To get the best out of your new appliance, please read this user guide carefully before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of your appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
General
- Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal injury and damage.
- Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).
- For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use.
- Connect charging station and adapter to 230 V, 50 Hz electricity supply only.
- Only use the enclosed adapter and charging station to recharge the battery of the appliance, and do not use any other batteries than the one enclosed. Do not use the adapter or the charging station to charge other appliances.
- Never attempt to open or repair the battery of this appliance. Contact an authorised service centre if you need to replace the battery.
- Do not immerse the appliance, charging station or adapter in water and make sure no water enters the appliance.
- Never touch the appliance, charging station, adapter, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
- Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use, and keep an eye on children in the vicinity of the appliance when it is being used. The appliance is not a toy.
- The appliance is not to be used by persons with reduced sensitivity, physical or mental disabilities or persons who are unable to use the appliance, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not use the appliance unless the dust container and the filter are fitted, as this could damage the appliance.
- Only use accessories manufactured or recommended by the manufacturer.
Use
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum up matches, hot ashes, cigarette butts, hard or sharp objects, combustible materials (petrol, solvents, etc.) or vapour from these.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum fine sand or dust – e.g. plaster, brick dust and the like.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum other liquids than cold water. Do not exceed the "MAX" mark on the dust container when vacuuming liquids.
- Always hold the appliance in a vertical position with the nozzle tip facing downwards when vacuuming liquids.
- Ensure that you keep clothing, hair and body parts away from the nozzle and moving parts of the appliance.
- Do not cover the ventilation holes on the appliance.
- Do not open the dust container while the appliance is in use.
- Empty the dust container and clean the filter each time you have used the appliance.
Cord and plug
- Keep the appliance, charging station, adapter and cord away from heat sources, hot objects and naked flames.
- Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
- The cord must not be twisted or wound around the appliance.

Take the adaptor out of the socket after charging. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the adapter from the socket. Instead, hold the adapter.

Check regularly that neither cord nor charging station or adapter is damaged and do not use if they are, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any other way.
- If the appliance, charging station, adapter or cord has been damaged, have the appliance inspected and if necessary repaired by an authorised repairer. Please contact the store where you bought the appliance for repairs under the guarantee. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
- Remove all packaging and transport materials from the inside and outside of the appliance.
- Check that the appliance has no visible damage and that no parts are missing.
- Check that the dust container (13) and the filter (7) have been correctly fitted.
- For safety reasons, the battery is only partially charged when the appliance leaves the factory. Therefore, you must always start by charging the battery fully. Charge the appliance for at least 14 hours before first use.
Mounting the charging station on the wall
- Mount the charging station (9) on the wall on a stable, clean and dry surface.
- Use only the screws supplied together with the appliance.
- Do not mount the charging station in the immediate vicinity of heat sources or containers with water.
- When mounted in the correct position, the charging station should allow the appliance to hang with the dust container facing downwards.
Battery charging
- Plug the adapter (10) into a wall socket and place the appliance in the charging station.
o The charging indicator (3) on the appliance shows red when the appliance is correctly positioned in the charging station and the power is on. - Check that the appliance is switched off.
- Leave the battery to fully charge – approx. 14 hours. When the appliance has been fully charged a couple of times, it is sufficient to charge it for a minimum of two hours.
- Take the adaptor out of the socket after charging.
NOTE!
- The battery becomes hot during charging – this is perfectly normal.
- The battery reaches its full capacity once it has been recharged 2–3 times.
- Avoid discharging the battery completely. Take care to always recharge the battery after extended use of the appliance so that the appliance is always ready to be used again.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Vacuuming of dry items

Remove the appliance from the charging station.
-
Fit the extension piece (11) to the nozzle tip (8) and press until it clicks into place.
o Fit the brush nozzle (12) to the extension piece, if necessary. The brush nozzle cannot be fitted directly to the nozzle tip.
- You can use the appliance to vacuum breadcrumbs and the like without first fitting accessories to the nozzle tip.
- Switch on the appliance by pushing the on/off button (2) forward.
- Hold the nozzle tip downwards while using the appliance.
- Press the on/off button backwards to switch off the appliance after use.
- Empty the dust container and clean the filter when you have finished with the appliance (see "Cleaning" below).
- Leave the appliance in the charging station when not in use.
Vacuuming of wet items
- Remove the appliance from the charging station.
- Fit the nozzle for liquids (14) to the nozzle tip and press until it clicks into place.
- Switch on the appliance by pushing the on/off button forward.
- Hold the nozzle tip downwards while using the appliance.
o Do not use the appliance to vacuum other liquids than cold water.
Do not exceed the "MAX" mark on the dust container when vacuuming liquids. Read the level of the liquid when holding the appliance in a vertical position with the nozzle tip facing downwards.

Press the on/off button backwards to switch off the appliance after use.

Immediately empty the dust container of liquid and clean the filter (see "Cleaning" below).

Leave the appliance in the charging station when not in use.
NOTE!
- If the appliance loses suction power during use, the battery may need to be recharged.
- Lack of suction power may also be caused by the dust container being full or the filter being blocked and needing cleaning (see "Emptying of dust container and cleaning of filter").
- If the appliance still does not have full suction power after the dust container has been emptied and the filter cleaned or replaced, the nozzle tip or the nozzle may be blocked.
NOTE! Check cause of fault and correct. Do not use the appliance if any air holes are blocked. Permanent motor damage can result. - We recommend that you empty the dust container and clean the filter after each vacuuming (see "Emptying of dust container and cleaning of filter").
DUST CONTAINER AND FILTER
This appliance is not equipped with a dust bag. The dust/dirt is sucked up into the dust container instead. Once the dust is in this container, it whirls around so that it does not block suction. The air sucked in is cleaned by means of a washable permanent filter in the dust container.
IMPORTANT! If the appliance loses suction power during use, the filter may need cleaning or replacing. Never use the appliance, when the filter is dirty or when it has not been fitted.
Emptying of dust container and cleaning of filter
- Press and hold the button for opening the dust container (1) and carefully dismantle the dust container.
- Remove the filter from the dust container and clean it (see "Cleaning" below).

Empty the dust container and clean it, if necessary (See "Cleaning" below).

Refit the filter in the dust container. Check that the filter is firmly in place. Reinsert the dust container in the appliance and press firmly until it clicks into place.
Check that the dust container and the filter are COMPLETELY dry before the appliance is assembled and used again. Do not use the appliance if it is damp.
CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, you should pay attention to the following:
- Remove the appliance from the charging station, and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the appliance, charging station or adapter in water and make sure no water enters the appliance.
- Clean the appliance and the charging station by wiping them with a dry, soft cloth. Keep the charging switch (5) clean to ensure a good connection between the charging station and the appliance.
- Dismantle the dust container and the filter and wash them in cold water. Do not use soap. The parts are not dishwasher safe,
- Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they can damage the external surfaces of the appliance.
- When the filter pads are worn or cannot be properly cleaned, replace them with pads of the same type.
- IMPORTANT! Check that the dust container and the filter are COMPLETELY dry before the appliance is assembled and used again. Do not use the appliance if it is damp.
- Always clean the appliance before putting it away if it is not to be used for a prolonged period.
