How do I set the time?

Turn the LOCK key to the TIME level. The time display will flash. Press the MODE button to cycle through the setting fields (hour, minute, etc.) and use UP/DOWN to adjust. Turn the LOCK key back to LOCK STATUS to confirm.

How do I set the alarm?

Turn the LOCK key to the ALARM level. The alarm time will flash. Press MODE to select the field and UP/DOWN to adjust. Then turn the LOCK key to MO-FR (workday) or MO-SU (daily) to activate. Turn to ALARM OFF to disable.

How does the radio-controlled clock work?

The clock automatically searches for the DCF 77.5 kHz radio signal at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 AM. If the signal is received, the time is set automatically. You can also manually start a search by pressing and holding the DOWN button. The RCC icon flashes during search and stays steady when locked.

How do I switch between °C and °F?

Press the UP button to toggle between °C and °F. The temperature unit will change on the display.

How does the snooze function work?

When the alarm rings, press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to silence it for 5 minutes. The Zz symbol will flash. You can snooze up to 10 times. Press any other button to cancel snooze.

What power source can I use?

You can power the clock using 3x AAA batteries (not included) or the included AC adaptor (input 100-240V, output 5V 1.2A). Using the adaptor keeps the backlight on continuously.

How do I turn on the backlight?

Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to turn on the backlight for 5 seconds. If using the AC adaptor, the backlight stays on continuously. On battery power, it only lights briefly to save battery.

What if the clock does not receive the radio signal?

If the signal is not received, the clock will keep searching at the next scheduled time (1-5 AM). You can also manually start a search by holding the DOWN button. Ensure the clock is placed away from interference (e.g., metal objects, electronic devices) and in a region where DCF is available.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

The manual advises not to mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries. It also says do not mix new and old batteries. For best performance, use fresh alkaline AAA batteries. Rechargeable batteries may have lower voltage and affect operation.

How do I dispose of the product?

GETTING STARTED

POWER SUPPLY

1) Remove the battery compartment cover.
2) Insert 3x AAA batteries matching the polarity (+and-), or plug in AC adaptor.

RCC (RADIO-CONTROLLED CLOCK) FUNCTION

After powering on, if the switch is on "TIME", it is TIME SETTING mode, it will not enter RCC signal receiving. If the switch is not on "TIME" shift, it will enter RCC signal receiving. RCC signal searching will start everyday automatically and it will last about 7 minutes. Automatically search radio signal to adjust time at 1:00 am, 2:00 am, 3:00 am, 4:00 am and 5:00 am. If there is no signal received or before 3:00 am, it will automatically start searching at 4:00 am and 5:00 am. If signal received at 4:00 am, it will not search signal that day. No matter the signal received at 5:00 am or not, there will not search again that day. RCC time searching will last 7 minutes. Under normal time displaying mode, keep pressing 'DOWN' button to enter into RCC signal searching. Under the RCC signal searching mode, press "DOWN" button to quit RCC signal searching.

RCC RECEIVING ICON

When the clock is searching signal, RCC icon ▶will be flashing, if signal is detected,

will display and keep flashing. After signal successfully received, LCD will display and stop flashing, and exist RCC searching. If no signal received that day, next searching time will be at 1:00 am next day. If alarm rings while searching RCC signal, the clock will continue searching RCC signal after alarm stopped.

When receive DST, the DST symbol will display on the LCD screen ✗, if no DST, It will display ✗ only.

TIME and CALANDER SET

1) When power on, the preset time will be displayed on AM 00:00. The RCC function will automatically turn on and searching signal.
2) Turn the "LOCK" key to "TIME" level, time display will be flashing.
3) Press the "MODE" button to set the time and Calendar data, press UP or DOWN to adjust it.
4) Turn the "LOCK" key back to LOCK STATUS to confirm the data setting.
5) Press and hold "DOWN" key to turn on or turn off the RCC function by manually.

ALARM AND SNOOZE SET

ALARM SET

1) When power on, the preset alarm time displayed is AM 7:00.
2) Turn the "LOCK" key to the "ALARM" level, the alarm time will be flashing.
3) Press the "MODE" button to set the alarm time, press UP or DOWN to adjust it.
4) Turn the "LOCK" key back to LOCK STATUS to confirm the data setting.
5) Turn to the "MO-FR" level to set working day alarm (alarm working from Mon. to Fri.). Word "MO-FR" will display on sreen.
6) Turn to the "MO-SU" level to set the daily alarm (alarm working from Mon. to Sun.). Word "MO-SU" will display on sreen.
7) Turn the "ALARM OFF" level to turn off the alarm.
8) Alarm will last 1 minute if no other operations.

SNOOZE SET

1) When alarm ringing, press "LIGHT/SNOOZE" to make it silent for 5 minutes, and the snooze "Zz" flashing.
2) During snooze time, press any other key(except "LIGHT/SNOOZE") will stop snooze function.
3) The maximum of repeated snooze can be 10 times.

TEMPERATURE

1) The indoor temperature will display automatically after set up.
2) Press "UP" key to switch °C/°F.
3) The temperature will be automatically updated in each 10 seconds.
4) Temperature tolerance: +/- 1.5 °C

BACK LIGHT

Press "LIGHT/SNOOZE" to manual switch on backlight, it will last for 5 seconds. If backlight need to lit contiously, AC adaptor would be recommended.
