- Before Use - If you are not familiar with the safe operation/handling of the equipment, or are in any way unsure of any aspect of suitability or correct use for your application, you should complete training conducted by a person or organization qualified in safe use and operation of this equipment, including fuel/electrical handling and safety.
- Do NOT operate the equipment in flammable or explosive environments, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The equipment may create sparks or heat that may ignite flammable substances.
- Keep clear of moving parts.
- Equipment may be a potential source of electric shock or injury if misused.
- Do NOT operate the equipment if it is damaged, malfunctioning or is in an excessively worn state.
- Do NOT allow others to use the equipment unless they have read this manual and are adequately trained.
- Keep packaging away from children - risk of suffocation! Operators must use the equipment correctly. When using the equipment, consider conditions and pay due care to persons and property.
General Work Area Safety
• Work areas should be clean and well it.
- Do not operate the equipment if bystanders, animals etc are within operating range of the equipment or the general work area.
- If devices are provided for connecting dust extraction / collection facilities, ensure these are connected and used properly. Dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
General Personal Safety
- Wear appropriate protective equipment when operating, servicing, or when in the operating area of the equipment to help protect from eye and ear injury, poisoning, burns, cutting and crush injuries. Protective equipment such as safety goggles, respirators, non-slip safety footwear, hard hat, hearing protection etc should be used for appropriate equipment / conditions. Other people nearby should also wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery, which can be caught in moving parts. Keep hair and clothing away from the equipment.
- Stay alert and use common sense when operating the equipment. Do not over-reach. Always maintain secure footing and balance.
- Do not use the equipment if tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
- This equipment is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
General Fuel Safety
- Petrol/fuel/gasoline is extremely flammable – keep clear of naked flames or other ignition sources.
- Do not spill fuel. If you spill fuel, wipe it off the equipment immediately – if fuel gets on your clothing, change clothing.
- Do NOT smoke near fuel or when refuelling.
- Always shut off the engine before refuelling.
- Do NOT refuel a hot engine.
- Open the fuel cap carefully to allow any pressure build-up in the tank to release slowly.
• Always refuel in well ventilated areas. - Always check for fuel leakage. If fuel leakage is found, do not start or run the engine until all leaks are fixed.
General Carbon-Monoxide Safety
- Using a combustion engine indoors CAN KILL IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust contains carbon-monoxide – a poison you cannot smell or see.
- Use combustion engines OUTSIDE only, and far away from windows, doors and vents.
General Equipment Use and Care
- The equipment is designed for domestic use only.
- Handle the equipment safely and carefully.

Before use, inspect the equipment for misalignment or binding of moving parts, loose components, damage or any other condition that may affect its operation. If damaged, have the equipment repaired by an authorised service centre or technician before use.

Prevent unintentional starting of the equipment - ensure equipment and power switches are in the OFF position before connecting or moving equipment. Do not carry equipment with hands or fingers touching any controls. Remove any tools or other items that are not a part of the equipment from it before starting or switching on.
- Do not force the equipment. Use the correct equipment for your application. Equipment will perform better and be safer when used within its design and usage parameters.
- Use the equipment and accessories etc. in accordance with these instructions, considering working conditions and the work to be performed. Using the equipment for operations different from those intended could result in hazardous situations.
- Always keep equipment components (engines, hoses, handles, controls, frames, housings, guards etc) and accessories (cutting tools, nozzles, bits etc) properly maintained. Keep the equipment clean and, where applicable, properly lubricated.
- Store the equipment out of reach of children or untrained persons. To avoid burns or fire hazards, let the equipment cool completely before transporting or storing. Never place or store the equipment near flammable materials, combustible gases or liquids etc.
- The equipment is not weather-proof, and should not be stored in direct sunlight, at high ambient temperatures or locations that are damp or humid.
- Do not clean equipment with solvents, flammable liquids or harsh abrasives.

