Equipment
Fibreglass matrix carbon
Carbon is joined with highly flexible fibreglass and aluminium to a shaft material on this pole that superbly dampens vibrations.
Elbow, wrist and shoulder joints are relieved (which is especially important for asphalt or intensive training).
Grip
The ergonomic shape provides the hand excellent grip for transfer of force.
Carbide tips
Extremely durable, set in unbreakable, resilient plastic. For optimum transfer of force and grip on country lanes, in the woods or in the country.
Asphalt pad
Made from non-slip TPR plastic to protect the metal tips. For smooth surfaces such as road, asphalt or rock. The tip points backwards for pushing.
To replace the asphalt pad, pull it from the tip and plug the new one centrally into the holder on the pole.
Note: When transporting, the asphalt pad must be attached to the item.
Pole disc
Prevent deep sinking into soft or boggy ground.
Pole Length – Determining the Correct Measurement
The item can be adjusted to six different lengths. The correct length should be calculated by multiplying your height by 0.68. For simplification, you can find sizes in the table. The result is then rounded up or down to the next available pole length.
Pole length Height
Open the clamping lever of the quick release and pull the lower end of the pole to the right length. Then close the clamping lever again.
If the clamping force of the quick release is no longer sufficient, tighten the nut on the opposite side of the clamping lever.
Attaching the Wrist Straps
Run your hand under the wrist strap and place the Velcro fastener around the inner wrist so you can read the letters R and L well (Fig. C).
The symbol must be on the inner wrist (Fig. C-D).
Note: Note the R mark for the right-hand strap and L mark for the left-hand strap.

In Nordic walking, walking is connected with Nordic cross-country skiing (hence Nordic). Movement is supported by pushing the Nordic walking poles against the ground. Chest, shoulder and arm muscles are thereby intensively trained. Nordic walking is simple and easy to learn (Fig. H).
