses for soft water or detergent residue. Anti-crease: Tumbles clothes for 30 min after cycle to reduce wrinkles (max spin 800 rpm).

How do I know which detergent to use?

Use low-suds detergent designed for automatic washing machines. Add detergent to the appropriate compartment: pre-wash (if using that function), main wash, and fabric softener to the marked compartment. Do not overfill.

What does the 'STOP' position on the knob do?

Turning the knob to 'STOP' resets the machine. It is used to cancel a cycle or to unlock the door (after a 2-minute wait). Only use it if the cycle started less than 3 minutes ago to change program.

How can I clean the washing machine?

Regularly clean the detergent drawer and the filter (if accessible). Run a hot cotton cycle (e.g., 90°C) without laundry periodically to remove buildup. Check the manual for specific cleaning instructions.

What should I do if the machine vibrates excessively during spin?

The machine has out-of-balance protection. If the load is uneven, it will reduce spin speed or skip spin. Redistribute the laundry evenly in the drum and restart. Ensure the machine is level and on a stable surface.

USE OF THE WASHING MACHINE

"EASY LOGIC" TECHNOLOGY

The electronic washing machine is fitted with an “EASY LOGIC” system that automatically recognises the quantity of washing loaded. The machine can thus regulate the amount of water to use for the wash and proportion the wash time accordingly, thus saving water, time and energy. In the case where the amount of washing is less than the maximum recommended load (see technical characteristics table), the quantity of water used for the wash will be reduced by 2 litres for each kg less of washing.

In the case of a half-load or less, the machine will automatically carry out one rinse less than programmed.

N.B. The "EASY LOGIC" function is only active for cotton programmes.

WASHING CYCLE:

(follow these instructions and the washing machine will run the selected wash cycle)

1. Open the door
2. Load the washing in the drum and close the door.
   Warning: Do not overload the machine. It is not advisable to wash items that absorb large quantities of water such as carpets.
3. Add a low-suds detergent and softener designed for automatic washing machines in the respective compartments of the detergent drawer (see chapter "USE OF DETERGENTS").
4. Close the detergent drawer. Do not open the drawer while the machine is working as this may cause water to spill out.
5. Rotate the programmer knob (P) to select the required programme and temperature according to the type of fabric to wash (see: "PROGRAMME TABLES")

N.B.: When selecting a program, the led of maximum spin speed allowed by the program selected will automatically light up. One of the leds (S) will light up to indicate the starting wash cycle.

1. Select the required spin speed by pressing button (H) (see "VARIABLE SPIN").

2. Select the (C) buttons with the functions required (see "OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS").

3. Press button (I) if required (see "DELAYED START").

4. Press button (L) to start the wash cycle (see "START BUTTON").

5. At the end of the wash cycle, turn the program selector knob (P) on "STOP".

6. Open the door and remove the washing.

7. With dry hands, unplug the washing machine from the mains supply.

8. Close the water feed valve.

VARIABLE SPIN:

The machine offers a wide selection of spin speeds that can be selected beforehand according to the wash programme. To change the spin speed, simply press button (H) to select the required speed. The corresponding speed led will light-up each time the button is pressed. To exclude the spin, select the led corresponding to symbol present, or the writing "no-spin".

NB. the maximum spin speed will vary according to the model and is indicated by the Leds on the machine. The maximum spin speed that can be selected for each programme is indicated by the leds that light-up automatically when the wash programme is selected.

Out of balance spin protection for the load:

This washing machine is equipped with a special electronic control system for the correct balancing of the load. Before each spin, the system makes the clothes arrange themselves in the drum in the most even way possible. In case of irregular distribution of the laundry, for safety reasons the spin speed is reduced and in cases of the load being greatly out of balance, the spin cycle will not be effected.

DELAYED START:

The machine is fitted with a delayed start function. This allows the washing machine to be programmed to start the wash cycle up to 8 hours later. The delay in hours can be selected as follows: press the button to set a delay of 1, 2, 4, 8 hours. When the START button (L) is pressed, the selected led will flash or button (I) will light up (according to the model), signalling that the function has been activated. The machine will wait for the number of hours set to elapse and then start the wash cycle automatically.

START BUTTON:

After having carried out all the operations described in points 1 to 8 in the paragraph "WASHING CYCLE" press this button and the washing machine will begin its washing cycle. The relative LED will light up after 2-3 seconds, to indicate that the door is locked and the program has started.

PROGRAMMER KNOB "STOP":

The function of stop is to reset the washing machine. If for any reason during the washing cycle you decide to vary it, or decide later to add more laundry, all you have to do is turn the knob of the program selector to the "STOP" position, then reset the knob to the new program chosen and press the "START" button.

Warning!! It is recommended to use this function only if strictly necessary and solely if the program to be reset has started not more than 3 minutes previously. Before being able to open the door after a reset, you must wait 2 minutes for it to be unlocked.

OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS

If one of the following buttons is selected, the corresponding LED will switch on. But if it has been selected by mistake or you have changed your mind, simply press it again to cancel the selection.

PRE-WASH:

When this button is pressed, a short pre-wash with a maximum temperature of 40^irc C lasting for about 10 minutes is provided. This function can only be used on the “COTTON, SYNTHETICS and DAILY” programs.

N.B. When using this function, remember to put some detergent in the pre-wash compartment too.

Press the button and the machine will carry out a wash cycle at the set temperature but lasting longer.

The button is active with "COTTON" and "SYNTHETICS" programs.

EXTRA RINSE:

The washing machine has been built so that water consumption is reduced to a minimum. For areas with very soft water or in the case possible residues of detergent are noticed at the end of the cycle, pressing this button the machine will add three extra rinses.

ANTI-CREASE:

RYPISTYMISEN ESTO

When this button is pressed, at the end of the washing cycle the clothes in the washing machine continue to revolve for another thirty minutes reducing creases. With this function the maximum working spin speed is 800 rpm. The function does not work for the “WOOL” program.

N.B. Use of the optional functions is restricted by the type of program chosen; so, if the program does not allow the function, it will not be possible to enable the button (see PROGRAM TABLE).

MONITORING THE WASH:

The figure alongside shows the 4 main functions of a wash cycle:

PREWASH - MAIN WASH, RINSES, SPIN, END.

During the cycle, each of these functions is highlighted by a led informing the user what the washing machine is doing at that moment.

After the spin phase, the corresponding led will stay lit for approximately 2 minutes; this is the time lapse necessary before the door can be opened. At this point, the "END" led will light-up.