General Electrical Safety
- Inspect electrical equipment, extension cords, power bars, and electrical fittings for damage or wear before each use. Repair or replace damaged equipment immediately.
- Ensure all power sources conform to equipment voltage requirements and are disconnected before connecting or disconnecting equipment.
- When wiring electrically powered equipment, follow all electrical and safety codes.
- Wherever possible, use a residual current device (RCD).
- High voltage / high current power lines may be present. Use extreme caution to avoid contact or interference with power lines. Electrical shock can be fatal.
General Electrical Safety
- Electrically grounded equipment must have an approved cord and plug and be connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
- Do NOT bypass the ON/OFF switch and operate equipment by connecting and disconnecting the electrical cord.
- Do NOT use equipment that has exposed wiring, damaged switches, covers or guards.
- Do NOT use electrical equipment in wet conditions or in damp locations.
- Do NOT use electrical cords to lift, move or carry equipment.
- Do NOT coil or knot electrical cords, and ensure electrical cords are not trip hazards.
General Service Information
- The equipment must be serviced or repaired at authorised service centres by qualified personnel only.
- Replacement parts must be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to ensure equipment safety is maintained.
- Do NOT attempt any maintenance or repair work not described in this manual.
- After use, the equipment and components may still be hot – allow the equipment to cool and disconnect spark plugs and/or electrical power sources and/or batteries from it before making adjustments, changing accessories or performing repair or maintenance.
- Do NOT make adjustments while the equipment is running.
- Perform service related activities in suitable conditions, such as a workshop.
- Replace worn, damaged or missing warning/safety labels immediately.
Portable Air Conditioner Safety
- Read all instructions.
- Disconnect the power plug before dismantling, assembling or before cleaning.
- Avoid touching mobile parts of the appliance.
- Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects though the guards whenever the power plug is connected, especially while running.
- The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the unit safely.
- Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its intended use.
- The appliance must not be used if the guards are not fastened according to instructions.
- When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been checked and tested by a qualified electrician or electrical supplier.
- The air conditioning unit must always be stored and transported upright, otherwise you may cause irreparable damage to the compressor; in case of doubt we suggest waiting for at least 24 hours before you start the air-conditioning unit.
- Avoid restarting the air conditioning unit unless 4 minutes have passed since being turned off, or the compressor may get damaged.
- Never use the mains plug as a switch to start and turn off the air conditioning unit. Use the provided ON/OFF switch located on the control panel.
• Always place the portable air conditioner on a dry stable surface.
Energy Saving Tips
- Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the Outlet or Inlet grills.
- The minimum distance from furniture and wall should be 50cm.
- Keep blinds and /or draperies, on any windows, closed during the sunniest part of the day.
- Keep the filters clean. Under normal conditions, the filters should be cleaned approximately every 30 days. Since the filters remove airborne particles, more frequent cleaning may be necessary, depending on the indoor air quality.
- Set the fan speed switch to high cool and the thermostat to the coolest position for the initial start-up, then set the Fan switch to Low cool and lower the thermostat to a comfortable setting.

Assembly and Set-Up
Selecting Your Location
Install the air-conditioner in a flat, dry location, allowing 50cm of space around the air-conditioner in all directions to allow for adequate circulation of air (when the hose is not connected).

Exhaust Pipe Assembly
- Fix the square end of the exhaust pipe to the exhaust terminal of the unit.
- Put the other end (discharge) to the nearest window. Leave at least 50cm of free space around it.


The length of the air exhaust duct is between 60 to 170cm or 180cm with adapters included. We suggest using the minimum length of the air exhaust dust. That can save energy for you.
This length has been designed according to the specifications of this air conditioner unit. Do not use an extension or a different hose as that may lead to malfunctioning of the unit.
Window Kit Installation
The window kit has been designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal windows. However, it may be necessary for you to modify some aspects of the installation procedures for certain types of windows. Please refer to the illustrations below.

If the unit is turned OFF in COOL / DRY / HEAT Mode and restarted immediately, it will wait for at least 3 minutes before running again.


Buttons

TIMER: Press this button to set the timer.

SWING: Press this button to make the vertical louver swing automatically. Press once again, the swinging motion will stop.

SPEED: Press this button for 5 seconds to select HIGH, MIDDLE or LOW Fan Speed.

UP/DOWN: Press up or down button to set temperature or adjust the time in Timer mode. Press both buttons to vary from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

MODE: Press this button to select COOL, HEAT, DRY or FAN Mode.

ECON: Press this button to a set Energy Saving Mode (only in HEAT and COOL Mode). The set temperature is 27°C in COOL Mode and 23°C in HEAT Mode. The fan speed is set to low. These
settings can't be changed. The LED display will flash or accordingly. Press again to cancel it when or is flashing.

