Before you use the appliance for the first time, read the instruction manual carefully, and save it for future use.
This product is equipped with a safety system that within milliseconds cuts the current if there is short circuit or exceptional high power consumption. If this should occur, shut off the appliance by the switch and let the appliance cool off completely. The appliance could then be used as usual.
Use
Start the appliance by pressing the switch to position I. Place the neck warmer around the neck with the appliance middle part towards the neck. Use the Velcro fastening to attach the neck warmer around the neck. If you use the enclosed elastic Velcro fastening, you will increase the range of use and the appliance can be used on other parts of the body, for example the back or over the shoulders. To shut off the appliance, press the switch to 0.
Warning! The appliance may not be used by children if the switch is not set by an adult or the child has been thoroughly instructed how you use the switch. Never let children use the appliance without supervision. Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children responsible handling of the appliance.
Inserting/changing the batteries
It is recommended to use 4 rechargeable AA 1,2V Ni-MH batteries, but it is also possible to use 4 regular Alkaline 1,5V batteries instead. The batteries should be placed in the battery compartment under the zipper on the inside of the neck warmer. Open the zipper and remove the compartment lid by removing the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Place 4 new batteries and note that the terminals of the batteries should be place according to the illustrations in the compartment. Put the lid and screw back and close the zipper.
Cleaning and maintenance
The plush cover can only be cleaned with a damp cloth. No abrasive detergents may be used.
Never rinse or immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Never use the appliance if it accidentally got wet or damp, and never immediately after cleaning. Wait until the appliance is completely dry.

When not in use, store in the original package in a dry place. When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.

To use the appliance continuously during a long time can cause burns on the skin that can appear long after.

Avoid creasing the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage as this can destroy the safety system.

Do not insert pins or the like in the appliance.

Examine the appliance frequently/when changing the linen for signs of wear, damage or dark spots. If such signs are found, the appliance must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase for repair.

Regardless of the extent of use the appliance must be discarded and disposed of 10 years after the purchase date for safety reasons due to natural ageing of the appliance

The appliance must not be used in sanitary areas.

Do not use crumpled, folded or rucked.

When washing the cover the instruction manual should be observed.

Avoid creasing the neck warmer by placing items on top of it during storage as this can destroy the safety system.

Do not use when humid or wet – wait until the appliance is completely dry.

Under no circumstances should attempts be made to repair the appliance since it involves great risk. Without special tools it is not possible to restore the safety of the parts.

If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered by the warranty.

Environmental considerations and disposal of batteries

When disposing of batteries it is essential to take the environment into consideration. Used batteries must never be disposed of with domestic garbage. Used batteries must be returned to one of the authorized collection points. Batteries must be removed from the appliance before it is disposed of. Also take care that the batteries are not expired or become worn-out since there may then be a risk that the batteries will leak acid.
Check the validity date printed on the batteries.
Disposal of the appliance

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
Warranty
Claims according to current law. Cash receipt with purchase date shall be enclosed with any claims. When raising a claim the appliance must be returned to the store of purchase.
