These operating instructions are intended to enable the safe and proper handling and operation of the appliance.
Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include these operating instructions when passing the appliance on to another user.

We cannot assume any liability for damage resulting from use other than as intended, or from incorrect operation or unauthorized repairs or maintenance.

- Do not direct the air flow directly at people.
- Do not obstruct the air flow and keep a minimum clearance of 50 cm on all sides.
Electric current

ATTENTION!
- Incorrect voltage can destroy the appliance. Operate the appliance only if the voltage specified on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in your household.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids and protect it from rain and moisture.

WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
- Never touch the plug with wet hands.
- When unplugging the appliance, always pull directly on the plug and never on the power cord.
- Do not kink, pinch or run over the power supply cord and do not expose it to heat sources.
- If the mains connection of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's customer service department or a person with similar qualifications, in order to prevent hazards.
- Use only extension cords designed for the power input of the appliance.
- For cleaning and maintenance of the appliance or when replacing parts, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power supply.
- You can wipe clean the housing with a damp cloth.

Assembly

WARNING!
Never use a defective appliance.

WARNING!
Prior to assembly, make sure that the mains plug is unplugged. If the mains plug is plugged in, the appliance could accidentally be switched on, resulting in injuries.

Fully unwind the power cord.
Put together both halves of the base foot [C] so they fit exactly, and run the power cord through the central hole.

Turn the fan back over and put it down on the base foot.
Remote control batteries: Inserting / replacing

- Push the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the remote control outwards and remove.
- Insert 2 AAA/LR03 1.5 V batteries with the positive pole facing outward (see drawing on inside).
- Close the battery compartment until you can hear it click back into place.

NOTICE!
If the device is not required for an extended period of time, the batteries should be removed to prevent damage through leakage.

ATTENTION!
Unserviceable batteries contain hazardous substances, which were previously necessary for the proper functioning and safety of the appliances. Do not dispose of these with your household waste under any circumstances. Dispose of batteries separately!

All operating functions can be selected with the remote control or with the buttons on the device.
Switch on
- Push button [a], a double beep confirms the entry.
Button [a] on the device emits a green light.
- Select the desired fan speed by repeatedly pressing the [b] button. Button [b] on the device emits light in accordance with the speed selected.
Fan revolutions

Power off
- Push button [a], a beep confirms the entry.
All lighted buttons go out.
Oscillation
The cooling fan is equipped with an automatic swivel device = oscillation. This range of horizontal movement is approximately 60^ .
- Switch on this function by pressing the ["c" button, see picture on page 10]
and off again by pressing the [c] button again:

This operating mode allows the fan to be switched off automatically. The timer mode can be selected by pressing button [d] several times in 30-minute steps up to a maximum of 7.5 hours. After the selected period has expired, the cooling fan switches back off again automatically.
- Press button [d] for the requisite number of times until the desired time has been set or the timer switches off again.
1 x = 0.5 hours
2 x = 1 hour
3 x = 1.5 hours
etc. up to maximum of 7.5 hours
Another press = TIMER off.
Depending on the selected speed, the speed changes at different intervals.

- After switching off the wind mode (press button [e] again), the device reverts to the previous speed. > Display [e] on the device goes out.
Cleaning / care

WARNING!
Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. This will prevent the appliance from accidentally being switched on.

ATTENTION!
Do not use cleaning solutions, abrasive cleaners or alcohol. This would damage the housing.
Dust accumulations inside the appliance can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or by blowing with compressed air.
Clean the appliance only with a dry or moist cloth. The appliance requires no special maintenance and care. Wind the power supply cord. Protect from dust during storage.
Appliances that have not been in use for an extended period of time must be checked by a trained technician before being put back in operation. The same applies if the appliance shows dirt on the inside.

This appliance fulfills the requirements of the 2012/19/EU WEEE Directive
We provide a warranty for this appliance subject to the following conditions:
- Your reseller's residential address / company address shall be located in the EU or the appliance shall be purchased from an authorized reseller in Germany.
- We guarantee to ensure that you may send the appliance to us free of charge and to repair the faults which have been reported within 24 months due to material or assembly errors that occur within 24 months (12 months for industrial and professional uses). Proper use of the appliance is a prerequisite for fulfilling the warranty obligation. The warranty period begins with the date of sale.
- Parts included in natural wear parts (drive belt, batteries, brushes, filters) are not covered under warranty.
- Warranty claims shall be void in case of intervention or repair by persons who are not authorized us. In addition, aftermarket spare parts or accessories shall not be installed.
- Warranty service consists of repair or replacement of defective parts. On-site repairs may only be requested for fixed large appliances. In order to document warranty claims, it is necessary to present the invoice or voucher with the date of purchase, stemp and signature from the dealer.
- If the repair operation fails and the fault or defect can not be remedied after service, the appliance shall be replaced with an equivalent appliance. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you are entitled the right to return the appliance and to demand a refund of the sales value of the appliance. A fee may be requested for the period of use in case of a request for an exchange or refund of the sales value.
- Warranty services do not cause an extension of the warranty period or start of a new warranty period. The warranty period for the parts installed inside the appliance ends with the end of the total warranty period of the appliance.
- Contractual or statutory clauses for repair of faults remain in effect regardless of warranty terms.