POWER: Press this button to turn ON/OFF the unit.

Econ Press this button to a set Energy Saving Mode only in COOL and HEAT Mode. The set temperature is 27°C in COOL Mode and 23°C HEAT Mode. The fan speed is set to low. These settings can't be changed.

Operation Methods
Timer Settings
- Set timer-off
Press the Timer button when the unit is ON. The LED will flash “__” five Times. During this period, press Up or Down button to adjust set time from 0.5h to 24h. It will vary 0.5h each time in 3h and 1h each time hereafter. The set time will flash 5 times after adjusting. When it will display temperature again. Once the set time ends, the unit will turn off automatically.
- Change the set time
When Timer is ON, you can check the remaining time by pressing the Timer button. It will flash 5 times. Press Up or Down button to adjust set time. The set time can also be cancelled if you press the Timer button once again during the flashing time.
- Set timer-on
- Press the Timer button when the unit is OFF. Same as timer-off set. Once the set time ends, the unit will turn ON automatically.
Cooling, Heating and Dehumidifying Operations
• Cooling/Heating Operation
Press Mode button or ✉ / ⚙️ to choose COOL/HEAT Mode. Press Up or Down button or ▲ ▼ to set a proper room temperature. The range is 18 – 30°C (64 – 86°F). The temperature will increase or decrease 1°C or 1°F each time.
Press Speed button or 📄 to choose a proper fan speed. Press Swing button or to adjust the direction of vertical louver. Adjust horizontal louver by hand.
• Dehumidifying Operation
Press Mode button or 📄 to choose Dry mode. The fan speed is set to Low and the LED will display the room temperature. These settings cannot be changed.

• In Cool Mode, when the water Injection indicator lights up, you can inject some water through the injection port before cooling operation (no longer than High level). • You should only drain water in Heat and Dehumidifying mode. The unit will stop working when water level exceeds the high level. • Do not use air exhaust duct when in Dry or Fan modes. • If your room is directly exposed to the sun, provide adequate shade and cooling to the room.
Water Drainage Methods
This unit has a self-evaporative system. The condensing water will recycle to cool the condenser. This water-cooler mode can not only improve cooling efficiency and decrease noise, but also save energy for you.
- When in Cooling Mode, the water from the evaporator will flow into an interior pan. When the water reaches the low level, the water pump will start working until the water is under the low level. When the water reaches the high level, the compressor will stop working and the water pump, lower fan and upper fan motors will turn ON.
- When in Heating Mode, the water pump will not work.
- When the water is full, the Water Full Indicator will light up and the compressor will stop working. The buzzer will buzz 10 times every 5 minutes until the water is below the high level or drained manually. When the alarm stops and after a three-minute restart delay, the unit will work normally again.
- Move the unit gently when the water is high, as the water may spill from the inside of the unit.
- When there is not enough water for pumping, the pump will stop working. At the same time, the Water Injection indicator on the control panel will light-up (💡). Inject water into the water drawer carefully. To avoid water flooding from the under pan, you should inject no more than 1800ml (three cups) of water. This operation helps save 20 – 30% energy.

Cleaning the Surface
- Turn OFF the unit and pull the plug out of the socket before any cleaning.
- Clean the surface of the unit with a duster or a half-wet soft cloth. Do not use chemical solvent like benzene, alcohol, gasoline, etc., or the surface could be damaged or even become deformed.
Cleaning the Air Filter
If the air filter is blocked with a lot of dust, the efficiency of the unit will be greatly reduced. Clean the filter every two weeks.
- Pull out the air filter carefully.
- Wash the air filter by immersing it gently in warm water (under 40^ C or 104^ F) mixed with a neutral detergent. Rinse the filter and air-dry it in a cool, dry location.
- Push the air filter back into its original position.

- Remove the water from the drain pan. You can remove the water entirely by slanting the unit backwards. Set the Fan Mode, then press the Fan button for 5 seconds until the lower fan starts-up. After that, operate the unit in Fan Mode for half a day until the pipe is completely dry. This will dry the inside of the unit out and prevent mildew from growing inside.
- Turn off the air-conditioner and unplug it.
- Wind and fasten the power cord up.
- Remove and store the exhaust pipe.
- Cover the air-conditioner with a plastic bag to keep dust out and store in a cool, dry place.
- Remove the batteries from the remote control.
