Frequently Asked Questions - Flooris Zelmer

How do I change the dust bag on my Zelmer Flooris vacuum cleaner?
Open the front cover of the canister, remove the full dust bag by pulling the cardboard tab, and insert a new bag (type E) until it clicks. Close the cover securely.
What type of filter does the Flooris use and how often should I clean it?
The vacuum uses a HEPA 13 washable filter. Clean it every 3-4 months by rinsing under cold water and allowing it to dry completely before reinserting. Replace every 12 months.
Why is the suction power weak?
Check if the dust bag is full, the filter is clogged, or the hose is blocked. Also ensure the suction control slider is set to maximum. Empty or clean as needed.
How do I unblock the hose?
Disconnect the hose from the canister. Use a long flexible rod or a broom handle to gently push the blockage out. Alternatively, run water through the hose if the blockage is wet debris. Allow to dry before reattaching.
Can I use the vacuum for wet pick-up?
No, the Zelmer Flooris is designed for dry vacuum cleaning only. Using it on wet surfaces or liquids can damage the motor and void the warranty.
What should I do if the vacuum overheats and shuts off?
Turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Check for blockages in the hose, filter, or dust bag. Allow the vacuum to cool for at least 30 minutes before restarting. If the problem persists, contact Zelmer support.
How do I attach the floor brush for carpets?
Slide the floor brush onto the end of the telescopic tube until it clicks. For carpets, press the foot pedal to retract the bristles. For hard floors, press again to extend the bristles.
What is the dust capacity of the dust bag?
The dust bag capacity is 2.0 liters. Replace the bag when the indicator turns red or when suction noticeably decreases.
Where can I buy spare parts like dust bags or filters?
Spare parts are available at authorized Zelmer dealers, online retailers, or through the manufacturer's website. Use only genuine Zelmer parts for optimal performance.
How do I store the vacuum cleaner safely?
Unplug the vacuum and wrap the cord around the cord clips. Store the canister and accessories in a dry, upright position. Ensure the floor brush is detached and the hose is not kinked.

Refact the brush when vacuuming carpets (set the switch in “”).
⑥ The accessories may be attached to the accessory holder in the suction hose handle. This way they will be available for use at any time.
⑦ Pull the plug and cord (3) out of the vacuum cleaner. Do it smoothly (do not tug) to avoid cord tangling and blocking in the vacuum body.

While pulling out the cord pay attention to the yellow stripe which signals the end of the cord. Further attempts (pulling on cord) may result in damaging the cord.

Use this feature to temporarily turn off the vacuum cleaner without having to use the power button by hooking your combination carpet & floor brush on the parking system. For a quick break during vacuum cleaning, simply hook your combination carpet & floor brush on the parking system (2) in a horizontal position. The vacuum cleaner will turn off automatically. The dust bag full indicator (7) will come on.
