Safety

• Always disconnect the product from the mains when it is not in use.
• The product must not be used by children. Ensure that the product and its mains lead are kept out of children's reach.

• Never let children play with the product.
• Keep hair, clothing and any loose or hanging jewellery away from the rotating blade.
• Keep the mains lead away from the rotating cutting blade. Never insert your fingers or any other kitchen utensil into the container in which you are using the hand blender.
• Be very careful when cleaning the blade, it is very sharp.

Operating instructions

Note:

• The motor runs the risk of overheating if it is run for too long continuously:
• Run it for max 15 seconds under no load
• Run it for max 60 seconds under load
  • Make sure that the hand blender is clean before use.
• Never blend hot oil or fat.
• Never add ingredients while the blender is switched on.

Switching on/off

Start the hand blender by pressing in the power trigger. Release the power switch to switch the hand blender off.

Care and maintenance

- Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket before cleaning. The blade is extremely sharp and could cause serious personal injury if the blender were to start accidentally. Note: The motor unit and power switch must never be exposed to water.

- The exterior of the motor unit can be cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals. Never immerse the motor unit in water.

- The mixing stem can be washed by lowering it into warm soapy water and running it for a few seconds to clean the blades. The mixing stem and blade should then be rinsed with warm water.

- If the mixing stem is rinsed under running water care must be taken not to get any water on the motor unit and power switch.
