PRZEZNACZENIE

1. Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully this operating manual.

INTENDED USE

The RAPIDBLADE trimmer is designed for shaving and stubble trimming (beard, moustache and sideburns).

CHARGING THE BATTERY

• The device can only be used when the internal battery is fully charged. Charging time is about 2 hours.
• Charging is indicated by an indicator light (3). The indicator light goes off when the battery is fully charged.
• After charging, disconnect the device from the mains and unplug the power-supply cable from the trimmer socket (8).

NOTE

The device may not be used with the power-supply cable still connected.

USE

Shaving

• Use the switch (2) to activate the device.
• Place the blade against the skin and slide it with long strokes, pressing lightly as you go (Fig. 2).
• Note. The surface of the blade should rest flat on the skin (Fig.3).

Trimming your hair with the comb

• The device is equipped with a precision comb (4) - which allows you to trim your hair to different lengths.
• When trimming for the first time, start with the maximum length setting,
• The settings on the control wheel correspond to the length of the hair (in millimetres) left after trimming.
• Choose between a length of 0.5 mm and a length of 10 mm.
• Mount the comb (4) on the blade (Fig. 7).

• Lower the device onto your face and slide it, while ensuring that the flat part of the comb (4) is in full contact with the skin (Fig. 8).

• Figure 9 shows how to remove the comb (4).
• When finished, press the button (2) to switch off the unit and clean it.

Tips

• Replace the blade when trimming performance and comfort are reduced, but at least once a year.
• The best results can be obtained when the skin and hair are clean and dry.

• CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the appliance, changing the blade, or any maintenance activities, switch off the device by pressing button (2). The unit must be disconnected from the power supply.
• Clean the trimmer after each use.
• Do not use strong or cleaning agents or cleaning products which can damage the surface.
• Remove the comb (Fig. 9).
• Brush away any accumulated hairs.
• Switch the trimmer on briefly and rinse the blade with lukewarm water (Fig. 10).
• Rinse the comb with lukewarm water.
• Carefully wipe off excess water and allow all parts to dry completely.
• Never dry the blade with a towel or a tissue, as this can cause damage.
• All parts of the unit must be dry before subsequent use.

Note: The blade edges are sharp, so use caution when handling this product. If damage is found, the blade must be replaced immediately.

• Press the button (2) to turn off the trimmer.
• Carefully push the blade-release switch upwards, while gripping the blade on both sides (Fig. 11).
• Hold the new blade by both its sides, slide into the body of the device, and press it in place (Fig.12).
