How to use the hand blender

Mount the removable blending shaft on the motor part by pressing it onto the motor part until it engages (you hear a click sound) and the blender is correctly positioned. Apply the plug to a power socket and switch on. Make sure that the power cord does not get in the way.

Lower the hand blender into the ingredients before you switch it on in order to avoid splashing. Press the ON-button and carefully work the hand blender upwards and to the sides in slow, rotating movements. For highest speed select the turbo button.

When the ON-button or the turbo button is released, the motor will stop immediately. Press the button at intervals of about 10 seconds, release the button for a moment and restart. Continue in this way until all ingredients have got the texture you want.

Because the hand blender works very quickly – most ingredients are done in less than 1 minute – we recommend that you activate the appliance only for short intervals, especially at first when you are not yet familiar with it. Note that the hand blender should only be activated continuously for max 1 minute when blending soft foods, and for max 10 seconds when blending solid foods. Allow the hand blender to rest and cool off for a couple of minutes before re-activating.

After use, take the hand blender out of the jug or bowl, switch off the power, and remove the plug from the power socket.

Separate the hand blender by pressing the two buttons at the bottom of the motor part and then remove the blending shaft. Rinse under running water. Use a soft brush and hot soapy water when cleaning the knife. Never soak the knife in water as water will penetrate into the bearing of the knife and damage it.

The mini chopper is well suited for chopping foods such as meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, nuts, almonds, beans, etc.

Remove the plastic cap from the knife. Please note: The knife is very sharp! Never touch the knife directly – only touch the plastic part. Place the bowl on a plane surface, and then place the knife on the shaft in the middle of the bowl.

Add the ingredients to be chopped. Put on the lid and turn clockwise until it engages with a click.

The mini chopper is designed for small portions and must be activated in accordance with the quantities stated in the table below. If not, the results may not be satisfactory and there is a risk of overloading the appliance.

IMPORTANT!

To avoid damage to bearings, knife and container, please do not use the following foods in the mini chopper: Grain, ice, nutmeg (whole), and coffee beans. Any resulting damage is not covered by the warranty!

Apply the plug to a power socket. Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON-button. The appliance is on as long as the button is pressed. In order to choose the highest speed, select the turbo button. We recommend that you start by pressing the button in short sequences and subsequently let the appliance work continuously until you have obtained the desired texture. However,

note that the mini chopper must be activated continuously for a maximum of 1 minute at a time with soft foods, and max. 10 seconds with solid foods. Subsequently, the appliance must be allowed to cool off a couple of minutes before re-activating.

Hold the motor part with one hand and the bowl with the other hand during use.

After use remove the motor part from the bowl by pressing the two buttons at the bottom of the motor part and the motor part can be removed. Switch off the power and pull the plug from the power socket. Then take the lid off the bowl and remove the knife carefully.

IMPORTANT!

The knife is very sharp and must be handled with care. Never take the lid off and detach the knife before it has stopped completely!

How to use the whisk

The whisk is used only for whipping cream, egg whites, light dough such as pancake dough or cake mixtures, or ready-made dessert mixtures.

Attach the whisk to the whisk holder, and then apply the whisk to the motor part until it engages in locked position. Place the whisk in the bowl before the motor part is activated. Press the ON-button to switch on the whisk.

Note: The whisk may only be used continuously for max 2 minutes.

After use, remove the whisk from the motor part by pressing the two buttons at the bottom of the motor part and the whisk and the holder can be removed from the motor part. Switch off the power and pull the plug from the power socket. Then detach the holder from the whisk.

Cleaning and maintenance

Only wipe the motor part with a soft, damp cloth or kitchen roll. The additional parts can be cleaned in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher, except from the mini chopper lid that should be washed by hand. When cleaning in dishwasher, place the parts in the top basket, never at the bottom part, where the powerful heat development in some cases may cause deformation of the plastic parts.

Plastic parts may be discoloured by coloured food such as carrots. Grease the parts with a little vegetable oil before putting them in the dishwasher.

IMPORTANT!

The motor part must never be rinsed under running water or be immersed in water or other liquids. Consequently, the motor part is NOT dishwasher safe!

Note: The container and the bowl can not be used in a microwave oven.
