ATTENTION! Do not use the unit near containers filled with water (such as bath, swimming pool etc.).

• When using the unit in a bathroom, unplug it right after usage by taking the plug out of the socket, as closeness of water is dangerous, even if the unit is switched off.
• For additional protection you can install a residual current device with nominal operation current not exceeding 30 mA, into the mains of the bathroom; contact a specialist for installation;

SAFETY MEASURES

• Before switching the unit on make sure that voltage of the mains corresponds to unit operating voltage.
• Do not switch the unit on in places where aerosols or highly inflammable liquids are used.

• Hair spray should be applied only after hair styling is finished.
- It is recommended to unwind the power cord to its full length while using the unit.
• The power cord should not:
- touch hot objects,
– be immersed into water,
- run over sharp edges of furniture,
- be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
- Do not touch the unit or the power plug with wet hands.

Before the first use

• Unpack the curling tong and unwind the power cord completely.
• Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that unit operating voltage corresponds to your home mains voltage.
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Set the switch (2) to the “On” position to switch the curling tong on; the power indicator (3) will light up.
• Place the tong on the safety stand (5) and let it heat up.

Note:

When using the unit for the first time, foreign smell from the operating surface (7) can appear. It is normal.

Usage

- Divide the hair into locks not wider than 4-5 cm each.

• Take the unit by the handle (1).
• Take a hair lock near hair roots with the free hand.
- Press the clamp lever (4) and take the lock end, release the lever (4) and wrap the hair around the whole operating surface (7).
- Wait for several seconds to make sure the lock is fixed, then then uncurl the hair and release the lock from the clamp (6).
- Repeat this procedure until you finish curling all your hair.
- Between operations, place the unit on the safety stand (5).
- After you finish curling, switch the unit off by setting the switch (2) to the «Off» position, the power indicator (3) will go out.
- Unplug the unit.
- Place the unit on the safety stand (5) and let it cool down completely.

Cleaning and care

• Before cleaning unplug the unit and let it cool down completely.
• Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liquids.
• Wipe the unit body with a soft slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use detergents, abrasives and any solvents to clean the unit.

Storage

- Let the unit cool down completely and make sure that the unit

body is clean and dry before taking it away for storage.
