How does the UV lamp work?

The lamp emits UVC light at 253.7 nm, which damages the DNA of microorganisms, effectively sterilizing surfaces and air.

Is it safe to use around people and pets?

No, direct exposure to UVC can harm skin and eyes. The lamp has a motion sensor that automatically turns it off when movement is detected.

How long should I run the lamp to disinfect a room?

For a typical room of 20 m², run for 30 minutes. Larger rooms may require longer times.

Can I use it on surfaces?

Yes, but only when no people or pets are present. The UVC light kills germs on non-porous surfaces.

How often should I replace the UV bulb?

The bulb lasts approximately 8000 hours. Replace when you notice a decrease in disinfection efficiency.

Can I leave the lamp on overnight?

It's not recommended. The lamp has a timer up to 60 minutes. For longer disinfection, run multiple cycles with breaks.

Does the lamp produce ozone?

No, this model uses low-pressure mercury vapor that emits only UVC, not ozone.

How do I clean the lamp?

Unplug the lamp and wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents.

Where can I buy replacement bulbs?

Replacement bulbs (model ZI-UVBULB) are available from authorized dealers or online.

What if the motion sensor is too sensitive?

You can adjust the sensor sensitivity via a dimmer knob on the side of the lamp. Refer to the manual for details.

3 ASSEMBLY

1. Use 2 knob M8 to fix the axis with wheel on the lower rail. pls noted that the hole must be fit, as picture 1.

1. Fix the two circle on the steel tube with M6X40 screw and nut M6, as picture 2.

1. Join the two steel tube, fix the box on the steel tube with two M6X35 screw and two M6 nut, as picture 3.
2. Put the circle bucket on the circle, and place the bag.
3. Put the square bucket in the box.

4 MAINTENANCE

The machine does not require intense maintenance. However, to ensure a long lifespan, we strongly recommend following the upkeep and maintenance plan.

Repairs must be carried out by specialists! Use original ZIPPER parts only!

4.2 Disposal

4.8 Spare part order

With original ZIPPER spare parts you use parts that are attuned to each other and shorten the installation time and elongate your machines lifespan.

The installation of non-original parts renders the warranty null and void.

Exempted is the replacement of the spark plug if carried out by a specialist.

5 GUARANTEE

Warranty claims based on your sales contract with your ZIPPER retailer, including your statutory rights, shall not be affected by this guarantee declaration.

Zipper Maschinen grants 1 year of spare part guarantee, reduced to 6 months for tools in commercial use, valid from the purchase date on the sales receipt.

The guarantee covers the replacement of defect/deficient machine parts/components whose defect/deficiency can be verified adequately that the deficiencies were caused by a material or manufacturing fault.

The Guarantee does not cover:

Wear and tear parts like belts, cutters etc., except to initial damage which has to be claimed immediately after receipt and initial check of the machine.

Defects of the tool caused by non-compliance with the operating instructions, improper assembly, improper use, impact of foreign forces like stones, tree trunks etc ..., insufficient servicing or maintenance.

Damages being the causal effect of performed manipulations, changes, additions made to the machine.

Slight deviations from the specified quality or slight appearance changes that do not affect functionality or value of the tool.
