IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances, including the following:
- Read all Instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse electrical cord in water or other liquid.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a counter or table.
- Do not place on or near a hot burner or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when using or moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Always attach plug to appliance first and then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "O" (OFF) then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Make sure to insert temperature control probe completely into the receptacle. When inserting or removing temperature control probe, always grip the probe instead of pulling the power cord.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system
- Only the appropriate connector can be used.
- Domestic use only.
- Do not use outdoors.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
- A short detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.

HOW TO USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Pull the grill away from the plastic base.
- Wash the Grilling surface, with warm soapy water by using a sponge or dishcloth. Rinse thoroughly to remove soap residue.
- Never immerse the power cord, plug or temperature selector in water or other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
CONNECTING TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE
- Be sure the temperature control is set to the "O" (OFF) position.
- Plug the power cord to the appliance first, and then plug cord into the wall outlet.
CONDITIONING THE COOKING SURFACE
Before using for the first time, we recommend conditioning the non-stick surface to ensure stick-free cooking.
- Apply a small amount of oil, or vegetable shortening to the non-stick surface.
- Set the temperature control to 120^ C and heat for 15 minutes.
START COOKING
- Turn the knob to the desired temperature setting. The red indicator light will illuminate.
- The light will go off when the grill has reached the selected temperature.
- Cook food with little or no oil. Remove the plastic wrapping material from food first if any exists.
- When finished, turn the temperature control to the "O" (OFF) position and unplug the power plug from wall outlet.
NOTE:
- During operation the light will turn on and off indicating the proper temperature is being maintained.
- Metal utensils that may scratch the non-stick surface are not recommended for use with the grill. Use wooden and heatproof plastic utensils.
CAUTIONS
- Do not touch any hot surfaces.
- Do not pour large amount of oil or butter on the grill surface. The grill has non-stick surface so that only little or no oil is needed for cooking. Be careful of the spattering oil while cooking; wear protective mitts if necessary.
- Do not cut any food while still in the grill, as this will damage the non-stick cooking surface. Remove food with large spatula and place on a cutting board before cutting.
- Do not use metal or abrasive utensils when cooking on non-stick grill surface to prevent from scratching.
HOW TO CLEAN & CARE
AFTER USE
- Disconnect the plug from wall outlet, and then remove the power cord from the appliance.
- Allow the unit to completely cool.
- Wash the grill by soft sponge with warm water.
- Due to the harsh abrasives in many dishwashing detergents, we recommend that you hand wash the grill with warm water.
CARE OF TEMPERAURE CONTROL PROBE
- Clean temperature control and receptacle pin with dry soft cloth.
To prevent damage to the temperature control probe do not drop, hit, or impact the control.
- Only use the temperature control that is provided by the manufacturer to be used with this appliance.
CAUTIONS:
• Never immerse the power cord, plug or temperature selector in water or other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to clean the grill surface.

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS
- The warranty is valid only on presentation of invoice of purchase.
- This WARRANTY is limited exclusively to parts substitution ineffective due to faulty manufacture, made in our workshops.
- The elimination of several faults of the scope of the guarantee is made for repair or replacement of defective parts, according to the discretion of our technical services. Defective parts are our property.
- Are not covered under warranty damage caused by transportation, neglect or poor use, improper assembly or installation, as well as external influences such as: lightning strikes or power, flooding, humidity, etc..
- Lose warranty, all appliances that are not being used according to the instructions, or connected to FEEDING NETWORKS not guarantee a constant voltage of 220/240V.
- The warranty does not cover damages for personal injury or damage caused directly or indirectly in any capacity whatsoever.
- This warranty terminates when it is found to have been undergoing repairs, alterations or interventions by any person not authorized by Jocel.
THE WARRANTY EXPIRES
- With the modification or disappearance of the nameplate of the appliance.
- Exceeded the period of 2 years for home appliances and 06 months for industrial appliances, warranty expires and assistance will be made by charging the costs of manpower, according to current fees.
