• Do not use a hair dryer to inflate the mattress.

PREPARING THE MATTRESS

Unroll the mattress and lay it on a clean flat surface.

To inflate the mattress with air, you can use the foot pump built into the mattress, or you can use a hand pump (not included). To inflate the mattress with air using the hand pump, open the valve, connect the pump and inflate it. When the mattress is firm enough, disconnect the pump, plug the valve. When the mattress is firm enough, disconnect the pump, plug the valve.

To use the foot pump, plug the side valve. Unscrew the top valve nut, remove the rubber plug. Pressing the pump spring repeatedly, inflate the mattress with air. Plug the valve with the plug and tighten the nut.

STORING THE MATTRESS

After use, drain the air from the mattress. To do this, open the valves, and gently fold the mattress by pressing it.

Store the folded mattress in a dry place.

REPAIRING A MATTRESS LEAK

If a mattress leak is found, inflate the mattress. Locate the suspected location of the air leak by listening. Gently moisten the suspected area with soapy water. At the location of the air leak, bubbles would appear.

Empty the mattress of air, clean and degrease the area around the leak well. Apply an appropriately sized patch at the air leak site. Smooth it out. Leave the patch pinched with a heavier object for 24 hours to dry.
