How many hearing programs does the IMPACT Pro R have?
The device can be programmed with up to five hearing programs, selected via the push button. Each press cycles to the next program, confirmed by the number of beeps.
How do I clean the Click Dome?
Wash the Click Dome under a tap using a small brush or cloth daily to remove earwax. Dry it thoroughly. Replace the Click Dome every three months or if damaged.
What should I do if the Click Dome gets stuck in my ear?
Do not attempt to remove it yourself. Seek help from your NHS Audiologist or a medical professional immediately.
How do I turn the hearing aid on and off?
Close the battery compartment fully to switch on. Open it to the first stop to switch off. Some models allow on/off via the program button.
What is the e2e wireless feature?
e2e wireless synchronizes two hearing aids (binaural fitting) for automatic adjustment to listening situations and joint volume/program changes. It can be activated by your audiologist.
Can I use the IMPACT Pro R with a TV or phone?
Yes, with the optional miniTek or Tek wireless system, you can stream audio from TV, phone, or MP3 player directly to your hearing aids.
How often should I change the wax guard?
The Click Mould has a wax filter that needs regular changing. Replace it as indicated in the Click Mould instructions, typically when sound quality deteriorates.
What safety precautions should I take?
Keep batteries and small parts away from children. Avoid exposure to extreme heat, humidity, strong magnetic fields (>0.1T), and X-rays. Do not use in explosive areas.
What should I do if the hearing aid stops working?
Check: is it switched on? Is the battery inserted correctly and not dead? Is the battery compartment closed? Is the receiver clogged with wax? If problems persist, consult your NHS Audiologist.
