Frequently Asked Questions - 57708 HYUNDAI

How do I use the vacuum cleaner for wet vacuum cleaning?
First, ensure the appliance is unplugged. Remove the dust bag and attach the foamed plastic filter over the filter basket. Plug in and turn the switch to the 'I' or 'II' position (depending on model). The vacuum will start. Never use the dust bag for wet cleaning.
How do I switch between wet and dry mode?
For wet mode, use the foamed plastic filter. For dry mode, use the dust bag. Always unplug before changing filters or bags. Refer to the assembly diagrams in the manual.
What does the 'II' position on the switch do?
On models with a socket outlet, the 'II' position enables automatic operation: the vacuum starts 3-5 seconds after a connected tool starts and stops when the tool stops. The tool's power must be below 1000W.
Can I vacuum flammable liquids or hot ashes?
No. Never vacuum burning matches, glowing ashes, cigarette ends, or any flammable, corrosive, or explosive substances. This can cause fire or damage.
How do I clean the foam filter?
Unplug the vacuum. Remove the filter and wash it with clean water only. Do not use detergents. Let the filter dry completely before reinstalling.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
Is the dust bag suitable for wet vacuum cleaning?
No. The dust bag is intended only for dry vacuum cleaning. Using it for wet cleaning will damage the bag and the vacuum.
What is the maximum power load for the socket outlet?
The socket outlet on models with this feature has a maximum load of 1000W. Do not exceed this rating.
How should I dispose of this product?
Do not dispose with household waste. Follow local recycling regulations for electrical appliances. Use return systems or contact the retailer for environmentally safe recycling.
What is the warranty period?
The manufacturer provides a warranty of at least 1 year (2 years in Germany) from the date of purchase. It covers defects in material or workmanship. Keep the original bill of purchase.
