CLEANING

Utensils

There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not safe to use for microwaving. If in doubt, you can test the utensil in question following the procedure below.

Utensil Test:

1 Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the utensil in question.
2 Cook on maximum power for 1 minute.
3 Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty utensil is warm, do not use it for microwave cooking.
4 Do not exceed 1 minute cooking time.

Materials you can use in microwave oven

Aluminum foil Shielding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls. The foil should be at least 1 inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.

Browning dish

Turntable Installation

1 Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should never be restricted.

2 Both glass tray and turntable ring assembly must always be used during cooking.

3 All food and containers of food are always placed on the glass tray for cooking.

4 If glass tray or turntable ring assembly cracks or breaks, contact your nearest authorized service center.

Countertop Installation

Remove all packing material and accessories.

Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install if oven is damaged.

Cabinet:

Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cabinet surface.

Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is attached to the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.

Installation

Select a level surface that provide enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents. A minimum clearance of 3.0 inches (7.5cm) is required between the oven and any adjacent walls. One side must be open.

1 Leave a minimum clearance of 12 inches (30cm) above the oven.

2 Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the oven.

3 Blocking the intake and/or outlet openings can damage the oven.

4 Place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible.

Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.

Plug your oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frequency on the rating label.

WARNING: Do not install oven over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void.

The accessible surface may be hot during operation.

This microwave oven uses modern electronic control to adjust cooking parameters to meet your needs better for cooking.

Switch Instructions

There are two switches on the panel. For better operations, the manual call the left switch for digital switch. Call the right switch for multi-function switch.

Waiting States Instructions

In waiting states, the screen displays the current time or "0:00".

1 When electrifying for the first time, the unit enters into the waiting states;
2 When cooking finish, the unit enters into waiting states;
3 When setting the clock, press "Start/+30Sec." to confirm, then the unit enters into waiting states, LED displays the current clock.

Clock Setting

When the microwave oven is electrified, the oven will display "0:00", buzzer will ring once. Then the unit enters waiting states.

1 Turn multi-function switch to "Clock", the hour figure flash;
2 Turn digital switch to adjust the hour figures, the input time should be within 0-23.
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to confirm, the minute figures will flash.
4 Turn digital switch to adjust the minute figures, the input time should be within 0-59.
5 Press "Start/+30Sec." to finish clock setting. ":" will flash.

Note: If the clock is not set, it would not function when powered.

During the process of clock setting, if you do not press "Start/+30Sec." to confirm in 1 minutes, the oven will go back to the previous status automatically.

Microwave Cooking

1 Turn the multi-function switch to "200W", "300W"..... "800W". It refers to microwave power. And "P200", "P300"..... "P800" displays.
2 Turn digital switch to adjust the cooking time. The time input should be 0:05-95:00.
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to start cooking. Buzzer sounds once.
4 When cooking finish, LED displays the current time. If the time has not been set, "0:00" displays.

Grill Cooking

5 When cooking finish, LED displays the current time. If the time has not been set, "0:00" displays.

Note: If half the grill time passes, the oven should pause and sound twice, and this is normal. You can just press "Start/+30Sec." to continue cooking. But in order to have a better effect of grilling food, you should turn the food over, close the door, and then press "Start/+30Sec." to continue cooking. If there is no operation within 1 minute, the oven will continue working.

Combination Cooking (Microwave+grill)

1 Turn the multi-function switch to "Grill/Combi." . "G" displays.
2 Turn digital switch to choose combi. function. "C-1" or "C-2" displays.
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to confirm the combi. function.
4 Turn digital switch to adjust the cooking time. The time input should be 0:05-95:00.
5 Press "Start/+30Sec." to start cooking. Buzzer sounds once.
6 When cooking finish, LED displays the current time. If the time has not been set, "0:00" displays.

Defrost By Weight

1 When multi-function switch poiting at "Weight Defrost", "DEF1" displays;
2 Turn digital switch to select the food weight. The range of weight is 100-2000g.
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to start defrosting.

Defrost By Time

1 When multi-function switch poiting at "Time Defrost", "dEF2" displays;
2 Turn digital switch to select defrost time. The range of time is 0:05-95:00.
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to start defrosting. The defrost power is P200. It cannot changed.

Microwave Power Adjustable Function

1 During microwave cooking, microwave power can be adjusted from 200W to 800W.
2 During speedy cooking, microwave power can be adjusted by turning multi-function switch;

3 During weight defrost, time defrost, grill cooking, combi. cooking and auto menu cooking process, power cannot be adjusted by turning multi-function switch.

Speedy Cooking

1 When multi-function switch pointing at 200W, 300W, 400W...800W, turn digital switch directly to choose the cooking time, press "Start/+30Sec." to start cooking. Time can be increased by pressing "Start/+30Sec.".
2 When multi-function switch pointing at "Auto Menu", "Weight Defrost", "Grill/Combi." or "Clock", cooking cannot started by pressing "Start/+30Sec.". Time cannot be increased by pressing "Start/+30Sec.".
3 Time can be increased under the states of defrost by time.
4 Time cannot be increased during auto menu can defrost by weight cooking.

Auto Menu

1 Turn multi-function switch to "Auto Menu" to choose auto cooking."A-1" flash;
2 Turn digital switch to choose the menu you need. "A-1", "A-2" to "A-8" will display. "Pizza", "Potato", "Meat", "Vegetable", "Fish", "Pasta", "Soup" and "Porridge" will be selected in order;
3 Press "Start/+30Sec." to confirm the menu you choose;
4 Turn digital switch to choose the food weight;
5 Press "Start/+30Sec." to start cooking;
6 Buzzer sounds five times after cooking finishing.

Lock-out Function for Children

Lock: In waiting state, press "STOP" for 3 seconds, there will be a long "beep" denoting entering the children-lock state and screen will display the locked indicator.

Lock quitting: In locked state, press "STOP" for 3 seconds, there will be a long "beep" denoting that the lock is released.

Specification

1 The buzzer will sound once when turning the multi-function;
2 "Start/+30Sec." must be pressed to continue cooking if the door is opened during cooking;
3 Once the cooking programme has been set, "Start/+30Sec." is not pressed in 1 minute. The current time will be displayed. The setting will be cancelled.
4 Buzzer sounds five times to remind you the cooking is finished.

Trouble shooting

Microwave oven interfering TV reception

Radio and TV reception may be interfered when microwave oven operating. It is similar to the interference of small electrical appliances, like mixer, vaccum cleaner and electric fan. It is normal.

Dim oven light

In low power microwave cooking, oven light may become dim. It is normal

Steam accumulating on door, hot air out of vents

In cooking, steam may come out of door. Most wil get out from vents. But some may accumulate on cool place like oven door. It is normal.

Oven started accidentally with no food in

It is forbidden to run the unit without any food inside. It is very dangerous.

Oven can not be started

Power cord not plugged in thightly.

• Unplug. Then plug again after 10 seconds.
  Fuse blowing or circuit breaker works
• Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker (repaired by professional personnel)
