How do I measure temperature with the TrueLife Care T3?

Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead, about 2-5 cm away, and press the measurement button. The result appears in about 1 second.

Can I use the thermometer on a newborn?

Yes, it is suitable for all ages, including newborns. Always follow the instructions for accurate readings.

How do I switch between °C and °F?

Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the unit changes. Release to select the desired mode.

What batteries does the thermometer use?

It requires 2 x AAA alkaline batteries. Ensure they are inserted with correct polarity.

How do I clean the thermometer?

Gently wipe the probe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

What does a fever alarm mean?

The thermometer uses a color-coded display: green (normal), yellow (elevated), red (fever). An audible alarm may sound for high temperatures.

Why does the device show Lo or Hi?

Lo indicates temperature below 34 °C, Hi above 42.2 °C. Possible causes: improper positioning or environmental factors. Wait and retake.

Can the thermometer be used for ambient temperature?

No, it is designed solely for human body temperature measurement. Do not use for room or object temperature.

How to replace the batteries?

Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device, remove old batteries, insert new ones matching +/–, and close the cover.

Is the thermometer waterproof?

MUCUS EXTRACTOR

Notice:

• Do not push the mucus extractor deep into the nasal cavity, there is a risk of injury.
• Under no circumstances should you insert the mucus extractor into body openings other than the nose.
• Do not use the extractor more than 4 times a day, there is a risk of irritation of the child's mucous membrane.
• Use the extractor slowly and gently, rapid and repeated use may cause irritation or inflammation of the nasal tissue.

Procedure for use:

1) Squeeze the mucus extractor and carefully insert it into the child's nostril. 2) Slowly release the pressure on the suction cup and remove it from the nose. 3) Open the aspirator, empty the mucus into a tissue and close it again. 4) Repeat the same procedure for the other nostril. 5) Disassemble the extractor, rinse it in hot water and then dry it.

Cleaning:

• Disinfect the mucus extractor before each use to prevent the transfer of bacteria to the child.
• Suitable disinfection methods are:
• Immersion in boiling water for at least 15 minutes.
• Use of a disinfectant gel designed for infant needs.

FINGER TOOTHBRUSH

1) Put the brush on your finger. 2) Carefully, with gentle movements, run over the child's gums and along the tongue. For the smallest children, cleaning the oral cavity should not take more than 30 seconds. 3) Rinse the brush with hot water and then let it dry.

Cleaning:

• Disinfect the toothbrush before each use to prevent the transfer of bacteria to the child.
• Appropriate disinfection methods are:
• Immersion in boiling water for at least 15 minutes.
• Use of a disinfectant gel designed for infant needs.

ROUND NAIL SCISSORS AND NAIL NIPPERS

Notice:

- Never cut the nails too close to the baby's skin. Risk of injury!

- We recommend trimming the child's nails after a bath, when they are softened by water and easier to cut, or when the child falls asleep.

Procedure for use:

1) Grasp the baby's finger between your index finger and thumb and use the rest of your hand to cover the baby's other fingers. 2) Carefully trim the nail. 3) Repeat the procedure for other fingers.

Cleaning:

- You can clean the blades of scissors and nail clippers with a wet tissue or disinfectant gel designed for baby supplies.

Procedure for use:

1) Slowly and carefully run the file over individual nails.

HAIR BRUSH WITH FINE BRISTLES AND COMB

Notice:

- Avoid pulling the baby's hair. When brushing or combing, hold the roots of the hair with your hand so as not to pull the child's scalp unnecessarily.

Procedure for use:

1) Brush and comb baby's hair slowly and carefully. Work from roots to ends.
