How do I connect my Emos ZS2940 monitor to a computer?

Use an HDMI or VGA cable (sold separately). Connect one end to the monitor and the other to your computer. Select the correct input source using the monitor's Menu button.

How do I adjust the brightness or contrast?

Press the Menu button on the monitor, navigate to Picture settings, and adjust Brightness and Contrast using the arrow buttons.

How do I clean the screen safely?

Turn off the monitor and unplug it. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using chemical cleaners or spraying liquid directly.

What should I do if the monitor shows 'No Signal'?

Check that the cable is securely connected to both the monitor and computer. Ensure the computer is powered on. Try switching the input source via the Menu or using a different cable/port.

Can I mount this monitor on a wall?

Yes, the Emos ZS2940 supports VESA 100x100 mm mounts. Use a compatible wall mount bracket (not included) and follow the instructions.

What do I do if there are dead or stuck pixels?

A few dead pixels are normal within manufacturer tolerances. If many appear, contact Emos support. You can try a pixel refresher tool, but it may not fix hardware issues.

How do I enable or disable the built-in speakers?

Go to the monitor's Menu → Audio settings. Set Volume to adjust or mute. Ensure your computer's audio output is set to HDMI if using that connection.

Why is the screen flickering?

Flickering can be caused by a loose cable, incorrect refresh rate setting, or interference. Check cable connections, set refresh rate to 60 Hz in Display Settings, and keep away from strong magnetic fields.

How can I save power with this monitor?

Enable Power Saving mode in the Menu → Setup settings. Also, set your computer to turn off the display after inactivity. The monitor consumes < 0.5W in standby.

Is the Emos ZS2940 compatible with gaming consoles?

Yes, you can connect a console via HDMI. Note the monitor has a 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time, suitable for casual gaming. For competitive gaming, consider a higher refresh rate model.

LED reflector is designed for indoor and outdoor use to be mounted on a firm ground. Ingress Protection IP54 – for outdoor use

PIR sensor - specification:

PIR sensor setting:

Detection field is possible to be set by moving the motion sensor switch to the left and to the right.

You can choose at what luminosity will the sensor go on by a button A (see picture no. 4).

Time-delay

You can set the time-delay of the lamp by a button B (see picture no. 4)

Detection range

The distance at which the sensor responds to movement can be set using the control C.

Mounting

Mount the lamp firmly onto a solid basis, for example a wall (fig. 1, 2, 3). Installation height 2.3–3 m. Direct the reflector as shown on fig. 1 and 2. Connect a 220–240 V\~ power cable to the respective terminals of the terminal strip.

Maintenance instructions:

Before maintenance, switch off the lamp and wait until it is cooled.

Clean it with a soft moistened cloth. Never submerge the lamp in water or other liquids.

During maintenance, observe general rules for occupational safety, and be very careful.

WARNING

• The reflector is designed entirely for firm mounting.
• Before connecting to the 220–240 V\~ make sure that the connecting wire is not under voltage. This operation can be carried out only by an authorized person.
• Respect a minimum distance of 1 m between the appliance and the object or surface which you wish to lighten.
• If you place the reflector below the roof, keep the minimum 0.2m distance measured from the upside of the reflector to the bottom of the roof.
• Do not use the reflector without the protection glass.
• The protection from dangerous contact voltage is ensured by "earthing".
