Use
- Position the appliance on an even and steam-resistant surface in order to avoid moisture damage.
- Remove the lid and remove the water tank from the base unit by lifting it straight upwards. Turn the water tank upside-down and unscrew the lid at the bottom by turning it in the direction of the arrow towards "LOOSEN".
- Fill the water tank with clean tap water (max 40°C) and screw the lid back on by turning it in the direction of the arrow towards "FASTEN".
- Put the water tank back on to the base unit and make sure tat it is properly secured. If there is not enough water in the tank when the appliance is plugged to the wall outlet, the appliance will emit a beep sound and switch off.
- Put the lid on again with the steam mouthpiece on the water tank.
- Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and press the on/off button on the control panel to activate the appliance. The display will show the air humidity level of the surroundings.
- Switch off the appliance by pressing the on/off button until the display goes out.
If the water has a high content of minerals (hard water) in your area, this might lead to lime deposits on the appliance and on the surfaces around the appliance. Consequently, this does not mean that the appliance is defective, only that the tap water contains minerals.
Timer function
The appliance comprises a timer function enabling you to set the appliance for automatic switch-off after a certain number of hours. Press the timer button at the control panel until the wanted number of hours (1-2 hours) is displayed. The setting is confirmed by an illuminated icon in the display showing the number of hours set.
Auto mode
Press the AUTO button at the control panel and the appliance switches over to automatic control mode, which means that the appliance selects a suitable air humidity level in relation to the air humidity of the surroundings and keeps the level between 55-65%.
Setting of amount of steam
For adjustment of the amount of steam, press the button for amount of steam, and choose from level 1 to 3, where 1 is the smallest volume. An icon will be illuminated to show the selected level. You can direct the steam outlet 360° by turning the steam mouthpiece on the lid of the water tank in any direction. Never point the steam towards electrical appliances or other material that might be damaged by the steam.
Setting of air humidity capacity
The air humidity capacity is changed by means of air humidity button + and air humidity button -. The capacity is increased/decreased by 5% each time you press the button and it can vary from 40 to 80%.
Note! The air humidifier stops generating steam, when the set humidity level has been reached. The air humidifier restarts emitting steam, when the air humidity in the immediate surroundings is about 5% (relative air humidity) below the set air humidity level.
The intensity of the steam is influenced by the relative humidity and the temperature in the room. It will be more difficult to generate steam, if the surroundings are cold and humid because of the fact that the dehumidification takes more time.
The air humidity in a room depends on the size of the room, the room temperature, objects in the room and the conversion of air in the room. The capacity of the product is given in accordance with standardized norms, which means that the ventilation system of the room exchanges the entire air volume of the room within two hours. If the ventilation in the room is more powerful or if doors and windows to adjacent rooms are open, a big part of the steam is led out of
the room, and consequently, it is difficult to have the humidifier obtain the air humidity value set in the display.
How to measure air humidity: The movements of air in a room can result in different measuring results at different places in the room. The internal sensor of the air humidifier measures close to the floor and due to draught on the floor it may show another value than that of a separate meter positioned on a wall.
Hot steam
Press the button to adjust the temperature of the steam. Choose between low ☐, medium ☐ and high ☐ temperature. When this function is off, the appliance produces cold steam.
Scent function
In order to use the scent function, pull out the scent tray at the bottom part on the left side of the appliance. Now add about 10 drops of aromatics in the filter of the scent tray and push it back into the appliance. The scent will then spread through the steam mouthpiece, when the appliance is activated.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always unplug before cleaning and maintenance.
- Never immerse the base unit or the cord in water or any other liquid.
- The feeders of the appliance and the element need regular descaling as follows: Remove the water tank from the base unit. Remove the steam tube at the base unit by turning it anticlockwise (fig. 1); pull the air channel upwards as shown in fig. 2. Clean the water tank (fig. 3) by pouring a small amount of cleansing agent on the feeder and add some water to cover the feeder. Leave to rest for 10-15 minutes. Clean with a brush and rinse twice with water. Do not use sharp tools when cleaning.

- Clean the water tank twice a week, if you use it regularly, by adding a few drops of washing-up liquid in the water tank and then fill the water tank half way up with water. Mount the lid of the water tank and shake the water container, up and down, a couple of times. Then rinse the water tank with clean water.
- Clean the inner side of the base unit with a damp cloth with a little cleansing agent, alternatively use a washing-up brush. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove the cleansing agent.
- Wipe the outer surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- If you are not going to use the appliance for some time, pour out all water from the water tank and check that there is no water in the water tube.
