How do I pair my phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the sound system and press the MODE button until Bluetooth is selected. On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'HIFONICS'. Once connected, you will hear an acoustic confirmation. Play music from your phone.

How can I use two EB112A systems together (TWS)?

Ensure both systems are in Bluetooth mode. Connect your mobile device to one of the systems via Bluetooth. Briefly press the TWS button on the system that is connected to your phone. Both systems will automatically pair within 1 minute. To unpair, hold the TWS button for about 15 seconds.

Can I use this sound system in my car?

Yes, the EB112A can be used as a subwoofer in a vehicle. Connect the RCA cable from your car's head unit to the AUDIO IN input. Set the LPF/FULL switch to LPF (subwoofer mode). Connect the DC 12V power connector to an external 12V battery (e.g., car battery) and ensure correct polarity. The REM terminal should be connected to the car radio's remote turn-on signal.

How long does the battery last?

The built-in 20Ah battery provides over 20 hours of playtime at medium volume and about 5 hours at high volume. Actual runtime may vary depending on volume and usage.

How do I charge the battery?

Connect the supplied power cable to the POWER input and to a mains outlet. The CHARGE button should be set to position I (operating with 230V and charging) or O (off but charging). The CHARGE LED indicates charging. The FULL LED lights up when the battery is fully charged.

What audio formats are supported via USB/SD?

The EB112A supports playback of MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, and APE files from USB flash drives or SD cards. Insert the media and press MODE to select USB or SD as the source.

How to connect a microphone or guitar?

Connect a microphone to the MIC input (6.35mm jack) and a guitar to the GUITAR input (6.35mm jack). Use the MIC VOL and GT VOLUME controls to adjust their volumes. The MIC ECHO control adds echo effect. Enable VOICE PRIORITY for karaoke (background music quiets when speaking).

How to adjust the equalizer?

Press the EQ button on the remote control. You can choose from five presets: Flat (no adjustment), Party (ideal for parties), Groove (background music), BigBand (classical/jazz), and Studio (sophisticated music). Note: EQ is only adjustable via remote.

What is the subwoofer mode?

Subwoofer mode is for using the EB112A as a subwoofer in a vehicle. Connect the head unit's RCA cable to AUDIO IN. Set the LPF/FULL switch to LPF and adjust the LPF control to set the crossover frequency. The device will reproduce only low frequencies.

How to clean and maintain the sound system?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaners. Keep the device away from dust, moisture, and direct sunlight. If not used for a long time, disconnect the power cord and store the battery charged.

This product is designed as indoor or outdoor sound system and can also be used as a subwoofer system in a vehicle. The product can be operated with an operating voltage of 100 - 230 V (alternating current) or 12 - 15 V (direct current) and with the integrated, rechargeable battery.

According to the Battery Act (BattG), we are obliged to point out the following: Batteries must not be disposed in the household waste. 1. NEVER plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands. Do not place the device in a damp place or in the rain to avoid accumulation of liquid on the surface. Do not place a container with water or other liquids on the unit.

1. The LCD display shows status information.
2. Use the MODE button to select the input signal source (BT / USB/SD / Audio In).
3. Insert a suitable memory card with music files into the SD card slot.
4. Insert a USB stick with music files into the USB port.
5. You can play or pause the selected track with the >II button.
6. Use the I<< button to jump to the previous track.
7. Use the >>I button to jump to the next track.
8. Repeat function (RPT): All > One > Random > Folder (SD card and USB only)
9. The TWS function is used to couple two EB112A systems via Bluetooth® to form a stereo system. Both systems must be in Bluetooth® mode. Then connect your mobile device to one of the systems. To pair, briefly press TWS on the device with which your Bluetooth® device has connected. Both systems couple within 1 minute. To release the coupled systems, hold the TWS button for approx. 15 seconds.
10. At the signal input AUX (3.5 mm jack) you can e.g. connect a smartphone.
11. At the signal input AUDIO IN (RCA) you can use an external signal source such as a CD player. For subwoofer operation in the vehicle, the RCA cable that comes from the head unit must be connected.
12. At the signal output AUDIO OUT (RCA) you can e.g. connect a mixer.
13. You can connect a microphone to the MIC input (6.35 mm jack).
14. You can connect a guitar to the GUITAR signal input (6.35 mm jack).
15. The MAIN VOL control regulates the overall volume of the sound system.
16. The TREBLE control regulates the treble of the sound system.

17. The BASS control regulates the bass of the sound system.

18. The MIC ECHO control regulates the degree of the echo effect of the connected microphone.

19. The MIC VOL control regulates the volume of the connected microphone.
20. The GT VOLUME control regulates the volume of the connected guitar.
21. The VOICE PRIORITY switch activates the karaoke function, i.e. the background music will be played a bit quieter as soon as a microphone is used.
22. The AUDIO IN GAIN control regulates the input sensitivity of the connected input signal from AUDIO IN.
23. The LPF control regulates the crossover frequency of the AUDIO IN low pass filter.
24. At the LPF / FULL switch, you can determine whether the input signal should be a full-range signal or a low-pass signal (subwoofer mode).
25. The CHARGE button does the following: I: The device is operated with 230 volts via the connected power plug and the internal battery is charged. O: The device is off and the internal battery is charged when the power plug is connected. II: The device is operated with the internal battery or, if an external battery is connected to DC12V, operated with this.
26. Connect the enclosed power plug to POWER.
27. This connector is removable and can remain in the vehicle in subwoofer mode. An external 12 volt battery (e.g. vehicle battery) can be connected to DC 12V IN to supply the device with power. Pay attention to correct polarity. The REM control signal (or a switched + 12V supply line) of the car radio must be present at the REM terminal in subwoofer mode.
28. The device fuse (FUSE 30A) protects the device against overload and short circuits. If this is defective, you can use the spare fuse instead (SPARE FUSE). Exchange defective fuses only for fuses with the same fuse rating and design.
29. The LEDs at BATT show the following: FULL: The internal battery is fully loaded LOW: The charging capacity of the internal battery is too low and should be charged. CHARGE: The internal battery is being charged.

Bluetooth® Audio Streaming

1. Turn on the power of the sound system and press the MODE key at the LCD display or the remote until the device confirms Bluetooth as input source acoustically.
2. Search the name "HIFONICS" on your mobile phone or an other device and tap on connect. The device confirms acoustically when the connection is succeeded.
3. Play music on your mobile phone or an other device and it will be played via the sound system.
4. To disconnect the Bluetooth ^ operation, turn off Bluetooth ^ on your mobile phone or an other device or change the input source on the sound system.

EB-MIC Wireless Microphone Upgrade-Kit

For the EB112A sound system the optional wireless microphone upgrade kit EB-MIC is available. This upgrade kit contains two wireless microphones and a receiver (incl. installation guide) that must be installed in the device.
